We have been with Sears Vet Hospital for over 30 years. We have seen many changes through the years and yet never has our furbabies' care ever suffered. We have always found the staff to be caring and gentle. Dr Cheema is very thorough and does not hesitate to make recommendations for various options available. When our Hunter broke his neck, Dr Cheema gave us excellent advice and referred us to VCA All Care. Hunter runs like the wind now. Good place to go to. They work with you if you do not have the funds upfront, this is important when you want to give your pet the care they deserve. If you have a problem, let them know and they will do what they can to make sure you are satisfied. If you do not go to them, there is no way they can rectify a situation. I needed to get my cats vaccinated. When I called, Laura told me that they have vaccine clinic every day. When I got there they were taking care of an emergency but as soon as they got free they took care of us. They scheduled my cats for dental. Will see you next month. Read Less

Sears Veterinary Hospital is an absolutely amazing facility. Finding a good doctor is not easy. When my cat was unable to walk after she had gotten out, I got really scared. I called other vets but no body could take me in. Even though I came in first thing in the morning without an appointment, they got me in right away. The staff was comforting, knowledgeable, and helpful. Dr Cheema is a great vet who took his time with me and answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. My cat had a really bad Anal gland/sac abscess and the doctor at this vet performed an emergency surgery the same day and saved my cat's life, this was back in 2016.  Cost around $470 for everything including overnight stay.  Moved to Vegas since then... my cat was starting to develop similar symptoms...Anal gland abscess again but not as bad as it was in 2016.  Anyway.. I was quoted by a vet here in Vegas $1100 for a similar surgery procedure.  Luckily I didn't have to take the surgery route and antibiotics did the trick.  Wanted to let you know that Sears is very reasonably priced compared to other vets and they do good work too.  Would come here if I had the chance but no longer live in California. Always honest, always kind, sometimes you wait awhile even with an appointment but they're loving knowledgeable and kind staff means way more to me then the occasional long wait.   We've been bringing our dog to them for a long time and now that he's getting older I'm glad he's records and stuff are there cause they have it all there and together to reference back from at anytime. I would give them one star but Laura in the front tried to fix the situation. The doctors were pushing xrays and sedation on me and I kept telling them I want two xrays done not 4 for 250. They said it would cost 250 either way. Then I was about to walk out and the price changed to 175 for 2 xrays. Plus then the doctors didnt even have time to diagnose him sameday. What am i paying for again? Sears used to be the spot but it seems like the vets are moneyy hungry and don't care about the concerns. I do appreciate the kindness from the staff up front but the doctors need to chill out by not pushing people into things they don't want to do. I already have enough anxiety today dealing with my baby being hurt so this will probably be the last time we show up here. Read Less

Our dog katelyn walks in and does not fear the people that care for her.  We feel that our dog is being treated as a special customer even though there are many animals that come through the clinic.  Since our dog remains healthy even though its had a number of health issues, its only because of the the doctor and  staff members that she is a happy playful 6 year old dog.  Our thanks. Once I got home I contacted sears vet and explained what was going on not only were they understanding and compassionate but they also still honored the free shelter exam. In my opinion, this vet definitely has the almighty dollar in mind. Don't get me wrong, I don't begrudge any business making a profit, but within limits. They wanted me to bring my kittens in three times for deworming and I found another highly respected vet in Palmdale who said the three visits were not necessary as the medication can be administered at home (no need to pay for two additional office visits). Came for harle to get his shots and was in and out in about 30 min. Like the fact they took us in to a private room that made it so much better for harle. Also got the chip in plant and some pet tabs while I was there. Much more informative than other places that seem to want to charge per question. Great place Read Less

A second experience with Sears Veterinary Hospital for my pug Iris. A thorough exam, medication given, next visit in a week, and already she is doing so much better. Dr. Cheema is patient and kind and the animals seem to sense they are safe and secure there. The staff is pleasant and helpful, the facilities clean, you can't help but feel your pet is being cared for by the best. The staff also is patient and works with the pet's "parents" who seem to be more nervous than the pets themselves. The best vet there is. Read Less

This was our first visit, and we were quite impressed. The clinic looked and smelled clean, staff was friendly and helpful. We brought our 3 newly adopted kitties for physical exams. Dr Cheema reviewed the histories we brought from the rescue org - including the 2-page report from an eye specialist - before coming into the exam room. His exams were thorough, and he identified several issues while answering our many questions. I loved how he interacted with the kitties, and they responded favorably to him. My pets, Chewy Belle and Lola, love Dr. Cheema and all the staff at Sears Veterinary Hospital. Although we visit more than I would like due to pet illnesses and injuries, everyone there make us feel right at home. They all know Chewy is there as soon as we walk in! She announces herself and proceeds to greet all the staff. I can't imagine receiving better care for my pets anywhere. Sears Veterinary Hospital was very good to my babies (Dolce and Sugar) when they were not feeling well. Sugar ended up needing surgery and the doctor and staff made my experience less stressful when I had to leave Sugar in their hands. The staff are great and the doctor is awesome. Sears staff are the best! I drive 45 mins each way to take my babies there. They are compassionate, kind and professional. Doctors are awesome. We love this place, so does Jack our 12 y/o toy poodle. The staff is top notch & always have time to answer any questions. Our old vet said he had alergies, Dr. Cheema did many more tests, and confirmed our fears that his trachea was collapsing though sad news this is common in small breeds & he has caught it in time to help keep our little man with us and without the pan he was livng with. He diagnosed his arthrits & changed his diet to help him lose weight. All this has led to a much more active little man. Dont hesitate to take your pets here. Read Less

I brought my dog in after he was attacked on the street by a loose dog. I left unsure about the services but am now writing a review after visiting another clinic. The vet we saw at Sears Vet hospital was combative in her approach and didn't instill a sense of confidence that what they were going to do was in the best interest of my dog. From my experience that is what is required to create and sustain a successful client relationship, especially when it comes to our most valued members of our family. It is possible that it was just an off day but really isn't an excuse. I am writing this review after just receiving a follow up call from our new vet, something Sears couldn't be bothered to do. This was a follow-up call for a unlikely sprained paw (we prefer to be safe than sorry - which is why we took him to the new clinic). It didn't occur to the staff at Sears to follow-up even after trying to prescribe unnecessary opiates and treating my dog for a bite and lacerations. It should be standard operating procedure for a follow-up on a patient but not at Sears (or at least in my experience). Not surprising though considering the front desk staff were not very attentive and as a new client, I shouldn't have to greet you and ask you how your day is before we are acknowledged. I could accept poor customer service in lieu of great vet care but neither were the case. I went to Sears as the reviews were great but our experience was completely different from what is posted by everyone else. Good luck.Read Less

I love coming here. The doctors and staff are always so friendly. They have always been able to fit me and my three dogs in. We get check-ups, emergency services on a last minute notice, and shots here. The dogs also don't seem so stressed like when we go to other places. I would highly recommend them. Read Less

As we have gotten to know Dr. Cheema and his staff, we can not say enough great things about them. The care, expertise, and respect for us and our animals is something we don't find very often any more. The entire staff cares about the animals in their care. Dr. Cheema is the best, and the staff are caring and helpful. Have been bringing our pets to Sears since we moved to the Antelope Valley 4 years ago. We especially appreciate the phone calls to our home that Dr. Cheema makes to follow up on a pet with a 'condition'. He really gets attached to some of the pets, and asks for them by name if he doesn't see them in a particular visit! (we have 8 so that in itself is a feat!).
