It's taken me a while to say something about this establishment. We had to put my childhood dog down somewhere in 07-08. We happened to make it there just before they closed because my dog had an emergency issue. The vet, my father, and I decided it was the best course of action to put my childhood dog down. As they administered the shot, they informed me I had parked my car in the wrong spot and I needed to move it. I was a young kid at the time so I didn't tell them "no", like I wish, looking back; I would have, as I missed the last precious seconds of my dog's life. Screw this place, they didn't care at all.

I'm not sure of the name of the nice doctor who helped my brother. I wasn't there but my brother described him as a very personable and caring gentleman. We appreciate how warm and informative he was when he helped my brother. Saturday, 7/22/17 was a very difficult and emotional time for our family. Our dog Milo was very sick. He was in his advanced stage of congestive heart failure. His heart was enlarged and his lungs had fluid inside. My brother basically saw him to get a second opinion. During my brother's doctor's visit, the doctor's kind words of advice to my brother was "love him up!" Milo is no longer with us now and is resting in peace. It's really comforting to know that there are knowledgeable doctors that care. A little of something goes a long way. Thanks again doctor.

The old girl was fifteen, with heart trouble, no longer able to walk, and disinterested in her favorite squeaky toy. Still a sunny disposition but obviously feeling her age and discomfort. We knew. She knew. Still, the decision was hard. We have had numerous experiences with euthanizing our aged pets elsewhere. This included another (shall remain nameless vet) whose bedside euthanasia manner looked horribly like a combo of a mugging and an execution. Not here. Dr. Greg and his staff do it right. Gentle, caring, and respectful. The vet techs cooed over my dog and tempted her with treats while preparing her. They put a little heart patch on her bandage. They dimmed the lights and had the tissues ready. Dr. Greg explained what to expect, and my old dog, drowsy and unafraid, passed peacefully as we stroked her. Goodbye old friend. Thank you Dr. Greg for performing this difficult task with such compassion and kindness.

The vet lied to me regarding€ the invoice for my dog who went into cardiac arrest shortly after surgery began, the office hasn't returned my credit and it's been 2 weeks, and they refuse to give me electronic copies of x-rays and radiology readings I also paid for. My 7 yr old Rottie passed away of perforations in his intestines that I have no idea where or what caused them. They made my baby wait from 9am until after 3pm to do an exploratory surgery on him. I was told they'd start right after they finished cleaning an animals teeth, but I guess lunch was more important. It was a horrifying experience I hope no one ever has to experience.

I highly recommend this vet office! Dr. Greg and his staff have all been fantastic! I was always able to get appointments the same day if needed and even had weekly follow up calls for my dog Paris regarding her ESRD and CHF. All of my questions and concerns were always addressed in a time fashion. Dr. Greg and his staff are the most caring people around. And when it was time to put Paris down they gave us plenty of time alone with her before and after, and the next day we received flowers from their office for our loss. I could not ask for a better vet!

As Dr Gallegos worked diligently to heal our family dog his entire staff worked just as hard to explain to us the procedures. There was no charge that I questioned on the bill. The quality of care given far exceeded the charges for his care. Over a period of four days the staff was attentive and kind to Hägen. He was comforted and well taken care of. As we all worked together to find a solution for him, communication was clear and concise. Thank you Dr Gallegos. You were a true comforting heart as well as an extremely dedicated and precise Doctor.I highly recommend this clinic.

I love this place. This is the only vet I've taken my two dogs to. They know me and them so well. They love seeing them when I come in, they are very popular for being a super loving friendly 75lb German Shepherd and a huge fluffy 100lb long coat Akita. Dr Greg is amazing and takes care of us. He handles all concerns. The ladies up front is always so welcoming and friendly. I've never had a problem. Yes it's a tad pricey but what bet isn't... I love my dogs and money isn't a concern for me to make them healthy and happy.

