I just moved here from NJ about 9 months ago. I have taken in a stray kitty that seemed to have a respiratory infection.. I took her to this vet after reading the reviews. I have been going to animal clinic for years and years and have never had a bad experience. Recently they have gotten another doctor there I believe his name was Dr. Manhas. He's very thorough with his exams and seemed to help me with any questions I had. I loved that I didn't feel rushed. I was just there for puppy vaccines for our new furbaby and I had gotten shots, full exam, and all my "new puppy questions" answered all within a timely matter. The staff up front is also very nice and the girl I spoke to on the phone squeezed me in today for an appointment because it's the only day I have off from work so that meant a lot!! I recently went to a doctors appointment for my friends dog, First of all,  the parking (or lack there of was RIDICULOUS) which made me want to say something to reception when we got inside, but there was already a man inside giving the receptionist crap for it (which she obviously has no control over) so I just left it alone.The lobby was disgustingly hot, apparently their AC is not working?? What are we paying all of this money for if we have to sit in a hot room?The staff was great, nurse who roomed us gave us a lot of needed information, receptionist was sweet & understanding since my friend had to reschedule a couple times. The place is a little small, but the Staff and Doctors are very friendly, easy to talk to and joke with, and know exactly what they are doing. I brought my cat in for a worm check and vaccination updates. He's a pretty difficult cat, but they worked with him very easily and took really good care of him. We were in and out within an hour, only because we had to wait for test results. The cost was lower than I was expecting, considering he had a test, two shots, and then a medication added on. This place is such a nice little clinic. The girls are super welcoming and the doctor is really sweet. They take the time in the room to get to know you and your animal. Seems to be very organized and well taken care of. I love how they have two hospital cats who go up and say hello to all the clients. I will definiely be back with my pets in the future. Read Less

I took my Shih-Tzu in for her shots recently.  John was able to get me in the same day. When we arrived John (receptionist) was very friendly. The regular veterinarian wasn't there that day so we saw Dr. Manhas. He made my dog feel so comfortable. I highly recommend Animal Clinic! Read Less

The staff is great and makes you feel very welcomed. Although the location is not the best around the office is very clean and organized and the techs and doctors really know what they are doing and do their job with compassion and have the animals best intentions in mind. This place is dirty, small and the staff is not friendly! Apparently they have a sister location down the street. When you call the number on their Yelp page, if they don't answer, the phone line kicks over to the sister clinic down the street. When I called to schedule my appointment, this happened, and no one said anything! So of course, I showed up to this location, because this is where (thought) I called, but it turned out that my location was actually scheduled for their sister location. And they were sure to treat me like an idiot for their confusing phone system situation.....They were annoyed with me for showing up (unknowingly) to the wrong location, but they took me anyway. So that was nice at least.The RUDE girl behind the tall desk instructed me to put my own dog on the scale to weigh her. She hardly ever looked up at me when speaking to me. What am I paying this place for if I have to do this?? I couldn't figure out the scale at first, so this of course, annoyed the receptionist too. She was rude to me throughout the rest of my time there and I honestly wish I would have just walked out. The person who took us into the exam room, took my dog's temperature rectally with a dirty thermometer that she barely wiped off after to use on the next animal.... Isn't this how disease is spread??The doctor had no bedside manner and was a quack.So glad I was only there for a rabies vaccine and nothing serious. We won't be taking our dog back to these jerks. I had a cat that needed her eye removed.  Called around, animal clinic was the most affordable.  (you get what you pay for, I found out to late).  This poor cat endured so much suffering st the hands of these doctors.  days after first surgery the poor thing had to endure yet another surgery because of a bad infection. doctor told me she had a broken tooth, so that may be causing it.  No call to me to see if I wanted the tooth properly removed. so the infection kept getting worse.  The first surgery was when the tooth got broken.  3 months later 2 more surgeries for infections ect we had to put her to sleep.  This vet doesnt care about their patients, it shows when they do their exam.  cold group, and incompetent.  If you truly love your pet, spend the extra money for proper care. She is only in it for the money. My dog suffered for hours. Then I get a call that she's critical. She died in my arms. They put her on the table and said she was still alive. She wasn't. Dr. Dhanota then charged me to have her euthanized. Who does that?!!!!Read Less

I just had my small dogs teeth cleaned with the brand new dental cleaning machine the American Pet Clinic has added. Wow. What a beautiful job. No more bad breath, she is eating again and overall is much happier. What a difference. Dropped her off in AM and picked her up in the afternoon. Nice white teeth with no swelling whatsoever  The staff is awesome and of course DR. B is the best. He gives 100% everyday!  What a blessing. Read Less

