DR. RAJ IS SKILLED, WELL EDUCATED AND AMAZING! My Yorkie Gucci is 8.5 years old, he woke up very ill one morning after not showing any previous signs of illness AT ALL. I rushed him to his regular vet he has been seeing for 8 yrs 4 mos. They diagnosed him with a 10cm tumor of the spleen. He had a weak pulse and was in very bad shape. They then urged me to make a decision and make it now, either put him to sleep or do surgery. I was distraught and asked for time. I went home and offered to relinquish my baby to a rescue to get him the help he needed as I knew I could not afford what they quoted and without the surgery he would die. I knew he wouldn't be mine anymore, But I love him so much And he deserved to live. The rescue I reached out to referred me to Dr. Raj, BEST THING THAT COULD EVER HAVE HAPPENED.
I went to see Dr Raj on a Sunday and he wasn't in but another vet saw my baby and allowed all his previous Xrays and bloodwork in and quoted us for the surgery (thankfully we had raised enough to have it done on gofundme) They did not charge an exam fee for the first visit which was unheard of and very nice! The very next day Gucci was getting the surgery. I hadn't met dr Raj yet, But gucci was dropped there at 9am. At around 1 Dr Raj called me to speak with me since we hadn't met. I told him I wished we could have met beforehand and he promptly said "COME DOWN AND I'LL WAIT!" I could not believe it! What traditional vet puts surgery on hold and takes a good hour out of their day to meet you AT NO COST?!! Answer NONE! Only an exceptional and compassionate vet does this! I live 35 minutes away and he knew this, yet he waited!! That was the first of many times he would surprise us with his kindness and genuine care for us and our Gucci!!
SURGERY went well, Guccis spleen was removed and we picked him up that evening. Dr Raj recommended he stay at the ER vet overnight and we took him there. He also helped save us money w/IV bags to take along. Guccis red blood cell count was very low and Dr Raj was concerned so he checked his blood regularly and even did xrays etc just for his peace of mind. He clearly cared about helping my dog and was proud of his work! He left no stone unturned and finally diagnosed Gucci with autoimmune anemia within days after surgery. He began a treatment of prednisone and a some vitamins and antibiotics and told us we had a 60% chance of it working. He consulted with a specialist about my baby, when he did NOT HAVE TO.
After around 4 days we saw the treatment was working!! Dr Raj was just as excited as we were and continues to be. He takes the time to say hello to us any time we are in the lobby, even when we are not there to see him (gucci has to get bloodwork often and other things). He always answers questions I have, promptly returns phone calls and goes above and beyond for my baby. He always shows excitement and pride when he sees how much gucci is improving. He truly cares for his patients and it is just amazing. This is a kind and caring man who clearly does this because it is his CRAFT, his PASSION, and not just his job!! TRUST IN HIS CARE, that trust may save your babys life.
We don't have a lot of money and Dr. Raj has still managed to give my little guy top notch, exceptional care for the money we have paid. My baby is still recovering and no matter where this road leads, I will always be grateful we found Dr Raj and the wonderful staff at Central Valley Vet! THANK YOU

There is no other vet that I would take my best friend to.
My pupper Tucker has been with Dr. Raj since he was a few months old 12 years ago, and Central Valley Vet has always treated us like family....

My pupper Tucker has been with Dr. Raj since he was a few months old 12 years ago, and Central Valley Vet has always treated us like family.
Tucker was hit by a truck when he was 6 years old, and lost all nerves and muscle tissue in his left front leg. Not only was Dr. Raj able to save his life from other damage caused by the hit, but he and his team were there the entire length of recovery to attempt to help Tucker heal and get his leg back to shape, and even sent us get well cards. Ultimately the damage was too severe, and Tucker's leg had to be amputated.
Tucker was back to normal in no time at all, and doesn't even notice that his front leg is gone. He still acts like a big puppy and plays all the time, goes for runs with me and is just as happy as ever, and even after all this time everyone at Central Valley Vet recognizes him.
My best friend's life was saved because of the care and attention given by Dr. Raj and his team. I would recommend anyone here, if not for the amazing work but also for the level of care provided. I wish I could rate them higher.

He is aAmerican bulldog and I knew he had bad teeth had it ever since he came home we did our best to keep him healthy and brush his teeth but it was a little too bad
We made appointment for him at the Central Valley Vet for routine dental check up and update vaccine. We found out that we will definitely need to have multiple teeth extracted Dr. Rogers was really kind and assured me that I should not feel guilty and they would take care of him
We made an appointment for surgery in the next available date and they gave us all breakdown of the projected cost of surgery
Dr. Rogers even called during the surgery to give us a full estimate and told us about how many teeth had to be extracted
Bo ended up losing 8 but he was a new dog after a couple of days He has always been very affectionate and now he's just ridiculous eating like a horse and his breath no longer smell like a rotting carcass
Theyhave a great offer office and are super responsive and good about calling to make sure you won't miss your appointment.Place is very clean and neat and all my pets since my first visit have always been very comfortable at this place

It is a beautiful state of the art facility in central valley wonderful caring vets as well as educated staff.Surgical and medical care is awesome.I will continue to use them as a family where as long as we live in the central valley

I was so nervous taking my baby in to a new Vet for more than a minor procedure. The staff here was pleasant and helpful on the phone and great in person. They interacted with my dog and truly seemed to care. Dr. Raj is top notch. Very professional and kind. The cost was a bit more than I'd hoped to pay, but then again, I guess you do get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend Central Valley Animal Hospital, to any pet owner.

I just can not say enough great things about this vet office. I went there for the first time 1-1/2 years ago. The staff is absolutely amazing. Dr. Raj is the best vet I have ever had the opportunity to met. Michigan has their incredible Dr. Pol, Manteca has it's own incredible Dr. Raj. I have had 3 emergency visit with his office. His kindness and understanding is beyond words. You feel like family when you go there. The staff are all friendly and great you as you walk in the door. I am so happy that I found a vet that truly cares about my fur-babies. I would never go anywhere else.

We just love Dr. Raj!!! He is the best vet I've met by far. Sometimes you have to wait a while to be seen, but I drive 25 miles and wait just to see Dr. Raj. He is very thorough at explaining things and even saved my dog's life when another vet couldn't. Staff is friendly too. Emergencies happen in any type of hospital and when they happen here I don't mind waiting to be seen becuase I know Dr. Raj is giving them the same time, respect and explanations as we get when it is our turn to be seen.

