Hi. I have taken all 3 of my previous dogs here and am now on my fourth dog here. We found Dr. Hinnebaugh when my dog could not stand up for some reason. We took her to three different vets with one even recommending an MRI and all kinds of expensive tests. My husband finally got a recommendation from a guy at work to go see Dr. Hinnebaugh. Dr. Hinnebaugh gave her a shot of anti-inflammatory in her hind legs and she was literally up in 20 minutes. That is all she needed. Eventually, I started bring all of my pets here. Dr. Hinnebaugh has always being compassionate and caring and has never strung me along. He was very compassionate when it was time to put my dog down, never rushed me and said he will do whatever I feel is best, save him for a few more weeks or put him down. He gave me his opinion but it was ultimately up to me. I really like all of his staff, receptionist, the two young men that assist him. He is very expensive but to me its worth it because he always gets to the bottom of things and is honest and true animal lover. Read Less

I wish we would have started coming here sooner! We wasted so much time and money at another vet, where we would get conflicting advice depending on which vet we got that day. Only one vet here, and he and all of the staff are wonderful. They all really care about you and most importantly, your pet(s). I have found their pricing on Bravectco to be significantly lower than other vets and they are very fair with their other pricing. They have been so kind to us and our pets. Our regular veterinarian couldn't make the time of day for us today when we had an urgent issue after our two dogs were ruff housing. We've done and found a new vet that cares. This office too only has one doctor in on Saturdays but they made time for us and took awesome care of our Ruby. Thank you! We now have a new veterinarian office for our pets. Read Less

My dog went in for an allergic reaction he explained to us calmly what was going on and what was best to do for him. It is a small clinic but staff and doctors were great! Attended my dog with care. Also isn't too expensive which is another plus. Read Less

Just finished with an exam for my cat over there and for sure will never go back. As others have said, the vet assistants and front desk staff are super nice. But Dr. Hinebaugh literally just rolled his eyes at me when I answered one of his questions about my cat. I grew up on a large animal farm in Oregon. We are talking 100-200 different kinds of animals at any given time. I learned early on what things need a vet and what things don't. But my poor cat is 13 years old and he has an aural hematoma, something I actually haven't dealt with before. So I bring him in to basically get it drained as I don't have needles just sitting around my house. If I did, I would have done it myself. He immediately starts berating me that my cat has horrible teeth. Yes, he does have horrible teeth. And breath. But he's 13 years old, he weighed in at nearly 14lbs, and the vet tech just finished telling me how healthy looking he was. So it's not something that is clearly causing him to lose weight or be sick. Also, I'm here for an ear issue. He wouldn't drain it and suggested surgery and another surgery to fix his teeth. I said I would need to think about it but definitely wouldn't do anything with his teeth. As I'm telling him he's had teeth missing since we pulled him off the street as a kitten, he rolls his eyes at me and hastily leaves. Wow, really? I've known a lot of vets in my life, I've never had anyone so blatantly treat me like I'm a complete idiot who doesn't know their own animal. I'm not a vet. I'm coming to you for advice and experience. A good bedside manner is part of that. And honestly, if he'd been nice about it, I would have seriously considered the surgeries. I had to take my cat in for a urinary tract infection. The staff is very friendly the clinic was very neat and clean. Dr. Hinebaugh was able to diagnose and treat my cat with little stress on my cat and at a really good price! These folks are nice and fair priced. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE TODAY !!!I was here from out of town for Christmas when my dog started having a seizure.I brought my tiny 6 year old Yorkie in at about 10:30 this morning basically dehydrated, unconscious, limp and seizing. Instead of calling a tech out immediately to take her back for emergency triage the front desk girl went to the back, came back and had us start filling out paperwork. There were other people in the waiting room but none were emergency. I kept standing there waiting with my dog barely clinging to life and the girl named Becky came out a couple of times to give medication instructions to others but not once even acknowledging me! The receptionist told me "Becky" would be right back out. We wasted 15 minutes before "Becky" called me into an exam room and closed the door. Without even so much as glancing at my dog she said, "...the problem is we close in an hour." At the point I lost it and told her I was going elsewhere where they truly cared! I told her she was critical and should have been taken immediately upon arrival! I told her she had wSted critical time making us wait. She "huffed" at me as I walked out the door and went immediately to Pet Medical Center where they took her for triage, gave her Sub Q fluids, checked her blood glucose , gave her dextrose, explained in detail what was going on and even gave me their supplies so I could do 6 more subquetaneous fluid injections if necessary! They were amazing! They did this all in 45 minutes and with such compassion. I was only charged $200! More than reasonable. They gave me nutrcal too. Do not go to Granada Veterinary Clinic!!!!! They do not really care about sick animals, only that it's Chrstmas Eve and they are closing at noon! Read Less