After reading reviews on this vets office I thought I was making a good decision by scheduling an appointment. What a waste of my time and money. We had to wait almost an hour past our appointment time to be called back, where the vet tech attempted to take my cats temperature. She asked me to hold my cat down while she stuck the thermometer in her behind. (Which every other time of gone to the vets the tech held her for this, I've never had to) I didn't even have a hold of her yet and the tech shoved it up there, my cat freaked out and bit my hand. (Something she's never done) the tech clearly didn't know what she was doing. Then the vet comes in and tries to prescribe my cat medication for an infection he didn't even test her for! I'm not comfortable giving my cat medications that may be unnecessary. To me it looked like he was just trying to make money. After leaving there with no answers or solution to my cats issues. I made an appointment the very next day with a different vets office. I'll never be coming here again. **posted something on Facebook about my experience and a friend of mine just took her puppy in there last week and they gave her a steroid shot thinking she had parvo (which they didn't test her for) she ended up having a heart defect and the steroid shot killed her!! Doctor is RUDE impatient,i had may dog there for simple ear infection but had to wait a while to be seen,His bedside manners was terrible.even my do who loves people wanted a piece of him.he doesn't listen if you have a comment.I WOULD GIVE HIM A ZERO STAR WONT GO BACK>. every VET ive goto was nice and listened to me for my input,not this guy. I've taken my dogs to this vet for the last 11 years and I've never had any problems. I've had another dog neutered there and he did perfectly fine ( I coned him and watched him closely). Since being in the medical field I know how tough it can be to deal with patients especially if it's a loved one and their family. Being able to priorities which medical need is more important has made it a little easier for me to manage my finances. However, I never felt that this vet has ever tried to take my money. Recently found out my dog has a murmur which I know can be a bad outcome in the future. Staff have been very kind to me and my dogs. They have educated me in my dog and his illness. If they are busy it's easy for me to understand that things come up and that I am sure vets try their best as most medical staff try to as well. Thanks for all your help and kindness to the animals. My husband, son and I took our dog Rocky to this clinic the other day for the first time. It was his first trip to the vet since adopting him last summer.  The staff and the Veterinarian were all very friendly, and helpful.  Rocky was comfortable, our issue and concerns were listened to and addressed and we left feeling confident that Rocky had the best outcome he could have had anywhere else but for a reasonable, affordable price. I've had dogs in the past that the minute we stepped into the vets office automatically were scared and wanted out but the atmosphere was comfortable and so was Rocky, so we will definitely return when it's time for Rocky to be seen again for whatever reason.  Thank you to the staff!! This clinic gets 5 stars for the technicians who run this little place. They are under payed and work extremely hard. These employees should be given a larger facility to enable them to do their jobs more adequately and given raises. If you want your pets to be in a safe place where they are actually cared about instead of being seen as $$ signs go here. The staff truly are animal lovers and will do everything in their power to care for your family members. Outcomes aren't always happy ones but it's not because the staff is uncaring or incompetent. The female doctor that works here has also proven to me that she is a caring dr and she is very thorough. Their prices are the lowest in town but for my babies I would personally pay any price necessary to keep them healthy and alive. Read Less

I first came here when I adopted my Siberian Husky from the Manteca Shelter.  They provided my dog with the necessary vaccinations at a very reasonable cost.  I just got another Husky this year and she was a puppy.   I brought here right away to the animal clinic to get started.  It started off with a free wellness check which is great for any new pup.  Diamond just finished her last bit of vaccinations to include a spay.  The spay was 20% percent off which is not offered at most pet clinics and Diamond took the surgery just fine.  Diamond and Blue enjoy long runs and play dates at the dog park and I now have a piece of mind they won't catch any illness due to the great service at Animal Clinic.  Shout out to John at the front desk.  He was always very accommodating with my busy schedule and also provided very helpful reminder phone calls.  GO HERE Read Less

I needed to get shots for my dog for boarding purposes and needed an affordable place easy to accommodate because I work a lot and am very busy.  Animal clinic was friendly and did a same day appointment. The waiting area was clean and welcoming. A friendly resident Siamese cat even greeted us there! Staff is very nice and so was the doctor. Was my first visit but my husband had been there before. I found a dog in the street and took her to Animal Clinic to see if she had a microchip, needless to say she did not. I put flyers up with her picture and even went to animal control to see if her owners were looking for her. After a month of trying to find the owner we decided that we would just keep her. We named her Rosie because she had the faintest bit of red to her color. We returned to Animal Clinic to get her up to date on vaccines because we did not know who she came from and wanted to keep her at this amazing clinic. I recently brought my parent's dog Tucker here and this place did not disappoint.   I have brought my cats here as well in the past so I knew this would be a good place. The staff here is really friendly and the made me and Tucker feel at ease. Tucker is normally not the most well behaved at the vet but here he behaved really well. The only issue was getting him on the scale but the staff was really patient and we got him up there eventually. The doctors here are very nice as well and the prices are good. They give you a quote of everything before they do any work and you decide where to go from there. They are flexible as far as appointments go and they really care about your pet's health. They also have a cat there that is like their little mascot and he is the sweetest kitty ever! Love him! There are a lot of vets out there but this is my go to place when my pets are sick. Read Less

Save your animal by going somewhere else!! Took my cat in and it was a complete waste of time and money. Within a 6-8 weeks my cat died. I'm not sure what happened, but I will never trust this clinic with another pet. My whole experience was a bad one. I brought my limping dog who was misdiagnosed at another Clinic with hip dysplasia. I got appointment same day and doctor took x-rays and told me that his knee ligament was broken and his hips were fine.They did surgery and my Rambo is back to normal. I would  recommend this place. Read Less

Great place! Very efficient and will give you the straight talk about what's absolutely neccessary and what's not when the services needed run in to the $$$ range for your pets. We've been going here for about 3-4 years...I couldn't tell you the name of any specific Dr. though. Seems we always see someone different. We've never had any problems here though. That says a lot! I brought my 2 year old cat "Mr. Hat" into see the Dr. Sing at Animal Clinic after he had been vomiting for 3+ days he wasn't eating anything or drinking anything and he dropped 8 pounds in 1 week and we were sure he wasn't going to make it. Dr. Sing was very persistent that we leave him for hospitalization on fluids and medications by iv. He started to perk up but he still wasn't acting himself so the Dr. Sing recommended that we do an exploratory surgery. After 45 minutes of exploring he found that his bile duct was curled into a bunch of circles (which was abnormal). He straightened out the bile duct and stapled him up. It only took about 2 days of hospitalization and Mr Hat was able to come home. I am SO thankful for the Animal Clinic staff and Dr. Sing. They were so nice and helpful and made sure that our family understood everything that was going on with him. I would HIGHLY recommend this vet to everyone!