I was brushing my Pet's teeth when I found a large cavity and swollen gums. I panicked. I called my old vet and 3 other vets and none of them seemed alarmed. My cousin told me to try Central Valley vet since she has been living in Manteca for 20 years.
I called Central and got a complimentary exam and was given estimate for dental and extractions . It was very reasonable. Dr Raj was very knowledgeable and had very good bedside manners.
Next I dropped off my pet around 9 am and was received very pleasantly . I was given pick up time of 5 pm.
When I arrived for pickup office was a little bit busy but Hayley took care of my discharge quickly and professionally.
My dog is 2 weeks into dental and he was s chewing his dental bonds like a puppy. I am very satisfied and happy that I found this vet.

My baby girl loves to play at the dog park. One day she met with a bigger dog that didn't find her playful spirit as lovable as everyone else does. She ended up having a few cuts, some bruises, and was very shaken up, as well as myself. I panicked and threw her in my car and rushed to the closest vet that was open. I called them on my way there and they told me to go ahead and let them know when we got there so that someone could help me bring her in if I needed the extra help. When I got there, the wonderful receptionist put me and my baby right into a room. Both the technician and Dr. Raj came into the room as I was filling out paper work to make sure she was ok. They gave her a quick once over and even put a bandage on her head because her ear had a nice cut on it. The doctor even came in to give her an injection for pain so that she could be more comfortable. Soon after, they gave me an estimate to have her mildly sedated, have her wounds cleaned up, and give her antibiotics and pain medications to take home to ensure that nothing got infected. I was able to pick her up just a little bit later, and despite her new hair cut, she was good as new! Everything healed up beautifully, she got her few sutures taken out two weeks later, she finished all of her medicine and she still loves going to the dog park and playing with the other dogs. I will definitely be returning here for any of her other medical needs!

There is not a vet I would recommend any higher than Dr. Raj. We have been going to him for years and years with all of our 9 dogs, 4 cats, geese, ducks even my cockatiel. His diagnosis have always been right on 99% of the time, without all the tests. But, I still have them all done, just to be sure. Furthermore, we have had some very unusual afflictions with our dogs, and when he feels it is better served by someone whose only field was what my dog had, he recommends a specialist. And, both of the specialists were magnificent! He has shown us nothing but compassion and caring. His regular staff are well versed in their jobs and do them well. The extended hours are very convenient for us.I know that some have had to wait in the office a bit more than they expected, but I can say with all confidence, that it is because he had to take another animal in as an emergency, and had to devote time to that one first, maybe to avoid the pet dying immediately. I do believe the wait times are just as they would be with your regular physician most times. They do not mind answering questions, regardless of the topic, on the phone. And, their fees charged are much less than anyone else around, as I have checked.I have been in the surgery rooms, I have been in the kennel area and all are very clean and organized. I have no qualms what so ever about this clinic or Dr. Raj.

Our 4yo lab retriever was showing symptoms of bloat (scary!) so I made a frantic call to Central Vet Hospital at 7pm on a Friday night (near closing) and they told me to bring him in right away, no hesitations or other questions asked.
After meeting with Dr. Raj, he ruled out bloat from a physical exam but he wanted to do some x-rays to be certain there wasn't something else going on... and they ended up finding a large splenic tumor that was estimated to be 6lbs (!!!). As any other dog parent can imagine, seeing the x-ray image with a massive tumor taking over his entire abdomen was heart shattering but I can't express how thankful I am for the vet techs who gave me Kleenex and positive vibes. The radiology report was sent for a second opinion which came back with the same diagnosis... Splenic tumor that ultimately required emergency surgery.
Dr. Raj professionally and realistically explained the situation and our options and put everything on the table transparently. Though the procedure to remove the tumor was risky, we only saw one option and we weren't giving up on our boy! Surgery it was - which was a total splenectomy. I also want to point out that the surgery was clearly not scheduled, but Dr. Raj and his team stayed past midnight on a Friday night to complete the procedure. This speaks volumes!!

Dr. Raj invited me to the vet hospital so I could visit with Dexter and I can't tell you how much I appreciated that chance, as I wasn't sure if it would be the last time. When I got to the hospital I saw just how much they genuinely cared for him - he had tons of blankets around him, a couple heated water bags etc and he was comfortable. This reassured me that he was in the best possible hands. The next morning I got the great news that he pulled through the night and we could come visit him again later that day and take him home that night!
Dr. Raj went over the details of the surgery and explained the reality of what we were dealing with. Dexter's spleen had already ruptured so if they hadn't performed the splenectomy that night, he would not have made it. I can't emphasize enough how grateful we are for his expertise and quick decision making that ultimately saved our boy! The next step was sending the tumor for biopsy to see if it was cancerous. We were given information on both types of splenic tumors (cancerous and noncancerous) so we had an idea what to prepare ourselves for. Dr. Raj was optimistic but realistic, which I appreciate more than words can say.
Flash forward two weeks, Dexter is cancer free and recovering like a champ! His incision is healing beautifully with no issues or complications. All in all, the entire team at Urban Central Valley Vet has been incredible (shout out to Kim - Dexter absolutely loved her!) and I would recommend Urban Vet Hospital to anyone and everyone. They treated Dex as if he was their own which is soo comforting. Being new to central valley I can't express how thankful I am that we chose Central vet Hospital during this critical time. To the entire vet team - THANK YOU!! We will definitely be bringing Dexter back in the future!

I highly recommend central vet! The staff is so compassionate towards there patients, very helpful and very reasonably priced. I've used them quite a few times and seen different doctors and they all are really knowledgeable and they do a really thorough exam, more then any other vet I have used in the past. I won't be going anywhere else but here! Thank you Central Vet for always making me feel my babies are getting the best treatment.

I took my 10 year old yorkie in to get a lump on her stomach checked out. I was very concerned because of her age and it was a good size. When I went in the staff was so friendly. When Dr. Raj came in he introduced himself and did a full exam, and also pointed out her teeth, which I knew have been an issue as well. I told him I was concerned about her going under because of her age. He reassured me it was the safest kind of sedation possible. We also ran a chemistry blood test to make sure she was okay to put under and said we could put her on IV's as well. I never felt so comfortable leaving my dog in someone elses hands. The surgery went fantastic with no complications. I am never trusting anyone but Dr Raj and his staff with my pets health again.

I had taken my dog fluffy here to get dental cleaning. My dog had really bad breath and some teeth that needed to be removed. I had a great experience in the room with the technicians and the doctor. Every one is super friends and showed like they cared about my pets well being. When i came to pick my pet up he was a little out of it from the sedation which is normal. They had all the paper work ready and all his medication done and ready which I really liked. It showed really good organization. Needless to say I will be bringing my pet here from now on because of the excellent care my pet got.

