If you value your pets' care and the relationship you have with the people who provide care to your pets I highly recommend the Doctors and staff at El Gato Veterinary Hospital in Los Gatos.
During my first visit to El Gato, I first met with a Vet Tech and then the Veterinarian Dr. Bibb to discuss the background and medical history of my two cats, and any current or ongoing issues. One of the cats had a recurring digestive issue that no other Veterinarian seemed able to properly diagnose and no antibiotic, special diet or medication seemed to resolve. Dr. Bibb prescribed another medication for her condition and briefly explained why she believed it would help. In less than a couple of weeks, for the first time in several years the condition had finally become better thanks to the experienced and knowledgeable Veterinarian. At El Gato I am told what to expect with any treatment, instructed when and how to administer any medications for my animals, the process of any procedure is always explained to me in terms so that I understand. My questions are answered. If there are options for treatment the outcome, costs and follow up are discussed.
I do not have insurance for my pets but I think the front office staff, when possible, is happy to assist you in completing your claim forms.
My experience with the staff at El Gato Veterinary Hospital is that they are attentive to the needs of my pets and my needs as the pet owner and the person paying for the care. Their prices seem fair and, in my experience, more than competitive particularly for the level of experienced care, knowledgeable treatment and compassionate service. The entire Staff is always friendly and professional, the environment is always sanitary, calm, and welcoming which is especially great if you have a pet that does not like to be away from her/his home.
Sometimes El Gato can be busy with people and their pets seeking medical care but things never seem hectic. If I call or email with any questions or concerns I always receive a response no matter what my question or concern may be.
I appreciate and value their on-site state of the art equipment, personal attention, and care along with the convenience of their digital records system for your pet's medical records, vaccination reminders, the ability to schedule appointments, automated appointment reminders, and other conveniences that enhance the care for animals .
If you are not delighted with your pets' current Veterinary Care, are new to the area, or in the process of getting a new pet and need to find a Veterinary Hospital that can provide the proper care for you and your pet I urge you to give El Gato in Los Gatos a call.
If your pets' care and the relationship that you have with the people who provide care to your pets is important to you, I highly recommend the Doctors and staff at El Gato Veterinary Hospital.
I am grateful for all the Doctors and staff at El Gato have done, it has made an extremely positive difference in the lives of my cats and my own.

Dr. Bibb and her staff are amazing. I'm so grateful to them. We recently rescued a 4 week old kitten and they were so helpful with the early days of taking care of him. He's now a healthy 3 month old. Yesterday we made the difficult decision to put down our 22 year old cat, Alley. Dr. Bibb was so compassionate during the whole process. I was a complete mess and everyone in the office was comforting and understanding. Thank you for your caring and kindness during a difficult period.

One of my pets also had an emergency and sliced his paw she got him in same day and helped discuss treatment options that helped make me and my dog better better.

El Gato Veterinary Hospital's caring, professional, and dedicated staff makes going to the vet, an often stressful situation for pet and human alike, a positive and worthwhile experience. We've taken our cat and our dog there many times and have always received excellent care from both Dr. Bibb and Dr. Josling. After our cat was diagnosed with cancer, we called and visited frequently (very frequently!) and everyone we worked with was always empathetic and supportive. It meant a lot to my husband and I that the staff truly cared about our cat's well being and made her quality of life the biggest priority. Thank you, El Gato, for being there for us in such a difficult time. Our dog and other cat will be visiting soon, I'm sure!

I cannot recommend El Gato Veterinary Hospital or Dr. Bibb highly enough. I came in because of an emergency situation with my puppy- which can obviously be incredibly overwhelming. I had a million questions and a million fears. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly especially toward my puppy who was visibly shaken and not behaving like himself because he was not feeling well.Dr. Bibb and the staff handled my puppy's care expertly and set up a comprehensive follow up program to get him on the mend. I'm incredibly grateful for everything they have done for me and for my puppy.

El Gato Vet Hospital is a local business that truly cares about your pet. I've been coming here at least twelve years and probably more (but you know, my brain is full). I have cats and they're never afraid to come to the vets. They don't like it, but they're not fearful. All the vet techs are gentle and clearly love working with animals. The veterinarians are professional and friendly. I've had two cats who had medical issues. I can't remember the one, but we gave her a pil...l a day for a year before she passed at the ripe age of 16. One of my current cats has diabetes and the staff were great in helping diagnose and dial in the correct dosage. She's a happy cat these days and acting like a kitten instead of a ten year old. We came here from a recommendation from our dear neighbor. We called in on a weekday to be seen the following weekend without any issues. Our appointment was with Dr. Bibb and we both couldn't have be...
We came here from a recommendation from our dear neighbor. We called in on a weekday to be seen the following weekend without any issues. Our appointment was with Dr. Bibb and we both couldn't have been more impressed with how knowledgeable she is. Our poor pup was diagnosed with having a Mast Cell Tumor. We were given invoices of how much things would cost and they were very hospitable in changing things up if we wanted to. Surgery was scheduled for Monday morning and both drop off and pick up was a breeze. They even called the next day to see how Zeus was doing. During our visit on a Saturday there was another client there that lives in San Francisco, I can see why they drive all the way down to El Gato Vet because they are simply amazing. Their office may not have all the frills of larger vets that I have been to but that far outweighs the genuine care you get for your pets here. We'll definitely continue to bring Zeus here for as long as we can. Big thanks to the entire staff at El Gato vet. 2016 Review #26