We had gone in once a week for 4 weeks for my 7year old chihuahua and saw a female doctor, who's name I forget, and she was insistent that he was just suffering from allergies, by the time we saw Dr. H my dog went from 8.3lbs to 7.1lbs he was as sick as ever and it was very clear to Dr. H it was not allergies the recommended us to a wonderful specialist and we're still waiting back for news, this vet can be pricey and the hours are hard to work with but the staff is pretty much why we keep coming back. Becky is the most wonderful down to earth person ever! When I thought my dog was going to die she was there to pat my should while I hugged my dog. Read Less

Amazing nurses and helpful doctors. Took my pup for parvo sickness, at first the nurse seemed mean for kicking out my dog, but i later understood it was for the virus to not spread. They took very good care of my dog and he is doing so much better. I recommend this vet clinic to anyone reading this. Fabulous vet. I've been with them for about 25 year, with cats and dogs. I had one adopted cat who got lymphoma and with Dr. Heinbaugh's care, he lived for nearly 3 years after diagnosis. They are very caring and I love the entire staff. Read Less

I've been coming to this clinic for about 5 years now, and I think it was mainly due to the wonderful staff. Becky, Denise, and the male assistant are always friendly and welcoming, and its sad to leave but WOW, what a horrendous experience I just had with that Dr. Hinebaugh. I took my dog in for some issue, and instead of being that "caring" or "empathetic" vet, he was judgmental, condescending, and very rude. He was basically saying my dog is underweight, and he looks "whipped" and i should get better food for him. When i told him i was offended with his attitude, and that the food I've been feeding him is because of his recommendation, he denied it and was absolutely sure he would never ever recommend that brand.  (well luckily somehow, i found that post-it he wrote me few years ago with his recommendations-Taste of WILD).  Its very unfortunate that such lovely staff and people are wasted on such a terrible vet. I took my adopted kitten here based on positive yelp reviews. The receptionist was very friendly so was the guy who took us into the room. My problem was how rude the vet was. He did not treat me with any respect at all and treated me like I was a child. Just because I am younger does not mean you treat me disrespectfully. I have never been so appalled. I want to say thank you to Granada Vet Clinic! I came to them for a second opinion on my dog's condition. His legs were very weak and he could no longer walk a couple steps without falling. We did an X-ray and found what was wrong with him. After considering the situation, potential treatment and potential outcome they helped me come to the decision that it was time to put him down. Everyone here is amazing and you can feel that they truly care. I can't even describe how amazing Becky is. She came out to our home to put down our puppy and she was very patient and gentle. I will forever miss my baby Bailey but I now know that he is in a better place and no longer in pain. I will be back here one day when I can allow myself to love another puppy. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. They have saved my dog's life, provided OUTSTANDING care to my pets and always have competitive rates. After running into some downright dirty vets in the Santa Clarita area, I was recommended to them from some family members. Their staff is friendly, professional and courteous and I have never had an issue. If your pet stays overnight, they keep you up to date about their conditions and truly understand that your pet is apart of your family. They always remember my name, my pets and ask about my family. After getting burned by a couple different vets in the LA area, we have become a bit skeptical of the industry. When Dr. Hinebaugh was recommended to us by a very dog savvy couple (who also, in fact, travel 2 hrs from their home just to see him), we decided to give him a try. Dr. Hinebaugh was everything that our friends described. He was knowledgeable, gentle with my pups and put them at ease, very thorough and professional. He offered us sound advice when asked, and didn't try to push any products or procedures on us which we very much appreciated.  The staff was more than helpful and very attentive as well. We were very happy with our experience at Granada Vet, and are more than happy to make the trek from downtown to their office for the sake of our pups (not very fun when you have a 5pm appointment!).