When my wife and I got our two dogs (Pomeranian & Chihuahua) we needed to find a new vet. We googled an foundCentral Valley Veterinary Hospital. I have to say that I'm glad I used google for this search because we think we found our Vet.
We first took them for a doggie checkup after only having them for a week. While the parking lot can be a bit bigger, the facilities here are nice and clean. a bit bigger, the facilities here are nice and clean. The staff here is friendly and helpful. Even though it's just one waiting room (I know some places have 1 for Cats & 1 for Dogs) it's a decent size. Once called you go to one of the 4 rooms in the back. I've been to about 3 or 4 of them and they each have a different animal theme. They were all clean and didn't smell like a kennel.
My dogs are a bit skittish around strangers but the vet here was very nice and pleasant. He took the time to check out each dog despite their yapping and everything checked out fine with my two new doggies. We got them set up on their vaccination schedule and came back here several times for their shots. I think what was best was that he took the time to talk to me about the dogs and their general welfare. There was ZERO pressure to get "extras" and his only recommendation was if we go to Gold Country that we might want to consider heartworm medication, but since it was the only occasional trip, he didn't think we needed it.
We also did come in for a doggie emergency when the Pomeranian scratched his eye. I believe it was Dr. Bruno that saw our dog, and as mentioned, she was very nice about it and didn't rush us to get any unnecessary extras. Our dog ended up find though he did struggle the first few times we put the drops in. We came back about a week later and Dr. Bruno said that our dog was just fine and he healed very quickly.
One of the bonus about Central Valley Veterinary Hospital is that they have very work friendly hours. So for those of us who work, they have hours up until I believe 8:30. If I had one complaint, their prices are high. We had to changed our appointment at CvVH to get our dogs neutered to EBSPCA because their prices were double. I believe the price was $185 for each dog where as at the EBSPCA it was $100 each.
Service and the facilities here are top notch and it's worth a couple of extra dollars to make sure your little buddies get the best possible service. Thank you

I called today to see if my dog could be fit in for an emergency my pet could not breath and I was really freaking out he was turning blue !!! The receptionist told me to come in right away ! Doctor Raj was the doctor treating my pet; he had my baby put on oxygen therapy to get his color back and it worked !! Doctor Raj recommended an x ray incase there is something blocking his air ways . Little did I know my dog got into the garbage and ate a chicken bone ! :( they went into emergency surgery and removed the bone stuck in his air way. All in all DOCTOR RAJ saved my dog ! Thank you Central Valley and all your staff for all your hard work and going above and beyond for me and my dog

Several years ago we were on vacation on the Delta when my Great Dane cut her leg. It was 9pm and we grateful that we found a vet with such late night hours and they took good care of our girl. So last year we moved to Manteca and until recently, had not needed vet services but when the same dog developed a lump on her leg, we decided to go back to CVVH. So exactly 1 month ago I made an appt to have her leg looked at and get a nail trim. It appeared to be a swollen joint to the untrained eye. I was told that nothing looked dislocated and that it was probably just arthritis because she is 9 and without an x-ray they couldn't tell for sure. When I asked about doing the x-ray they told me that they couldn't do it now and I should just make another appt to come back for an x-ray if it got worse. I thought that was odd since the lump was the original reason for my appt, but oh well, they gave me what I thought was good news. Unfortunately it did get worse... due to extenuating circumstances (in a review coming to you soon), I chose NOT to return to CVVH and took my sugarface to Northgate. They were able to preliminary diagnose by touch and x-rays confirmed that my baby girl has bone cancer with only a few months left. Interestingly the vet at Northgate actually mentioned that she was "surprised CVVH thought it was arthritis due to the hardness and placement" of the lump. My theory (not Northgates) is that my dog never got past the nail clippers to have someone really look at her leg or they are completely incompetent with this type of diagnostics. Either way, I would definitely suggest that you think twice about using this facility.UPDATE 3/14 8:55 pm: In response to CVVH comment: A miscommunication on the type of appt requested is possible however after recent events, I am leaning more towards the fact that this type of "miscommunication" is a pattern in this facility. I realize that this is a negative review which might put anyone on the defensive but I would also like to point out the lack of compassion in the response. I just found out my baby that was seen in your facility is dying and yet, there is no condolences for our heartache. My question to the readers is, is this someone you want to caring for your pet?

The lobby is clean and organized, parking is ample, staff is friendly, professional and courteous - even offered water for the puppies and us during our less than 30 minute office visit for two puppies! Paris's exam was first, she is 2 years old. Dr Raj was very thorough and patient with her as visits are stressful for her. Her pedicure was fast, professional and pain free. Little Leo, 15 weeks old, was next. Dr. Raj was very thorough with Leo's first visit since he has been home with us. Leo received a vaccination, the vet techs administer the injections in another room. I am not overly comfortable with the animals leaving the room for injections but I'm sure if I requested that they inject in the exam room that they would accommodate. Dr. Raj has an admirable background with his internship being at Auburn University-one of the best animal clinics and emergency hospitals in the US. His communication is clear, precise and explains when you ask for more detail. A lot of emergency resources on site.The rates are competitive, hours are EXCELLENT, location is convenient, additional office in Brentwood. Very happy with my initial visit.

I was very disappointed with this clinic. I chose this clinic based on the reviews. I do believe I just had multiple poor experiences here. First poor experience was our at our pups 1st exam. There was no running water, no soap, and no hand sanitizer. How are they going to prevent the risk of spreading infection to a pup who is not fully vaccinated? The 2nd horrible experience was when I gave the front office receptionist my pups paperwork on his vaccinations of what he had done with the breeder. She told me he needed a deworming and parvo shot. Trusting her judgement, because I trusted them to guide me in keeping my pup healthy. They went ahead and gave him what was recommended. I insisted looking at puppy vaccination form of what he had prior from the breeder. That took me a while to understand the terminology. I found out that he already had the 2 that was recommended prior to bringing him in. So when I called them to ask them about it they said if he has had to many dewormings his nervous system could shut down. OK I was extremly upset. I asked for and office manager to call me back and at least credit the deworming vaccine. No call at all.... ever. No apology. I don't believe the front office receptionist shouldn't be making executive decisions if she has no clue what they are doing. Irresponsible and negligent. Thank goodness my pup was ok. 3rd poor experience was recently. My pup became sick and I had some fecal test that came up negative. I asked for the Dr. to give me a call back and nothing .After attempting to leave him 2 messages, I decided to take my pup somewhere else and he needed emergency surgery and possibly could have died. Poor communication with pet owners. If I am going to choose a clinic for my dog I want open communication, especially if I am going to be spending a lot of money. I would like to have a good relationship with the Vet Doctors.

The pricing is cheap and this is a good place for your basic needs. My dog had to have a toe amputated and Dr. Raj performed the surgery, however he did not amputate it back far enough, so the toe kept breaking open, bleeding, and oozing after walks or activities. Not long after the amputation, my clumsy pup hurt his leg. So, I brought him to Dr. Raj and he dismissed it as a "sprain." After seeking a second opinion it turned out he had a torn MCL and his toe was not amputated back far enough. Since having the surgeries performed at the new vets, I have not had a problem with his toe or ligament. Dr. Raj was my vet for all my pets up until this. This is a great place to get your basic needs met, but I'm not confident in their orthopedic experience.

