I called this Friday morning February 16 at 9 AM to make an appointment for my dog, I was told there were no appointments available until Tuesday of next week. While running my errands I drove by the clinic there was one car in the parking lot and no dogs in the clinic. I asked if there was a veterinarian present they told me yes, I asked why could I not get an appointment this morning. The girl at the desk responded we have veterinarians here 24 hours a day but I would h...ave to come in as an emergency walk in patient. I asked why if there are no animals there to be treated why I couldn't get an appointment she told me that's just the way it is. I asked if I would have to pay additional for an emergency walk in visit, she told me yes. We have been going to Chatoak/Pet Medical Center for over 20 years. We trust them with our dogs health and treatment. Our doctor, Dr. Linda Jackson, is one of the most caring and attentive vets we have ever had. We can recommend this vet center highly. Dr. Binder saved my dogs life, full stop. My senior dog Mena ruptured her chordae tendinease. Leaving her mitral valve in her heart unable to function. Dr Binder recognized immediately what was going on and Mena was rushed into oxygen and given diuretics. It is an extremely rare event and it is a miracle that she survived the event at all. From the horrible car accident my puppy survived from to getting neutered, Dr. Morshead and Dr. Florio have been nothing but wonderful! Rufus (my pup) and I have been treated like family and I have always felt comfortable leaving Rufus there overnight knowing he was in good care. Dr. Morshead did an amazing job on the hip surgery that you can't even tell that Rufus was injured and had surgery. I know for a fact that Rufus will be in good hands at Chatoak! ❤️ Read Less

Chatoak-Pet medical center was highly recommended by a trusted friend in my community. From the first visit to my most recent, I have felt very happy with the care my Bluebell(rescue chihuahua mix) has received. Staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. Dr. Belding and Dr.Jackson have always been so incredible. They are kind, educated, and understanding. They really do care, listen and are always open to hearing any questions or concerns about Bluebell. I completely trust Dr.Belding and Dr. Jackson. I would absolutely recommend Chatoak pet medical center to anyone who is looking for a Vet they can feel comfortable with. Yes, I actually drive at least 30 minutes each way to get to the clinic, but when it comes to Bluebell, I will do it gladly. Almost 2 years ago my Rottweiler Bella, her stomach flipped over when I brought her and we had minutes to save her from dying. My husband and I have been taking our pets to Pet Medical Center Chatoak for almost 15 years. On July 5th, 2016 I brought my cat in. My vet was there that day but not available. Coming to Chat Oak for almost 25 years and I can't be more impressed with them. Great doctors, great staff and nice environment. When my doggie came down with diabetes they referred me to WLA VCA because it was to complex for them. They kept him going for another three years. Don't think other vets would have done the same. Dr Morsehead was fantastic with our dog's knee surgery nearly a year ago. Duke, who was 5, was well taken care of the entire time and follow-up as well. The staff was friendly, and although this surgery is not cheap, anywhere you go, Dr. Morsehead is one of the best for this TPLO Surgery. Thank you! Read Less

I have been taking my cat here for the past 4 or 5 years. I have always had a positive experience with the doctors and staff. On my last visit, there was a family who had to put their pet down. The staff showed caring by offering the family a room for privacy, and late when the family left (still in tears), the receptionist offered her condolences. I have used a few different doctors at Chat Oak. They have always been great, but my favorite doctor is Linda Jackson. Everyone has their own personality, and I just click with her. I have taken a few pets here for various treatment and have been very pleased with the care. Not at all happy to learn the spaying of my 37#, 9 month old pup will be $670. This is higher than other rates I have been quoted. Feeling disappointed especially when I was originally told back in the fall it would around $400 (with her same weight range). Read Less

Terrible customer service from the front office staff. I understand this is due to a new(er) office adminstrator. The veterinarian herself was very caring and attentive to my pet, but I will not go back to a place whose front office staff treats their customers like crap. Yes, it matters THAT MUCH.Read Less
