Dr Rhee and his staff are the best I've experienced in my 46 years of managing the veterinary treatment of my animals. The Dr. instills trust in even the most terror-stricken of his small patients, regardless of species; and he and his staff secured for my beloved chocolate Cocker Tennyson the longest ever survival of AHA, more than seven years. My 13-year-old shorthair Alma-Tadema continues to thrive after four years with pancreatitis. In my eighteen years experience with the Eagle Glen clinic, the practice has grown, building a new facility, adding new technologies and advancing the expertise and skills of its staff, only one of whom has departed during my association. Having relocated two years after beginning services from Eagle Glen, I and the many I've referred don't hesitate to travel 18 miles or more for their services, which I've continued to do regularly over the last sixteen years. Some I've referred go so far as to speak of Dr. Rhee as The Whisperer for his uncanny ability to calm and to diagnose difficult and mysterious presentations. Finally, Eagle Glen's excellent services are accompanied by lower than standard rates. I wish the humans in my family received medical services as consistently fine. Read Less

If you want your pet have adequate care (I'm not even saying "good" or even "great" care) STAY AWAY FROM DR. RHEE. A few years back I brought my beloved chihuahua girl to him, because she was not eating. Four days later at the clinic, Dr. Rhee decided that his golf tournament with friends was more important than to take care of his furry patients and he left the clinic at 3pm(!) After he'd left, she threw up a huge swatch of cotton and the straining and wretching caused her intestine to rupture and sepsis or blood poisoning set in: body temperature rises, heart rate increases etc. If Dr. Rhee would've stayed on the premises at least until the clinic's official closing hours and would've checked on her periodically, she would not have had to die!!!! But nobody who knew what to do or how to check on her stayed around to watch over my baby! She died that night, alone.... from neglect!!!!! Her death was completely preventable. I find Dr. Rhee's actions neglectful, unethical and cold hearted. If you truly care for your pet, STAY AWAY. All I got was a phone call the next morning at 8am that my puppy had died. Imagine, you drop her off and besides not eating she's fine and the next thing you know she's gone!!! I'm still traumatized from that event and am to this day afraid to leave any of my pets overnight at a vet and any surgery brings up that horrible time Dr. Rhee had me go through. STAY AWAY, if you truly have the well-being of your pet at heart! Read Less

I have never met such an amazing vet in my life. He is kind, explains everything to me, and is the best priced vet I have been to. I am very picky about cleanliness of a vet office and it is very clean but welcoming at the same time. I can tell he genuinely cares about Roxy and is understanding of my financial limitations. We've been taking our dogs to Dr. Rhee for years. He has a great manner with them and doesn't push unnecessary testing/treatments. For example, when my older dog developed a strange lump on his leg, he pulled some with a needle to inspect for cancer rather than a full biopsy and determined it was a fatty lump and of no concern. EXCELLENT VET me and my girlfriend have a 2 year old terrier mix puppy named Chikis. After falling from a bunk bed and breaking her two front legs we didnt know what to do. We contacted like 15 different vets and no one even seem to care about helping us unless we had like $5,000 in our pocket, seemed only interested in our money, but as soon as we contacted Dr. Rhee's vet clinic he was the only person whiling to help us with our dogs surgery. We made an agreement, and in like about 5 month's our dog Chikis was up and running like if nothing had ever happend to her front legs. I can honestly say that if it was for Dr. Rhee and his staff we wouldnt had had our wonderful dog with us right now. Excelent staff as well everyone is professional and friendly makes people feel welcome. SPECIAL THANKS TO DR. RHEE, LISA, AND THE REST OF HIS WONDERFUL STAFF. Read Less

After discussing with the doctor that I preferred not to treat my 4-month puppy with medications for a light skin rash, he proceeded to give him a "steroid" shot to help the itching, then prescribed steroid pills, and gave me a steroid topical spray to use on him that had never been tested on dogs under 1 year of age. The spray bottle also mentioned not to spray on pregnant mothers because of stillborn possibilities and to always wear gloves when spraying on dog! What kind of poison did he prescribe! Plus, you don't give steroid medications to puppies! Got my money back the following day. So I warn others to find a doctor who will LISTEN to your concerns and not just poison your dog and pillage you of money.... By the way, I changed my dogs brand of food and the rash went away. I brought my puppy here for the first time b/c she had an ear infection. Dr Ghee told me he need to put her under general anesthesia which costs $400!!! For an ear infection! In order to ""flush"" out her ears. Well luckily for me I had a back-up vet which is out of town so I called him and he said that's rediculous! Unless your dog is out of control - which my pup is not she is very calm. So I told Ghee to clean out her ears, remove the hair and give me drops. He made me feel like I was a terrible mother for not forking over the big bucks. So a week later my puppy's ears were not any better. So I took the journey to my long trusted vet out of town and he said the medicine I was given only helps one part of the infection. Anyhow he prescibed a new drop med and now my dog is fine. I feel Dr Ghee gave me medicine that wouldn't really help my dog in hopes that I'd break down and come back for the expensive anesthesia proceedure. Better know your stuff if bring your pet here or be a millionaire to pay for the aggressive and expensive recommendations he makes. I will never go back! Read Less

Dr. Rhee listen as I described my cats symptoms. After the blood test & x rays Dr. Rhee was able to determine the problem. He gave her the 1st rounds of med's, I told her back the next day for a 2nd round & was sent home with med's. It's been five days & my cat is doing amazing. Almost back to her sassy self. Read Less

Dr. Rhee and his staff are very compassionate people. I admire their kindness and professionalism . When I go ther with my pets. I feel I am going to an uncle and he treats my pets like it is his own. I really like his demeanor. Very kind Dr. And he is very reasonable to when he charges. I just brought my sick dog and he said she is very sick and advise that she needs to be put to sleep. Usually it is hard for me to accept but with him I feel it is the right thing to do at that moment. Till today I don't regret my decision. Thanks to Dr. Rhee compassion. Read Less

I have been bringing my 12 year old rottie here since we moved to LA over a year ago. She has a lot of health issues that I have been dealing with her entire life. I can not recommend this office enough and I tell every person I meet that he is the best.Read Less

I've almost always been able to make a same day appointment and we've been very happy with our care there. Read Less

It makes me think other vets have written those bad reviews! Dr. Rhee may not be the least expensive, but he is a great vet. I trust him with all my animals and he's so very kind and compassionate. I've seen him so very distressed when one of his patients doesn't make it. Read Less

Read Less

Well, I'm shocked to hear all the negative reviews on Eagle Glen Vet. I've been taking my dogs here for the past 13 years and would never go anywhere else! The staff is respectful and reasonable, and Dr. Rhee is very knowledgeable vet! And I trust him with my dog's life! To emphasize, since I got my pup I've been going to him until the last visit I went to him, I hope he stays in business for many years to come. Also he's been in business since 1987, the man must be doing something right.

But did he mention that? Nope...Read Less

Read Less