He is a very energetic 6 year old pup. My husband and j went back and forth about what we should do and ultimately decided our dog needed to be seen as an emergency. I made the phone call, explained the problem and was told by the receptionist that they were all booked for the day. I couldn't believe that they wouldn't squeeze in a longtime customers emergency. The guy did tell me I could get an appointment for tomorrow I called Manteca Veterinary Hospital. We took our boy right down. They were concerned and had us immediate bring him. I will be using MVH from now on.

Dr. Raj is about s straight shooter as you get. We've taken all our pets here for years and have never had any problems. We took Girlie in a few years back and she needed major surgery on her ears. Dr. Raj was upfront and said it may come back later in time but he was confident it would relieve her pain for a good while. Well she started in again a month ago and I figured there goes a grand or more but there would be no alternatives so in we went. Quick office visit and flushing her ears and that was that. She simply had an infection. Now we had no clue what was wrong and brought up the thought her condition returned so he coulda easily taken us for a ride and we wouldn't know the difference. But then again his honesty and caring about our little friends is why we have stuck with him for over a decade now.

I brought my dog here for allergies this was 4th time for same issue unfortunately the last and final time. I'm never bringing my dog here again I had an appointment at 6 I wasn't seen until 7 then the vet didn't even look at her really didn't even lay a hand on her to examine her body just told me that they could do a skin scraping (which you can't witness nor had they even mentioned in the visits prior ) proceeded to take a large sample off the scab on her nose but didn't bother checking anywhere else I honestly think that the tech did that pulling her into the back room because the vet said they scrapped her abdomen so he didn't even know if that's the case. I had to beg them to put something on the wound since it was much larger and bleeding so it didn't get infected. The vet prescribed meds which he kept mentioning were pricey and when I asked for a prescription to possibly purchase somewhere else he assured me it was a new med only the vet hospitals carried it. I came so find that was a lie and basically cost 4 times less on petmeds.com. Bottom line I gave her the meds 25 min later she became more inflamed and red I called the tech said please bring her back some other tech that hadn't even seen her said she looked the same so I left I was so done with that place I got a second opinion and they said in fact looked and sounded like an allergic reaction to them gave her an injection and said to watch for any new symptoms thankfully my pup is resting now but I will be taking her elsewhere from now on

I wish I could give 10 stars! Dr raj and all the staff at Central Valley, has always taken amazing care of our fur babies. The staff up front has always been warm and welcoming. I give a lot of credit to these girls, because it's usually busy there but they still get us taken care of as fast as they can and still with a smile all while answering at least 10 phone calls in between! Now to Dr. Raj and the technicians, they have always been thorough and not just try to gouge me for money. They always give us all out options and price accordingly, which trust me is very reasonable compared to so many other vets I've taken our pets to. Dr. Raj is very good at explaining to us the findings of his exams and he's very compassionate when working with them. It never feels like I'm at a car dealership where everyone is trying to sell me stuff, it's not like that all. Other vets I've been to always want to upsell their products such as flea control, shampoo, etc. All in all after trying so desperately to find a vet where I felt comfortable with AND was cost efficient I've finally found it and I'll never take my pets anywhere else. Thank you Central Valley!!!

Bunnies can be very complicated animals to do surgery on but I was assured from the staff that the vet had plenty of experience neutering rabbits.Our foster bunny came through surgery with flying colors! 24 hours later and he's eating like a champ and resting. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The office is clean and comfortable. If you have a rabbit who needs to be neutered or spayed, I'd highly recommend this clinic. Not only are their prices very reasonable, but they are professional and very good at what they do!

My most notable experience was taken in a sick wild cat who the clinic took care of and only accepted payment for the shots we gave the cat, not charge for the vet to take care of him.
I love this clinic and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves their pet.

She has researched various remedies and prescribed a medication that has turned his behavior around. This diagnoses was not easy and her hard work enabled a positive, cost effective cure. We took our beloved family dog there when he blew a disc in his back. Dr. Raj was very honest and through with us. He gave us time to wish him well and give us time to wish him well. we opted for surgery and thought he go the best care possible, due to previous neurological trauma, he didn't make it. we were devastated, and i believe the staff there was too. we received a lovely card to delivered to our house a few days later. I've lost many dogs over the years but no vet clinic has ever offered that kind of compassion ans care. I know if ever have another major medical issue with a dog, we will go there first. If I could give this vet zero stars, I would. I brought my dog in a month ago because he was very sick, not eating and very old, so it was his time. I couldn't bare to see him in pain any longer. Like a lot of pet owners, he was my son and we were very close. A procedure that should've taken a few minutes took over a half an hour!! The vet evidently didn't put the catheter in correctly in his front paw. He administered the liquid which helps the pet pass quickly and it didn't take. The vet continually tried to administer it to save face knowing full well it wasn't going to take, because he felt the catheter slip out his first try (which he admitted when my poor pet did not pass). He then apologized and was literally shaking stating that he needed to put in another catheter in his back leg. I was furious!!! My poor dog was terrified and in pain. He asked that I leave the room to shave his back leg and put another one in (which I know hurt and confused my pet). He then put the liquid in the back catheter and it worked quickly. While my best friend lye dead on the table, the vet immediately offered me my new puppy (when I choose to replace him) free xrays and shots. The audacity!!! He has no bedside manner, no professionalism and to to make it all worse, he still charged me for sitting in on the procedure and the catheter itself!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE. I still have nightmares.

When i got there i was told by the doctor that the best thing to do was just put her down because he didn't believe that the plasma infusions and anything would work that would of cost thousands of dollars. Even though it was a hard thing for us to do we knew the doctor was right and he was very helpful and loving and helped us through it. The best verterinary place i have been to. When I entered this location, the entire room was dark and 100% empty. Nothing but furniture. I waited for fifteen minutes before I finally called out for some help. After a few more minutes passed by, somebody finally came out and told me to wait a little longer for her to help me. When she finally finished what she was doing on her computer, she was very rude and didn't seem to care to elaborate when she answered my questions about the facility. I was officially turned off by the facility and the front desk alone. If the front desk lady is going to act completely apathetic and the whole facility is going to look like a ghost town, then why would I feel comfortable leaving my beloved animals there? I'm deeply disappointed.

