Terrible service, the vet knew my cat was older and at the end of the visit tells us maybe blood work should have been done. So why didn't she do it? It was not my cat's first visit there and she had her records. I found another great vet, but sadly my cat now has stage 2 kidney disease since she didn't catch it. She walked out during our visit without finishing the consult, the assistant told us we were done. I had to wait outside to my get question answered. She didn't really have answers. Also, they took 2 other animals who were walk-ins before us and we were even early for our appointment. I had to ask the receptionist why, they did not have the courtesy to let us know when we would be seen despite our appointment. Rude and poor service. Read Less

When one of our pet chickens was knocking on death's door and we were freaking out, Dr. McNeil was so calming, helpful and knowledgeable. It is a little hole in the wall kind of place. I take my dogs here for vaccines and have never had any problems. I started taking my dogs here because of the price, best price I could find through the Internet for rabies. Very welcoming atmosphere.Read Less

Today we had the worst experience we have ever encountered at a veterinary office My dog was scheduled to be neutered this morning. We never received the customary call to go over pre- op instructions nor to confirm the appt time/ location. H&M 's location is so obscure , that my son had great difficulty finding the office. There is no sign or marquis to help locate place. When he finally arrival he expressed his frustration to the receptionist who apparently was more concerned with her infant son (whom she brought to work.) then the concerns of her customer. She immediately became irritated with my son's critique and then refused to treat our dog. She obviously has no idea what customer service is nor does she care. Apparently Becky,the owner of H&M, is more concerned about employing her best friend then she is about hiring competent employees to manage her facility. Prices are expensive and the staff always assume there is surgery involved to something. Went to Sears vets hospital on I and their prices were better and my dog didnt even need surgery. Very dissapointed with this place. Read Less

I trusted this place as well until she misdiagnosed my Aussie Shepherd for 4 months. She said he had a very bad "staph" infection all over his body. She insisted she was in consult with her friend and colleague at the skin specialists who would be doing the same course of treatment at a much higher price (she kept reminding us of that) but we were more than welcome to go to them. We believed her. Finally 4 months later after bringing our dog in weekly and buying pills that did nothing and ointments and antiseptics that cost a fortune we put him in the car and took him to Pasadena Dermatology Clinic. Dr Dong walked in, saw Buddie and said Panniculitis. We were stunned. How does she know that at a glance and not once did this disease every come out of H & M. We paid H & M well over $3,000 for the unnecessary treatment done to our boy. Not only did they not help but it did nothing but hurt him more. Of course we had to do a biopsy to confirm which was another $1500, but it would have been nice to have had that as an option at H&M. While changing Vets- I called to get a copy of Buddie's records from there-Jeannie informed me wrongly, that we were not entitled to his records, What??? Month after month of the right medications have brought Buddie back to us. He is very scarred due to being shaved down twice to have nonexistent "Staph"cleaned out by H & M and the antiseptics they had us putting on Buddie 3 times a day. She told us the 1st lab she used for Buddie's slides were not doing the labs right so more blood work had to be done. She told us that herself. Also two of our dogs got seriously ill within a month after vaccines given at her clinic, Buddie being one of them. When you add it up it is not worth your animals lives to keep going to her. She seems ok but we have experienced different. We do not leave this review lightly and have thought it over for some time. I live in the San Fernando Valley, called around to get my rabbit fixed, oh you have an exotic animal that'll be $400........ I called H&M, they did my bunny for 30 bucks do I have to drive an hour each way for my animals, yes is it worth it absolutely, as soon as I walked in the office was quiet and peaceful, which is what I need especially when the animals are stressed about health thank you H&M, sincerely woodward Thomas Peer Read Less

I love this Veterinary Office. I take both my dogs there, They are very accommodating when you are a walk in. They are by far the least expensive place to get your dogs nails cut!! Dr. McNeal is awesome, She takes time to make sure your pet is well taken care of and you understand what is going on with their health. The price quoted has always been what I was charged!!
