BrightCare Animal Neurology and Imaging is a world-class veterinary center and the most advanced veterinary neurology and neurosurgery hospital in Southern California. The practice is led by Dr. Gorgi, a highly-trained and experienced, Board-Certified Veterinary Neurologist who is also a world leader in the field of veterinary neurology/neurosurgery.
We are the first and only veterinary center in Southern California to offer state-of-the-art stereotactic neuro-navigation that allows us to perform less invasive and more accurate brain surgeries.
Dogs and cats can suffer from many of the same brain, spinal cord and neuromuscular problems that humans do. These all fall into the specialty of neurology/neurosurgery and include a wide range of disorders – seizures (epilepsy), ruptured discs, spinal cord injuries, head trauma, brain tumors, etc. Although neurological disorders sometimes cause great distress for pets and owners, many of these problems can be treated very successfully.