DR. RAJ IS SKILLED, WELL EDUCATED AND AMAZING! My Yorkie Gucci is 8.5 years old, he woke up very ill one morning after not showing any previous signs of illness AT ALL. I rushed him to his regular vet he has been seeing for 8 yrs 4 mos. They diagnosed him with a 10cm tumor of the spleen. He had a weak pulse and was in very bad shape. They then urged me to make a decision and make it now, either put him to sleep or do surgery. I was distraught and asked for time. I went home and offered to relinquish my baby to a rescue to get him the help he needed as I knew I could not afford what they quoted and without the surgery he would die. I knew he wouldn't be mine anymore, But I love him so much And he deserved to live. The rescue I reached out to referred me to Dr. Raj, BEST THING THAT COULD EVER HAVE HAPPENED.
I went to see Dr Raj on a Sunday and he wasn't in but another vet saw my baby and allowed all his previous Xrays and bloodwork in and quoted us for the surgery (thankfully we had raised enough to have it done on gofundme) They did not charge an exam fee for the first visit which was unheard of and very nice! The very next day Gucci was getting the surgery. I hadn't met dr Raj yet, But gucci was dropped there at 9am. At around 1 Dr Raj called me to speak with me since we hadn't met. I told him I wished we could have met beforehand and he promptly said "COME DOWN AND I'LL WAIT!" I could not believe it! What traditional vet puts surgery on hold and takes a good hour out of their day to meet you AT NO COST?!! Answer NONE! Only an exceptional and compassionate vet does this! I live 35 minutes away and he knew this, yet he waited!! That was the first of many times he would surprise us with his kindness and genuine care for us and our Gucci!!
SURGERY went well, Guccis spleen was removed and we picked him up that evening. Dr Raj recommended he stay at the ER vet overnight and we took him there. He also helped save us money w/IV bags to take along. Guccis red blood cell count was very low and Dr Raj was concerned so he checked his blood regularly and even did xrays etc just for his peace of mind. He clearly cared about helping my dog and was proud of his work! He left no stone unturned and finally diagnosed Gucci with autoimmune anemia within days after surgery. He began a treatment of prednisone and a some vitamins and antibiotics and told us we had a 60% chance of it working. He consulted with a specialist about my baby, when he did NOT HAVE TO.
After around 4 days we saw the treatment was working!! Dr Raj was just as excited as we were and continues to be. He takes the time to say hello to us any time we are in the lobby, even when we are not there to see him (gucci has to get bloodwork often and other things). He always answers questions I have, promptly returns phone calls and goes above and beyond for my baby. He always shows excitement and pride when he sees how much gucci is improving. He truly cares for his patients and it is just amazing. This is a kind and caring man who clearly does this because it is his CRAFT, his PASSION, and not just his job!! TRUST IN HIS CARE, that trust may save your babys life.
We don't have a lot of money and Dr. Raj has still managed to give my little guy top notch, exceptional care for the money we have paid. My baby is still recovering and no matter where this road leads, I will always be grateful we found Dr Raj and the wonderful staff at Central Valley Vet! THANK YOU

My pupper Tucker has been with Dr. Raj since he was a few months old 12 years ago, and Central Valley Vet has always treated us like family.
Tucker was hit by a truck when he was 6 years old, and lost all nerves and muscle tissue in his left front leg. Not only was Dr. Raj able to save his life from other damage caused by the hit, but he and his team were there the entire length of recovery to attempt to help Tucker heal and get his leg back to shape, and even sent us get well cards. Ultimately the damage was too severe, and Tucker's leg had to be amputated.
Tucker was back to normal in no time at all, and doesn't even notice that his front leg is gone. He still acts like a big puppy and plays all the time, goes for runs with me and is just as happy as ever, and even after all this time everyone at Central Valley Vet recognizes him.
My best friend's life was saved because of the care and attention given by Dr. Raj and his team. I would recommend anyone here, if not for the amazing work but also for the level of care provided. I wish I could rate them higher.

He is aAmerican bulldog and I knew he had bad teeth had it ever since he came home we did our best to keep him healthy and brush his teeth but it was a little too bad
We made appointment for him at the Central Valley Vet for routine dental check up and update vaccine. We found out that we will definitely need to have multiple teeth extracted Dr. Rogers was really kind and assured me that I should not feel guilty and they would take care of him
We made an appointment for surgery in the next available date and they gave us all breakdown of the projected cost of surgery
Dr. Rogers even called during the surgery to give us a full estimate and told us about how many teeth had to be extracted
Bo ended up losing 8 but he was a new dog after a couple of days He has always been very affectionate and now he's just ridiculous eating like a horse and his breath no longer smell like a rotting carcass
Theyhave a great offer office and are super responsive and good about calling to make sure you won't miss your appointment.Place is very clean and neat and all my pets since my first visit have always been very comfortable at this place

I was so nervous taking my baby in to a new Vet for more than a minor procedure. The staff here was pleasant and helpful on the phone and great in person. They interacted with my dog and truly seemed to care. Dr. Raj is top notch. Very professional and kind. The cost was a bit more than I'd hoped to pay, but then again, I guess you do get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend Central Valley Animal Hospital, to any pet owner.

I just can not say enough great things about this vet office. I went there for the first time 1-1/2 years ago. The staff is absolutely amazing. Dr. Raj is the best vet I have ever had the opportunity to met. Michigan has their incredible Dr. Pol, Manteca has it's own incredible Dr. Raj. I have had 3 emergency visit with his office. His kindness and understanding is beyond words. You feel like family when you go there. The staff are all friendly and great you as you walk in the door. I am so happy that I found a vet that truly cares about my fur-babies. I would never go anywhere else.

We just love Dr. Raj!!! He is the best vet I've met by far. Sometimes you have to wait a while to be seen, but I drive 25 miles and wait just to see Dr. Raj. He is very thorough at explaining things and even saved my dog's life when another vet couldn't. Staff is friendly too. Emergencies happen in any type of hospital and when they happen here I don't mind waiting to be seen becuase I know Dr. Raj is giving them the same time, respect and explanations as we get when it is our turn to be seen.

I was brushing my Pet's teeth when I found a large cavity and swollen gums. I panicked. I called my old vet and 3 other vets and none of them seemed alarmed. My cousin told me to try Central Valley vet since she has been living in Manteca for 20 years.
I called Central and got a complimentary exam and was given estimate for dental and extractions . It was very reasonable. Dr Raj was very knowledgeable and had very good bedside manners.
Next I dropped off my pet around 9 am and was received very pleasantly . I was given pick up time of 5 pm.
When I arrived for pickup office was a little bit busy but Hayley took care of my discharge quickly and professionally.
My dog is 2 weeks into dental and he was s chewing his dental bonds like a puppy. I am very satisfied and happy that I found this vet.

