They don’t greet anyone and if you can finally get their attention away from their computers or talking to each other they don’t seem to understand even the simplest requests. They often making charting and billing errors. It’s a shame. Dr Lupo is good and this staff is going to drive away business

Had been taking my dogs here for a long time until one of the groomers cut one of my dogs' eye. The groomer and vet clinic are in the same building and we have been taking our dogs to him for longer than I can remember, possibly 6-7 years. Dr. Lupo at the Malibu Vet Clinic then proceeded to charge us 300$ dollars for the operation to fix my dogs eye that his own groomer caused. They are the same organization and you make your appointment for grooming by calling the Malibu Vet Clinic. What a shady thing to do to such loyal customers. We are taking our business elsewhere. Be sure to avoid Malibu Vet Clinic and "Refresh Pet Salon." They are trying to play it off line the groomer and clinic are separate organizations when our credit card statement says MALIBU VET CLINIC not refresh pet salon. They are in the same building and the "pet salon" which is brand new and not reviewed (probably recently created)... Which makes it even more suspicious.

Dr. Lupo is such a kind and caring doctor! He could not get a hold of me because I had changed my contact number and he was trying to reach me to give me lab results regarding my dog’s health. He drove to my house on a Friday night to hand deliver the medication because he was concerned that my dog needed it as soon as possible. Who does that anymore? My family was truly touched by this gesture and so appreciative of his kindness. Thank you Dr. Lupo! You are awesome!

I have a tiny female Chihuahua puppy who got spayed by Dr. Lupo. Dr. Lupo is one of the rare and few U.S. DVM's who can perform a ovary sparing spay (partial spay) procedure. I drove 100 miles ( round trip ) to take my puppy to Dr. Lupo to have him perform a ovary sparing spay on my dog. I am very grateful to have found Dr. Lupo, he has 20 years of experience in this field, knows what he is doing and truly loves animal's and his job. He is competent, confident, calm, caring and professional. He did a excellent job spaying my dog. I highly recommend Dr. Lupo, he is fantastic.

This place is amazing. My dog got attacked on the beach by a pitbull and this was the nearest clinic. I brought her in and within 5 minutes Dr. Lupo was explaining to me the procedure she needed. I was able to pick her up sooner than expected and now she's at home resting. He did an amazing job and I don't think I could have found a better vet. Great place. Really recommend it.

My entire family including our animals adore Dr.Lupo. My two babies Rebel and Harley have been patients of his for many years. When we had to put our German Shepard down two years ago, Dr. Lupo came to our house, with the family all there he helped us say goodbye to a beloved family member . He had tears in his eyes , he stayed for a while as we were all very sad. It's rare to find a doctor these days that is so dedicated . The staff is always so friendly and their love of animals show through. Five stars from the Cattanese family!

I found about this Refresh Dog Spa (Inside Malibu Vet Clinic) after a recommendation. My dog looks and smell fantastic after the pampering day! When I arrived the reception woman was busy and it took a little bit to check in, but shortly, Dr Lupo (who is very nice!) came out, held my dog and helped me out which I really appreciated. The thing i was surprised with was that every dog groomer I have seen were females (I was hoping that my dog had some pretty girl groom him as he is a major ladies man..Just kidding!!) But the muscly tattooed guys who groomed cashew did an excellent job, and I can tell that they treated him well, so I'm happy with the outcome :)The total cost is $65, not inexpensive, but the quality is good and I think they used high quality products.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Fransen for over 20 years. She is warm, compassionate, caring, and an extremely good veterinarian. She uses both traditional and holistic approaches where appropriate, and my pets -- some of which have had some pretty interesting (take that to mean really odd) health problems - have thrived under her care. I do not know what that person who wrote such a negative reviews has against her (and would not be surprised if it were the same person who wrote both, since they read rather similarly), but I think anyone who knows Dr. Fransen can see right through that attack. Truly, if she ever left the area, I would not know where to take my pets.

Dr. Lupo is the best! I have a skittish rescue, but he is understanding and sweet with her. The office is so wonderful and clean! They also sell treats, dog food, and other neat accessories! Can't recommend enough! Best vet I have ever been to!

I have a tiny female Chihuahua puppy who got spayed by Dr. Lupo. Dr. Lupo is one of the rare and few U.S. DVM's who can perform a ovary sparing spay (partial spay) procedure. I drove 100 miles ( round trip ) to take my puppy to Dr. Lupo to have him perform a ovary sparing spay on my dog. I am very grateful to have found Dr. Lupo, he has 20 years of experience in this field, knows what he is doing and truly loves animal's and his job. He is competent, confident, calm, caring and professional. He did a excellent job spaying my dog. I highly recommend Dr. Lupo, he is fantastic.

My dog had been limping so we went to Dr. Lupo yesterday. Amazing staff, caring and professional. This place is amazing. My dog got attacked on the beach by a pitbull and this was the nearest clinic. I brought her in and within 5 minutes Dr. Lupo was explaining to me the procedure she needed. I was able to pick her up sooner than expected and now she's at home resting. He did an amazing job and I don't think I could have found a better vet. Great place. Really recommend it.

Dr. Lupo is the best vet I've ever come across in 20 years of having pets. He's honest, kind, knowledgable and never prescribes extra treatments to get more money out of, like, sadly, most other vets....

My entire family including our animals adore Dr.Lupo. My two babies Rebel and Harley have been patients of his for many years. When we had to put our German Shepard down two years ago, Dr. Lupo came to our house, with the family all there he helped us say goodbye to a beloved family member . He had tears in his eyes , he stayed for a while as we were all very sad. It's rare to find a doctor these days that is so dedicated . The staff is always so friendly and their love of animals show through. Five stars from the Cattanese family!

I found about this Refresh Dog Spa (Inside Malibu Vet Clinic) after a recommendation. My dog looks and smell fantastic after the pampering day! When I arrived the reception woman was busy and it took a little bit to check in, but shortly, Dr Lupo (who is very nice!) came out, held my dog and helped me out which I really appreciated. The thing i was surprised with was that every dog groomer I have seen were females (I was hoping that my dog had some pretty girl groom him as he is a major ladies man..Just kidding!!) But the muscly tattooed guys who groomed cashew did an excellent job, and I can tell that they treated him well, so I'm happy with the outcome :)The total cost is $65, not inexpensive, but the quality is good and I think they used high quality products.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Fransen for over 20 years. She is warm, compassionate, caring, and an extremely good veterinarian. She uses both traditional and holistic approaches where appropriate, and my pets -- some of which have had some pretty interesting (take that to mean really odd) health problems - have thrived under her care. I do not know what that person who wrote such a negative reviews has against her (and would not be surprised if it were the same person who wrote both, since they read rather similarly), but I think anyone who knows Dr. Fransen can see right through that attack. Truly, if she ever left the area, I would not know where to take my pets.
