The BEST vet! We drive all the way from Dana Point because of the incredible and sincere care Dr Bahou gives to his clients (we've been going to his office for years). He spends a good amount of time with you and your animal, even getting down on the floor to build trust with your pet before poking/prodding them. He gives very thorough explanations and never tries to up-sell you for unnecessary work/meds. We have full trust in him and his wonderful team and bring all of our animals (cats and dogs) to their office. Very competitive pricing too! A friend recommended Dr. Bahou, and I am so happy she did. I was looking for a vet to remove two small tumors from under my 13-year-old dog's eye and another large one on her ear. I was concerned about her being under anesthesia, and also about the price. Having just moved back to Orange County last year, I was shocked at the price of vets and really needed someone trustworthy whom I could afford. Dr Bahou is all that and more. He is kind, caring, competent and affordable. Not only did he get the tumors out quickly, but he did it in such a way that there will be no scarring. My wonderful boxer mix was up and alert right after surgery and we had no complications at all. We even boarded her with them a few days later when we had to go out of town and the staff loved her and played with her throughout the weekend. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Bahou. I have been bringing my furry children to Dr. Bahou for years. We first found Alisos Animal Hospital when we were asked to never come back to another animal clinic. I have a large, oddly strong cat. I took him to this other animal clinic, where he pooped, vomited and drew blood from all around while being examined. That was when we were asked to leave without anything to treat the UTI my kitty had. We then went to Dr. Bahou, who with no fear, picked up this fierce, bowling ball of a cat, kissed him on the head, and said that he was just grumpy. The staff at Alisos Animal Hospital were able to exam him without incident. We left there with medication to help him and no one was pooped or vomited on. It was amazing! Since then all of my other furry kids have been there for different things and it is very clear, everyone there loves animals and takes very good care of them.Read Less

I have gone to Alisos Animal Hospital since it opened and could not recomend a more caring concerned Vet and his staff. I have two black Chow Chows, and most Vets really do not want to treat them, let alone befriend them. Dr. Dave has been the best Vet with the attitude of doing what is best for your pet. I couldn't begin to explain what a breath of fresh air he is and his staff in treating our two Chows. Dr. Bahou is really on top of it when it comes to putting your pet's best interest first. I do not agree with the negative comment at all, especially if you had taken your pet there for over a year! Really? I totally recomend Dr. Bahou and his staff. Do NOT visit them for a holistic vet consultation. They charged me $100 and said my dog would be examined for an hour. I got no more than 10 minutes of DR time. Most the time was me explaining all the chemicals the other vets wanted to shove down his throat. THEY FREAKIN CAME BACK WITH $200 INVOICE OF MEDICINE, THE SAME STUFF I JUST TOLD THEM I DON'T WANT TO GIVE TO HIM THAT WASN'T WORKING!!!. WORST VET VISIT EVER AND WORST EXPERIENCE. Dr. Bahou is a caring veterinarian who is also a skilled surgeon. My labrador had a tumor just outside her eye. He removed it and did such a beautiful job, I joked that I wished he would give me an "eye lift", too. He has donated food, medication, and supplies for the pets of homeless pet owners. He has also donated his time and expertise.My experiences with Dr. Bahou have always been positive and he has treated each of my dogs with compassion.