My baby girl loves to play at the dog park. One day she met with a bigger dog that didn't find her playful spirit as lovable as everyone else does. She ended up having a few cuts, some bruises, and was very shaken up, as well as myself. I panicked and threw her in my car and rushed to the closest vet that was open. I called them on my way there and they told me to go ahead and let them know when we got there so that someone could help me bring her in if I needed the extra help. When I got there, the wonderful receptionist put me and my baby right into a room. Both the technician and Dr. Raj came into the room as I was filling out paper work to make sure she was ok. They gave her a quick once over and even put a bandage on her head because her ear had a nice cut on it. The doctor even came in to give her an injection for pain so that she could be more comfortable. Soon after, they gave me an estimate to have her mildly sedated, have her wounds cleaned up, and give her antibiotics and pain medications to take home to ensure that nothing got infected. I was able to pick her up just a little bit later, and despite her new hair cut, she was good as new! Everything healed up beautifully, she got her few sutures taken out two weeks later, she finished all of her medicine and she still loves going to the dog park and playing with the other dogs. I will definitely be returning here for any of her other medical needs!

There is not a vet I would recommend any higher than Dr. Raj. We have been going to him for years and years with all of our 9 dogs, 4 cats, geese, ducks even my cockatiel. His diagnosis have always been right on 99% of the time, without all the tests. But, I still have them all done, just to be sure. Furthermore, we have had some very unusual afflictions with our dogs, and when he feels it is better served by someone whose only field was what my dog had, he recommends a specialist. And, both of the specialists were magnificent! He has shown us nothing but compassion and caring. His regular staff are well versed in their jobs and do them well. The extended hours are very convenient for us.I know that some have had to wait in the office a bit more than they expected, but I can say with all confidence, that it is because he had to take another animal in as an emergency, and had to devote time to that one first, maybe to avoid the pet dying immediately. I do believe the wait times are just as they would be with your regular physician most times. They do not mind answering questions, regardless of the topic, on the phone. And, their fees charged are much less than anyone else around, as I have checked.I have been in the surgery rooms, I have been in the kennel area and all are very clean and organized. I have no qualms what so ever about this clinic or Dr. Raj.

Our 4yo lab retriever was showing symptoms of bloat (scary!) so I made a frantic call to Central Vet Hospital at 7pm on a Friday night (near closing) and they told me to bring him in right away, no hesitations or other questions asked.
After meeting with Dr. Raj, he ruled out bloat from a physical exam but he wanted to do some x-rays to be certain there wasn't something else going on... and they ended up finding a large splenic tumor that was estimated to be 6lbs (!!!). As any other dog parent can imagine, seeing the x-ray image with a massive tumor taking over his entire abdomen was heart shattering but I can't express how thankful I am for the vet techs who gave me Kleenex and positive vibes. The radiology report was sent for a second opinion which came back with the same diagnosis... Splenic tumor that ultimately required emergency surgery.
Dr. Raj professionally and realistically explained the situation and our options and put everything on the table transparently. Though the procedure to remove the tumor was risky, we only saw one option and we weren't giving up on our boy! Surgery it was - which was a total splenectomy. I also want to point out that the surgery was clearly not scheduled, but Dr. Raj and his team stayed past midnight on a Friday night to complete the procedure. This speaks volumes!!
I got a call around midnight that night with an update that the surgery was complete, Dexter was awake but he had lost a lot of blood during the procedure. Dr. Raj invited me to the vet hospital so I could visit with Dexter and I can't tell you how much I appreciated that chance, as I wasn't sure if it would be the last time. When I got to the hospital I saw just how much they genuinely cared for him - he had tons of blankets around him, a couple heated water bags etc and he was comfortable. This reassured me that he was in the best possible hands. The next morning I got the great news that he pulled through the night and we could come visit him again later that day and take him home that night!
Dr. Raj went over the details of the surgery and explained the reality of what we were dealing with. Dexter's spleen had already ruptured so if they hadn't performed the splenectomy that night, he would not have made it. I can't emphasize enough how grateful we are for his expertise and quick decision making that ultimately saved our boy! The next step was sending the tumor for biopsy to see if it was cancerous. We were given information on both types of splenic tumors (cancerous and noncancerous) so we had an idea what to prepare ourselves for. Dr. Raj was optimistic but realistic, which I appreciate more than words can say.
Flash forward two weeks, Dexter is cancer free and recovering like a champ! His incision is healing beautifully with no issues or complications. All in all, the entire team at Urban Central Valley Vet has been incredible (shout out to Kim - Dexter absolutely loved her!) and I would recommend Urban Vet Hospital to anyone and everyone. They treated Dex as if he was their own which is soo comforting. Being new to central valley I can't express how thankful I am that we chose Central vet Hospital during this critical time. To the entire vet team - THANK YOU!! We will definitely be bringing Dexter back in the future!

I took my 10 year old yorkie in to get a lump on her stomach checked out. I was very concerned because of her age and it was a good size. When I went in the staff was so friendly. When Dr. Raj came in he introduced himself and did a full exam, and also pointed out her teeth, which I knew have been an issue as well. I told him I was concerned about her going under because of her age. He reassured me it was the safest kind of sedation possible. We also ran a chemistry blood test to make sure she was okay to put under and said we could put her on IV's as well. I never felt so comfortable leaving my dog in someone elses hands. The surgery went fantastic with no complications. I am never trusting anyone but Dr Raj and his staff with my pets health again.

I had taken my dog fluffy here to get dental cleaning. My dog had really bad breath and some teeth that needed to be removed. I had a great experience in the room with the technicians and the doctor. Every one is super friends and showed like they cared about my pets well being. When i came to pick my pet up he was a little out of it from the sedation which is normal. They had all the paper work ready and all his medication done and ready which I really liked. It showed really good organization. Needless to say I will be bringing my pet here from now on because of the excellent care my pet got.

When my wife and I got our two dogs (Pomeranian & Chihuahua) we needed to find a new vet. We googled an foundCentral Valley Veterinary Hospital. I have to say that I'm glad I used google for this search because we think we found our Vet.
We first took them for a doggie checkup after only having them for a week. While the parking lot can be a bit bigger, the facilities here are nice and clean. a bit bigger, the facilities here are nice and clean. The staff here is friendly and helpful. Even though it's just one waiting room (I know some places have 1 for Cats & 1 for Dogs) it's a decent size. Once called you go to one of the 4 rooms in the back. I've been to about 3 or 4 of them and they each have a different animal theme. They were all clean and didn't smell like a kennel.
My dogs are a bit skittish around strangers but the vet here was very nice and pleasant. He took the time to check out each dog despite their yapping and everything checked out fine with my two new doggies. We got them set up on their vaccination schedule and came back here several times for their shots. I think what was best was that he took the time to talk to me about the dogs and their general welfare. There was ZERO pressure to get "extras" and his only recommendation was if we go to Gold Country that we might want to consider heartworm medication, but since it was the only occasional trip, he didn't think we needed it.
We also did come in for a doggie emergency when the Pomeranian scratched his eye. I believe it was Dr. Bruno that saw our dog, and as mentioned, she was very nice about it and didn't rush us to get any unnecessary extras. Our dog ended up find though he did struggle the first few times we put the drops in. We came back about a week later and Dr. Bruno said that our dog was just fine and he healed very quickly.
One of the bonus about Central Valley Veterinary Hospital is that they have very work friendly hours. So for those of us who work, they have hours up until I believe 8:30. If I had one complaint, their prices are high. We had to changed our appointment at CvVH to get our dogs neutered to EBSPCA because their prices were double. I believe the price was $185 for each dog where as at the EBSPCA it was $100 each.