El Gato Vet and Dr. Bibb and all the staff are wonderful, kind and caring. We have been taking our dogs to El Gato Vet for over 10 years. They helped us say goodbye to our 8 year old Golden Retriever 7 years ago and their compassion was so genuine. Now for the past 7 years they have taken care of our Golden Retriever Ruby. As long as El Gato Vet and Dr. Bibb are here I will be taking my dogs to their loving care.

El Gato is highly, highly recommended. We have been customers for over 15 years and they are absolutely amazing. When we first got our dog, he was hit by a car. They went to all lengths to help repair his hip and leg, and they helped us feel at ease. He is now very old and is experiencing nerve damage and hip problems. I know I can call them anytime with my many questions and they will be answered and he will be seen most always the day I call. We also have our two cats come and visit, and it's always a very warm welcome when we visit. I wouldn't consider El Gato a Vet, I would consider them family. Thank you for all you do!!!

The keep up with the new medicines, practices, and environmental needs for our pets. I have been an El Gato Vet customer for 25 + years and am now bringing my 3rd dog to the clinic. Dr. Bibb and the entire staff have always been most compassionate and kind as well as excellent in the care they provide. When my last dog was ill and at the end of his life I felt very supported. Dr. Bibb always returned my call the same day with advice and reassurance. I am forever grateful.

They have the same regards for my Cats as myself. the entire staff are all the same I would not consider letting anyone outside of El Gato near my Cats, I love each one of the 13 cats that I have taken to E/G for various reasons, over the 18 yrs.
I have complete trust in each every one of the folks at E/G, if you love the Cat & or Dog in your house & they need medical attention go only to El Gato, You will never regret it

I've had animals all my life and have been to many vets throughout my moves. I now have 2 labs who have been with El Gato Vet Hospital and Dr. Bibb since they were puppies. She is by far, the most attentive, friendly and caring vet I have experienced. The entire staff at El Gato are so caring and friendly I couldn't imagine taking my dogs anywhere else. I highly recommend El Gato!

They helped us say goodbye to our 8 year old Golden Retriever 7 years ago and their compassion was so genuine. Now for the past 7 years they have taken care of our Golden Retriever Ruby. As long as El Gato Vet and Dr. Bibb are here I will be taking my dogs to their loving care.

El Gato is highly, highly recommended. We have been customers for over 15 years and they are absolutely amazing. When we first got our dog, he was hit by a car. They went to all lengths to help repair his hip and leg, and they helped us feel at ease. He is now very old and is experiencing nerve damage and hip problems. I know I can call them anytime with my many questions and they will be answered and he will be seen most always the day I call. We also have our two cats come and visit, and it's always a very warm welcome when we visit. I wouldn't consider El Gato a Vet, I would consider them family. Thank you for all you do!!!

I have been an El Gato Vet customer for 25 + years and am now bringing my 3rd dog to the clinic. Dr. Bibb and the entire staff have always been most compassionate and kind as well as excellent in the care they provide. When my last dog was ill and at the end of his life I felt very supported. Dr. Bibb always returned my call the same day with advice and reassurance. I am forever grateful.

I have been a customer at El Gato Veterinary Hospital for eighteen years each of the doctors are the best professional people I have ever met. They have the same regards for my Cats as myself. the entire staff are all the same I would not consider letting anyone outside of El Gato near my Cats, I love each one of the 13 cats that I have taken to E/G for various reasons, over the 18 yrs.
I have complete trust in each every one of the folks at E/G, if you love the Cat & or Dog in your house & they need medical attention go only to El Gato, You will never regret it

I've had animals all my life and have been to many vets throughout my moves. I now have 2 labs who have been with El Gato Vet Hospital and Dr. Bibb since they were puppies. She is by far, the most attentive, friendly and caring vet I have experienced. The entire staff at El Gato are so caring and friendly I couldn't imagine taking my dogs anywhere else. I highly recommend El Gato!