When I moved to Lancaster in 2013, I was concerned about finding a local vet that was great in terms of competence and experience as well as customer service. Additionally, I was looking for the type of office where they could handle emergency medical situations as well. After some research and review, I found it with Dr. Greg at Lancaster Pet Clinic. The administrative staff are very courteous and they work with you to get an appointment that is convenient to your work and personal schedule.
If you have to leave a phone message, they are great about returning your calls. My feline passed away in January 21, 2014, and prior to her passing, they were great with respect to the care of my kitty. Prices are competitive and Dr. Greg is patient with respect to any questions you may have and listens to everything you have to say. The office sent a condolences card after my kitty had passed and I had spoken to Dr. Greg several times after her passing with lingering questions I had and Dr. Greg was always patient and spent quite a bit of time answering those lingering questions as I am in a period of mourning. I am a person with a tight financial budget and appreciate having a local vet with whom I can trust my pet care with. That to me is everything.

I would not recommend Lancaster Pet Clinic anymore! They love to take your money and are the highest priced vet! We had to put our Harley dog down and mind you in the care of this vet! We bought medicine each month to keep Harley happy and pain free! When it came to putting Harley down they insisted on a "wellness visit" really! They have lost our business! They really do not care about your pet only the money, very sad! Harley meant the world to us!

It's taken me a while to say something about this establishment. We had to put my childhood dog down somewhere in 07-08. We happened to make it there just before they closed because my dog had an emergency issue. The vet, my father, and I decided it was the best course of action to put my childhood dog down. As they administered the shot, they informed me I had parked my car in the wrong spot and I needed to move it. I was a young kid at the time so I didn't tell them "no", like I wish, looking back; I would have, as I missed the last precious seconds of my dog's life. Screw this place, they didn't care at all.

Very nice veterinarians and staff. They got us in the within 12 hours. Thorough exam. They seem to work with you in affordability and treatment of your pet. All in all four stars.

I'm not sure of the name of the nice doctor who helped my brother. I wasn't there but my brother described him as a very personable and caring gentleman. We appreciate how warm and informative he was when he helped my brother. Saturday, 7/22/17 was a very difficult and emotional time for our family. Our dog Milo was very sick. He was in his advanced stage of congestive heart failure. His heart was enlarged and his lungs had fluid inside. My brother basically saw him to get a second opinion. During my brother's doctor's visit, the doctor's kind words of advice to my brother was "love him up!" Milo is no longer with us now and is resting in peace. It's really comforting to know that there are knowledgeable doctors that care. A little of something goes a long way. Thanks again doctor.

The old girl was fifteen, with heart trouble, no longer able to walk, and disinterested in her favorite squeaky toy. Still a sunny disposition but obviously feeling her age and discomfort. We knew. She knew. Still, the decision was hard. We have had numerous experiences with euthanizing our aged pets elsewhere. This included another (shall remain nameless vet) whose bedside euthanasia manner looked horribly like a combo of a mugging and an execution. Not here. Dr. Greg and his staff do it right. Gentle, caring, and respectful. The vet techs cooed over my dog and tempted her with treats while preparing her. They put a little heart patch on her bandage. They dimmed the lights and had the tissues ready. Dr. Greg explained what to expect, and my old dog, drowsy and unafraid, passed peacefully as we stroked her. Goodbye old friend. Thank you Dr. Greg for performing this difficult task with such compassion and kindness.

The prices you can beat they give you so many price options to fit your price range. Plus it's super clean and they are very fast. I have been going here for over 15 years and will keep coming back with all of my animals. The vet lied to me regarding€ the invoice for my dog who went into cardiac arrest shortly after surgery began, the office hasn't returned my credit and it's been 2 weeks, and they refuse to give me electronic copies of x-rays and radiology readings I also paid for. My 7 yr old Rottie passed away of perforations in his intestines that I have no idea where or what caused them. They made my baby wait from 9am until after 3pm to do an exploratory surgery on him. I was told they'd start right after they finished cleaning an animals teeth, but I guess lunch was more important. It was a horrifying experience I hope no one ever has to experience.