I have not seen a rip off I wanted some meds to calm my dog down when she was in a car they charged me $60.00 for this Med on line it was $11.00 and her ears seen to be problem so I got a ear wash $20.00 and another Med for ears another 20.00 on both meds where $4.00 to $5.00 on line I do understand they have to make profit but to rip you off like that is just not right so they wanted to do a blood test which that was another $120.00 cuz the bill was $275.00 plus office call I called in to tell them the meds are not calming her down they told me sorry that's all we can do I was thinking oh don't want to help me cuz you not getting my pocket I'm not happy with them in your respond you told me there was nothing you can do for me so I write a post and you tell me I can came and talk to the dr again make up your mind oh another office call?? I called today to see if my dog could be fit in for an emergency my pet could not breath and I was really freaking out he was turning blue !!! The receptionist told me to come in right away ! Doctor Raj was the doctor treating my pet; he had my baby put on oxygen therapy to get his color back and it worked !! Doctor Raj recommended an x ray incase there is something blocking his air ways . Little did I know my dog got into the garbage and ate a chicken bone ! :( they went into emergency surgery and removed the bone stuck in his air way. All in all DOCTOR RAJ saved my dog ! Thank you Central Valley and all your staff for all your hard work and going above and beyond for me and my dog

Several years ago we were on vacation on the Delta when my Great Dane cut her leg. It was 9pm and we grateful that we found a vet with such late night hours and they took good care of our girl. So last year we moved to Manteca and until recently, had not needed vet services but when the same dog developed a lump on her leg, we decided to go back to CVVH. So exactly 1 month ago I made an appt to have her leg looked at and get a nail trim. It appeared to be a swollen joint to the untrained eye. I was told that nothing looked dislocated and that it was probably just arthritis because she is 9 and without an x-ray they couldn't tell for sure. When I asked about doing the x-ray they told me that they couldn't do it now and I should just make another appt to come back for an x-ray if it got worse. I thought that was odd since the lump was the original reason for my appt, but oh well, they gave me what I thought was good news. Unfortunately it did get worse... due to extenuating circumstances (in a review coming to you soon), I chose NOT to return to CVVH and took my sugarface to Northgate. They were able to preliminary diagnose by touch and x-rays confirmed that my baby girl has bone cancer with only a few months left. Interestingly the vet at Northgate actually mentioned that she was "surprised CVVH thought it was arthritis due to the hardness and placement" of the lump. My theory (not Northgates) is that my dog never got past the nail clippers to have someone really look at her leg or they are completely incompetent with this type of diagnostics. Either way, I would definitely suggest that you think twice about using this facility.UPDATE 3/14 8:55 pm: In response to CVVH comment: A miscommunication on the type of appt requested is possible however after recent events, I am leaning more towards the fact that this type of "miscommunication" is a pattern in this facility. I realize that this is a negative review which might put anyone on the defensive but I would also like to point out the lack of compassion in the response. I just found out my baby that was seen in your facility is dying and yet, there is no condolences for our heartache. My question to the readers is, is this someone you want to caring for your pet?

The lobby is clean and organized, parking is ample, staff is friendly, professional and courteous - even offered water for the puppies and us during our less than 30 minute office visit for two puppies! Paris's exam was first, she is 2 years old. Dr Raj was very thorough and patient with her as visits are stressful for her. Her pedicure was fast, professional and pain free. Little Leo, 15 weeks old, was next. Dr. Raj was very thorough with Leo's first visit since he has been home with us. Leo received a vaccination, the vet techs administer the injections in another room. I am not overly comfortable with the animals leaving the room for injections but I'm sure if I requested that they inject in the exam room that they would accommodate. Dr. Raj has an admirable background with his internship being at Auburn University-one of the best animal clinics and emergency hospitals in the US. His communication is clear, precise and explains when you ask for more detail. A lot of emergency resources on site.The rates are competitive, hours are EXCELLENT, location is convenient, additional office in Brentwood. Very happy with my initial visit.

I was very disappointed with this clinic. I chose this clinic based on the reviews. I do believe I just had multiple poor experiences here. First poor experience was our at our pups 1st exam. There was no running water, no soap, and no hand sanitizer. How are they going to prevent the risk of spreading infection to a pup who is not fully vaccinated? The 2nd horrible experience was when I gave the front office receptionist my pups paperwork on his vaccinations of what he had done with the breeder. She told me he needed a deworming and parvo shot. Trusting her judgement, because I trusted them to guide me in keeping my pup healthy. They went ahead and gave him what was recommended. I insisted looking at puppy vaccination form of what he had prior from the breeder. That took me a while to understand the terminology. I found out that he already had the 2 that was recommended prior to bringing him in. So when I called them to ask them about it they said if he has had to many dewormings his nervous system could shut down. OK I was extremly upset. I asked for and office manager to call me back and at least credit the deworming vaccine. No call at all.... ever. No apology. I don't believe the front office receptionist shouldn't be making executive decisions if she has no clue what they are doing. Irresponsible and negligent. Thank goodness my pup was ok. 3rd poor experience was recently. My pup became sick and I had some fecal test that came up negative. I asked for the Dr. to give me a call back and nothing .After attempting to leave him 2 messages, I decided to take my pup somewhere else and he needed emergency surgery and possibly could have died. Poor communication with pet owners. If I am going to choose a clinic for my dog I want open communication, especially if I am going to be spending a lot of money. I would like to have a good relationship with the Vet Doctors.

The pricing is cheap and this is a good place for your basic needs. My dog had to have a toe amputated and Dr. Raj performed the surgery, however he did not amputate it back far enough, so the toe kept breaking open, bleeding, and oozing after walks or activities. Not long after the amputation, my clumsy pup hurt his leg. So, I brought him to Dr. Raj and he dismissed it as a "sprain." After seeking a second opinion it turned out he had a torn MCL and his toe was not amputated back far enough. Since having the surgeries performed at the new vets, I have not had a problem with his toe or ligament. Dr. Raj was my vet for all my pets up until this. This is a great place to get your basic needs met, but I'm not confident in their orthopedic experience.

