Animal Hospital

Lodi, California
General Info
Posture and micro-movements receive primary focus at Animal Hospital in Lodi. Every detail becomes a cue within this care model whether it's a tail that lowers when calm or a step back that signals reset. The session commences with spatial reading where observers note how pets anchor their weight while monitoring the frequency of their eye movements and assessing whether their tails move with stability or show hesitation. Staff members adjust their positions according to these readings by standing diagonally when direct approaches cause tension and using pauses instead of vocal cues when animals become overly attentive. The initial tools remain stationary within pet view where they occupy visible space without motion, enabling pets to visually adjust to their presence before any interaction starts. The Animal Hospital delivers integrative diagnostics along with surgical consultations while offering pain tracking services and sensory response care combined with structured mobility rehabilitation programs. Each treatment adapts in real time. When pets display flattened postures or redirect their gaze sessions revert to anchoring techniques which may involve patterned movements or rhythmic steps to restore calm. Owners receive aftercare plans that emphasize visual and tactile pacing: how to extend hands in side arcs, when to add movement contrast, and how to guide reentry into routines with visual anchors. This guarantees that after-visit actions remain stable without unnecessary spikes while domestic care practices maintain their regular flow. Animal Hospital delivers a unique adaptive interaction experience through silent signals and responsive pacing to families in Lodi and pet owners across California.

I was visiting Lodi with my dog last weekend. He had an accident and caught a claw( nail) and it pulled it out completely. We couldn't get it to stop bleeding so we went here. First the vet tech gets 5 stars , we had called , she came out and got him a compression bandage to stop the bleeding. The love ends there. After waiting we saw the vet. She looked at it. She did not sedate him, went and got the tech to hold him down on the table, then gave a shot of lidocaine to numb his foot which hurt him, then proceeded to trim something, when my dog screamed in pain- oops, she said," I didn't wait long enough." All the while he was being held down- I felt so horrible for him. Then, it got bandaged up, we asked about after care, she said, just take the bandage off in 48 hours if it was still on and put a baby bootie on it. I asked what to do if it started bleeding, she said, oh here's some extra powder you can put that on it. She seemed to resent any questions we tried to ask. She acted like this was no big deal. No other instructions. I took him home to his regular vet on Monday, he was properly treated. My dog was so traumatized by the Lodi visit he was very anxious, he was sedated so his foot could be examined. Skin and nail had to be cut back or the Dr. said it couldn't really heal and would be prone to infection. the wound was washed and dressed. It wasn't washed off at the Lodi vet. My vet is professional, but shook his head when I asked him about the previous treatment. The vet had us make a followup appt for two days to remove his new bandages . He gave Bubba a cone to keep him from chewing his foot. I felt as though the Animal Hospital vet was in a hurry to get to lunch at 12:00. My dog was treated inhumanely, we were treated rudely and there was no mention of followup. I will not be ever going back there again. Read Less

Our family was on vacation nearby and one of our pugs started getting really sick.  We made an unscheduled visit to Dr. Stoops, who did a very thorough exam and gave us a clear idea of what our options were and what her recommendation was.  We took her advice to have some blood work done and it turned out that something really was seriously wrong with our dog and that she needed extensive work.  We wound up cutting our vacation short and rushing home.  Our home vet complimented Dr. Stoops on the thoroughness of her exam and the professional job she did with the notes/chart - turned out that was a huge help in continuing the care that Dr. Stoops had started.   It was a difficult decision to make to cut short a vacation that we had been planning and looking forward to for months, but Dr. Stoops gave us the information and counsel we needed to make that tough call.  Our pug is on the mend now and we have Dr. Stoops to thank for that.