So I took my puppy about 4 days ago she was pooping with blood and was really skinny, the vet said oh she's healthy she's fine. Didn't gave me any medication. They said it was 63 dollars and I left brought her back agonizing, he just said oh let's do a test (waisted 39 more dollars) and today unfortunately she passed away because their bad care I'm sincerely the people are very friendly but the vet is not a good at all.

My dog Dickens absolutely loves coming in and seeing everyone. It's amazing to see how happy they are to see you when you come in. The service is amazing, the price is fantastic. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and friendly to our dog and cat! Our last vet left a LOT to be desired and we have since moved cities and were cautiously optimistic after reading the reviews here, and we were NOT disappointed. Finally going through with a procedure for our cat that we had put off because we were uncomfortable with our former vet's bedside manner, but we feel we are in capable and compassionate hands here!

I highly recommend this vet office! Dr. Greg and his staff have all been fantastic! I was always able to get appointments the same day if needed and even had weekly follow up calls for my dog Paris regarding her ESRD and CHF. All of my questions and concerns were always addressed in a time fashion. Dr. Greg and his staff are the most caring people around. And when it was time to put Paris down they gave us plenty of time alone with her before and after, and the next day we received flowers from their office for our loss. I could not ask for a better vet!

During the roughest of times for our family, Dr Gallegos and his staff were the ultimate in caring professionals. As Dr Gallegos worked diligently to heal our family dog his entire staff worked just as hard to explain to us the procedures. There was no charge that I questioned on the bill. The quality of care given far exceeded the charges for his care. Over a period of four days the staff was attentive and kind to Hägen. He was comforted and well taken care of. As we all worked together to find a solution for him, communication was clear and concise. Thank you Dr Gallegos. You were a true comforting heart as well as an extremely dedicated and precise Doctor.I highly recommend this clinic.

I love this place. This is the only vet I've taken my two dogs to. They know me and them so well. They love seeing them when I come in, they are very popular for being a super loving friendly 75lb German Shepherd and a huge fluffy 100lb long coat Akita. Dr Greg is amazing and takes care of us. He handles all concerns. The ladies up front is always so welcoming and friendly. I've never had a problem. Yes it's a tad pricey but what bet isn't... I love my dogs and money isn't a concern for me to make them healthy and happy.

They're great! We'll remain with this office as long as we have our animals.

It's very far and few between that I experience excellence in humanity and career professionalism these days. Dr Greg exemplifies all of these wonderful qualities and much much more. I more than highly recommend Lancaster Pet Clinic to any true pet owner/lover bar none. Since my first visit to Lancaster Pet Clinic I REFUSE to take my beloved dogs (kids) to anybody else period. When I moved to Lancaster in 2013, I was concerned about finding a local vet that was great in terms of competence and experience as well as customer service. Additionally, I was looking for the type of office where they could handle emergency medical situations as well. After some research and review, I found it with Dr. Greg at Lancaster Pet Clinic. The administrative staff are very courteous and they work with you to get an appointment that is convenient to your work and personal schedule.
If you have to leave a phone message, they are great about returning your calls. My feline passed away in January 21, 2014, and prior to her passing, they were great with respect to the care of my kitty. Prices are competitive and Dr. Greg is patient with respect to any questions you may have and listens to everything you have to say. The office sent a condolences card after my kitty had passed and I had spoken to Dr. Greg several times after her passing with lingering questions I had and Dr. Greg was always patient and spent quite a bit of time answering those lingering questions as I am in a period of mourning. I am a person with a tight financial budget and appreciate having a local vet with whom I can trust my pet care with. That to me is everything.

I would not recommend Lancaster Pet Clinic anymore! They love to take your money and are the highest priced vet! We had to put our Harley dog down and mind you in the care of this vet! We bought medicine each month to keep Harley happy and pain free! When it came to putting Harley down they insisted on a "wellness visit" really! They have lost our business! They really do not care about your pet only the money, very sad! Harley meant the world to us!