I have taken my dogs to This vet for over 10 years. Today I had an emergency with my miniature schnauzer. He hasn't been feeling well and today he wouldn't get up. He is a very energetic 6 year old pup. My husband and j went back and forth about what we should do and ultimately decided our dog needed to be seen as an emergency. I made the phone call, explained the problem and was told by the receptionist that they were all booked for the day. I couldn't believe that they wouldn't squeeze in a longtime customers emergency. The guy did tell me I could get an appointment for tomorrow I called Manteca Veterinary Hospital. We took our boy right down. They were concerned and had us immediate bring him. I will be using MVH from now on.

Dr. Raj is about s straight shooter as you get. We've taken all our pets here for years and have never had any problems. We took Girlie in a few years back and she needed major surgery on her ears. Dr. Raj was upfront and said it may come back later in time but he was confident it would relieve her pain for a good while. Well she started in again a month ago and I figured there goes a grand or more but there would be no alternatives so in we went. Quick office visit and flushing her ears and that was that. She simply had an infection. Now we had no clue what was wrong and brought up the thought her condition returned so he coulda easily taken us for a ride and we wouldn't know the difference. But then again his honesty and caring about our little friends is why we have stuck with him for over a decade now.

I brought my dog here for allergies this was 4th time for same issue unfortunately the last and final time. I'm never bringing my dog here again I had an appointment at 6 I wasn't seen until 7 then the vet didn't even look at her really didn't even lay a hand on her to examine her body just told me that they could do a skin scraping (which you can't witness nor had they even mentioned in the visits prior ) proceeded to take a large sample off the scab on her nose but didn't bother checking anywhere else I honestly think that the tech did that pulling her into the back room because the vet said they scrapped her abdomen so he didn't even know if that's the case. I had to beg them to put something on the wound since it was much larger and bleeding so it didn't get infected. The vet prescribed meds which he kept mentioning were pricey and when I asked for a prescription to possibly purchase somewhere else he assured me it was a new med only the vet hospitals carried it. I came so find that was a lie and basically cost 4 times less on petmeds.com. Bottom line I gave her the meds 25 min later she became more inflamed and red I called the tech said please bring her back some other tech that hadn't even seen her said she looked the same so I left I was so done with that place I got a second opinion and they said in fact looked and sounded like an allergic reaction to them gave her an injection and said to watch for any new symptoms thankfully my pup is resting now but I will be taking her elsewhere from now on

They go out of there way to help, with extras at no cost, and any way they can help to make sure you and your animals stay is very good for both animals and their families!! I wish I could give 10 stars! Dr raj and all the staff at Central Valley, has always taken amazing care of our fur babies. The staff up front has always been warm and welcoming. I give a lot of credit to these girls, because it's usually busy there but they still get us taken care of as fast as they can and still with a smile all while answering at least 10 phone calls in between! Now to Dr. Raj and the technicians, they have always been thorough and not just try to gouge me for money. They always give us all out options and price accordingly, which trust me is very reasonable compared to so many other vets I've taken our pets to. Dr. Raj is very good at explaining to us the findings of his exams and he's very compassionate when working with them. It never feels like I'm at a car dealership where everyone is trying to sell me stuff, it's not like that all. Other vets I've been to always want to upsell their products such as flea control, shampoo, etc. All in all after trying so desperately to find a vet where I felt comfortable with AND was cost efficient I've finally found it and I'll never take my pets anywhere else. Thank you Central Valley!!!

Bunnies can be very complicated animals to do surgery on but I was assured from the staff that the vet had plenty of experience neutering rabbits.Our foster bunny came through surgery with flying colors! 24 hours later and he's eating like a champ and resting. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The office is clean and comfortable. If you have a rabbit who needs to be neutered or spayed, I'd highly recommend this clinic. Not only are their prices very reasonable, but they are professional and very good at what they do!

I take all 3 of my cats to Central Valley and am always greeted with a smile, the service is always great, the fees are reasonable.
My most notable experience was taken in a sick wild cat who the clinic took care of and only accepted payment for the shots we gave the cat, not charge for the vet to take care of him.
I love this clinic and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves their pet.

We have been taking our two dogs to Central Valley since moving to Kelowna. Dr Geri has really helped with our one dog who has not adjusted well to our new house. She has researched various remedies and prescribed a medication that has turned his behavior around. This diagnoses was not easy and her hard work enabled a positive, cost effective cure. I would whole heartedly recommend this clinic to anyone wanted superior care.

We took our beloved family dog there when he blew a disc in his back. Dr. Raj was very honest and through with us. He gave us time to wish him well and give us time to wish him well. we opted for surgery and thought he go the best care possible, due to previous neurological trauma, he didn't make it. we were devastated, and i believe the staff there was too. we received a lovely card to delivered to our house a few days later. I've lost many dogs over the years but no vet clinic has ever offered that kind of compassion ans care. I know if ever have another major medical issue with a dog, we will go there first. If I could give this vet zero stars, I would. I brought my dog in a month ago because he was very sick, not eating and very old, so it was his time. I couldn't bare to see him in pain any longer. Like a lot of pet owners, he was my son and we were very close. A procedure that should've taken a few minutes took over a half an hour!! The vet evidently didn't put the catheter in correctly in his front paw. He administered the liquid which helps the pet pass quickly and it didn't take. The vet continually tried to administer it to save face knowing full well it wasn't going to take, because he felt the catheter slip out his first try (which he admitted when my poor pet did not pass). He then apologized and was literally shaking stating that he needed to put in another catheter in his back leg. I was furious!!! My poor dog was terrified and in pain. He asked that I leave the room to shave his back leg and put another one in (which I know hurt and confused my pet). He then put the liquid in the back catheter and it worked quickly. While my best friend lye dead on the table, the vet immediately offered me my new puppy (when I choose to replace him) free xrays and shots. The audacity!!! He has no bedside manner, no professionalism and to to make it all worse, he still charged me for sitting in on the procedure and the catheter itself!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE. I still have nightmares.

When i got there i was told by the doctor that the best thing to do was just put her down because he didn't believe that the plasma infusions and anything would work that would of cost thousands of dollars. Even though it was a hard thing for us to do we knew the doctor was right and he was very helpful and loving and helped us through it. The best verterinary place i have been to. They tell it as it is which is what i like

When I entered this location, the entire room was dark and 100% empty. Nothing but furniture. I waited for fifteen minutes before I finally called out for some help. After a few more minutes passed by, somebody finally came out and told me to wait a little longer for her to help me. When she finally finished what she was doing on her computer, she was very rude and didn't seem to care to elaborate when she answered my questions about the facility. I was officially turned off by the facility and the front desk alone. If the front desk lady is going to act completely apathetic and the whole facility is going to look like a ghost town, then why would I feel comfortable leaving my beloved animals there? I'm deeply disappointed.

Central Valley is not like that. They are the kind, caring people you feel comfortable leaving your animals with.
