Livermore Family Pet Hospital

Livermore, California
General Info
Livermore Family Pet Hospital offers veterinary assistance in Livermore by implementing the timing model. It considers that behavior advances with age and particular California stressors, which affect pets more as they grow. Healthcare visits focus on understanding the pet’s lifestyle and behaviors, such as any noticeable appetite changes, sleep patterns, socialization tendencies, gait, activity levels, and emotional states. The procedure also covers the body’s weight and joints’ flexibility, heart activity, and temperature reaction. Tracking also extends to the milestones for spaying and neutering, puberty, adult weight stabilization, and senior onset. Additionally, breed-specific concerns or weather-related issues need monitoring beyond basic safety aspects. The Livermore Family Pet Hospital considers a wide range of services, from additional diagnostic procedures and vaccinations to dental care and pain/mobility coaching, as well as pet nutrition advice and parasite control. The frequency and intensity of the service determine: age, mobility, and weather conditions in the area (spring allergies, summer heat, and winter inflammation). Planning may entail schedules that target teenage animal stages, adult health maintenance or early geriatric interventions. Owners receive the records and get future targets based on other aspects of pace. Examples are families keeping track of weight thresholds and adjusting the recheck timelines during colder months and using stress-monitoring apps for aging animals. Busy homes, senior pets, and multi-pet households can sync flexible scheduling via remote follow-ups for staggered timelines. Livermore Family Pet Hospital provides dependable, personalized wellness planning services to pet owners throughout Livermore and California by tailoring them to the pet’s age, activity, and seasonal patterns. The team provides specialized services, including: Clients consistently commend the practice for its commitment and the way it treats pets as individuals. Whether it is a regular examination or an advanced surgical procedure, your pet will receive the best possible care in a comfortable and friendly setting.

First visit to LVH with GSD Gunnar who was suffering from an open wound.  MD Moore and her staff were professional and confident.  MD Moore quickly provided a diagnosis of an embedded foxtail as well as a treatment/cost sheet.  There was ZERO pressure from them as to what treatments to follow through with, just good advice on what they thought needed to be done.  MD Moore estimated $50 to probe the wound for the foxtail.  She found it so quickly that she only charged $25!Very please with all the staff and MD Moore. So I took my mastiff here because he wasn't feeling good and lost 40 lbs. they took x rays did a full check up and couldn't come up with anything and gave me pain meds. They charged me over 900$ for this. My dog was in extreme pain and I took him to UC Davis two weeks later to find out he had cancer. Then I had to put my best friend down. He suffered for an extra couple weeks because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with him and I spent over 900$ for nothing. If I ever get another dog I would not take him here. They should have been able to find out he had cancer or sent me to a specialist to figure it out. My boy suffered and I wasted time and money here. Don't recommend. Read Less
