Vca

Los Angeles, California
General Info
Vca in Los Angeles delivers veterinary support to California pet owners by aligning guidance with household rhythms pet behaviors and long-term wellness progressions. Initial visits focus on comfort by allowing pets to settle while they explore the space and express their reactions at their own pace. Before initiating any physical examination the veterinary team observes subtle cues such as eye movements, tail positioning, gait changes, and pressure sensitivity. Physical examinations encompass joint tracking hydration analysis weight monitoring gum tone assessment coat texture evaluation and thermal regulation patterns. Through the examination of morning routines combined with sleep cycles and vocal tendencies alongside recent behavioral deviations owners participate in the monitoring process. Vca provides treatment plans for acute medical conditions, surgical interventions, seasonal health adjustments, and chronic condition management. Support includes lab testing imaging referrals infection prevention senior animal protocols and emotionally-informed recovery checklists. The arrangement of plans occurs in a deliberate sequence to minimize stress while keeping the owner informed without causing overwhelm particularly for those handling multiple pets or intricate diagnoses. Communication is central. After every visit detailed notes are dispatched while follow-up sessions depend on pet adjustment progress instead of fixed calendar prompts. The training process involves teaching owners to detect both subtle regression indicators and signals of readiness for advancement. Long-term care incorporates methods of pacing choice-based scheduling and reassurance strategies. Vca delivers veterinary services throughout Los Angeles and California by focusing on animal behaviors and family input which leads to consistently informed stable and compassionate care plans from beginning to end.

The Headquarter should take a look at what did the VCA in Weymouth, MA did to me and my family. They killed our baby bird and I am asking to speak to someone who CARE about animals; someone who don't pretend that VCA is here to help and not make animals suffer. I will keep posting and keep updating everyone who keep asking about my baby on all of my social media platforms. Thank you all for the emails that I have been getting from people that I don't know but heard about my story. Need to check all the VCA hospitals who fabricates on records and about the puppy health. I brought my puppy from Just Puppies in Rockville and the puppy was ill after I purchase him from Just Puppies. VCA in Rockville don't care about the puppy only about the money and visit, a bunch of liars. See the trick is give vaccines charge customers high prices and worry about the puppy illness later so I can be charged by the VCA veterinarian $80 visit while VCA still get paid from Just Puppies. A bunch of corruptive businesses Just Puppies and VCA in Rockville. So they try to get the contract together so customers from Just Puppies in Rockville could connect with VCA in Rockville to deceive customers . I called VCA in Rockville that my puppy was sick and I didn't recieve any phone call at all. Then VCA lied on a visit when my puppy still have a kettle cough and the receptiionist said the veterinarian didn't write it down in the chart. As I am disabled I want to let everyone know that their are individuals who try to get over on the vulnerable community for their benefit that is VCA. The receptitionist try to argue with me over the phone so I continue services to pay over $200 per visit or try to force me to get VCA pet insurance ! I paid $65 for stool and my puppy have parasites for about month! I brung the stool last week I heard nothing! All about the money! While petco and Pet smart does the same vaccines but with reasonable price. A bunch of immoral, dishonest and deceptive people need investigated and sued. They may be keeping my puppy sick to get the money that is what VCA in Rockville is all about. They lie on their records and fabricate on visits. They try to kill my puupy who is 4 months old scheduling vaccinations a week a part, just to make money. I went to another vet they inform me not to do it.They left my dog sick with Kettle cough and parasites. The hospital manager in Rockville is dishonest and has no intergrity, she favors certain classifications and very unethical. Read Less

I met with a traveling VCA vet as all the normal Dr.'s in this office were out of town or on maternity. She left the room and a very nice vet tech named Sara came in to go over all the numbers with me. This is where it got difficult. They wanted me to buy a package for approx. $1500 and said it would actually save me money. Then there were all kinds of other additional costs to find out if my dog needed surgery. I finally agreed to x-rays and bloodwork which they performed. However, I was told that the doctor would call me the following day with results. I never received a call, have left 2 voice messages with the reception staff who promised the doctor would call me. Then, after still not hearing back, I've spent the last hour and half trying to get through to their office. No answer. I get caught in a phone tree holding for someone to pick up. After several minutes I am repeatedly told that my call will not go through. Now 5 hours later it's closing time. I even called VCA corporate and they didn't answer either. Looks like thanks to them I have spent nearly $600 for results no one cares to give to me. There is that, and I will now have to spend all weekend worrying about my dogs health. Thanks VCA Read Less

I think VCA is a huge racket!!! Especially the one in Irving, Texas. The people they hire to answer the phones and greet customers are completely incompetent. You can spend your life savings to save your pet's life and all their worried about is getting more money!!!!! In fact, that is exactly how I was greeted the evening I was picking up my sick pet. There were two young girls that didn't even speak the words hello. The first thing out of their mouth was about the almighty dollar, and what I still owed them. I mean really???? I was only given 2 days of liquids after spending $6k for a very sick dog. I called to ask about that and they said he would have to be brought back in to be rechecked. I work for a living and don't have time to run clear across town to pick fluids at their convenience. So in other words, it was and is a ploy to get you back in there to spend more money. His next scheduled appointment is not until Monday so they expected me to run back up there for more fluids or be rechecked. Again more $$$$$$$$. There are many more things that I don't have the time or energy to explain about the level of service you DON'T get. Unbelievable! I have made it 50 years without writing a review on anyone however, this definitely called for one. I don't recommend VCA for anything!!!!!!! Read Less

I had an awful experience at the Chicago office in Edgewater. I left a message for headquarters customer complaints *not shocked they have that division* I would like someone to call me back at their earliest opportunity to discuss the TERRIBLE experience with Dr. Cornelius (who doesn't even work for your corporation. He was a visiting vet) He did not introduce himself. He did not acknowledge the dog just told me to put her on the table. He showed no affection just started listening to her heart and BLUNTLY said "he has a heart murmur" first off, my dog is a she...did you even read the paper? This made me extremely upset the way he handled this. Not only was my heart broken but the lack of compassion was astounding. I pointed out a cyst and he laughed and said that was "the least of her problems." He handled my NINE YEAR OLD dog roughly. All he kept telling me was how expensive this would be. I felt like he did not care about my dog at all just wanted my money. I called and spoke to the office manager, to her credit, I was out of hand and very unprofessional because I was so upset. She did an excellent job of calming me down and speaking professionally. I'm sure she has had lots of practice. I want my money back from this place. My dog has been timid and scared all night and even today winces when I go to pet her. I was treated like a a child and because of my age and I felt extremely discriminated against, profiled and judged because all this "doctor" was talking about was money! He acted like I couldn't afford his "services". All i wanted to do was take my dog to a vet to get the most aggressive treatment plan to make sure the end of her life was comfortable. After talking to the manager I requested to speak with the owner and was declined saying there was no "owner" they are a corporation. I still want to talk to someone higher up to discuss this issue and come to a resolution. Her response was " He was a "fill in" (something along those lines) he is not an actual employee. This made me 10 times more upset. I want my money refunded for the emotional distress that both me and my dog endured. Read Less
