Such an amazing group of people. What they do isn't a job, it's their passion, and it shows in every aspect of your visit. Dr. McCarthy and her staff helped me say goodbye to my two cats, and their empathy and compassion truly eased the pain of the process.
The entire staff is very experienced and knowledgable. They are proactive and emphasize the importance of holistic and preventative medicine. Dr. McCarthy is also great at helping me find food and medicines that are within my budget. I am a client for life.

Dr. McCarthy is a top-notch vet! We trust her knowledge and experience to care for our dogs. I brought one of our dogs in last week because of bloody stools, along with prolonged diarrhea. Dr. McCarthy and her staff performed in examination and lab testing; explained findings; gave recommendations; and prescribed meds. 8 days later, my dog has fully recovered and is back to her healthy self. I highly recommend Dr. McCarthy as your pet's vet. Also her staff are wonderful and the facility is clean and safe! I have only positive thoughts to express!!! Thank you Dr. McCarthy and staff!!!

Dr. McCarthy and her staff are such caring and wonderful people. Our dog was attacked by a pitbull/mastiff mix. We brought him into the clinic and he went straight into surgery. The surgery and follow up care was not only superb, but also very inexpensive. Another vet in the area said she would have charged me $2000 more than Dr. McCarthy did for the same surgery and follow up care. Two weeks after the attack, our darling dog is his old self--I credit Mission Hills Pet Care Center for their fast service and excellent after care. I am so glad that I found this place!!

I usually don't write reviews I think everyone has their own opinions and every experience is different and unique but I am beyond words happy that I was referred to Mission Hills Pet Care Center!! Dr. McCarthy is passionate, caring, attentive and I could go on and on! She isn't rushed or rushing she cares. Most other experiences at other vets were rushed money pits and this is the complete opposite here! Dr. McCarthy and her team are willing to help and are all so amazingly sweet! This will be my life long vet I came to her looking for a second opinion and from a referral from a friend and it was that first trip that set the stone for the future! For the last couple years the Maltese has been having skin issues, and we couldn't figure out what's wrong...It was breaking my heart to see my dog in such conditions but Dr. McCarthy was very sympathetic and ran a bunch of tests to figure out what's wrong and tests a few different medications to see what works and we finally got it al figured out and my little Maltese looks like a pup again. They don't deserve a star, but fir some reason Yelp doesn't have a better scoring system. My experience with this place was a nightmare. They were strange, rude, dishobest to put it mikdly and the most unprofessional animal care facility I've ever seen and being in animal rescue untill a couple years ago I've been to many. It's a long story, and later Ill include a link to a post with the whole trajuc story but for now I just want to warn people, the girls in the office HATE being called by pet owners who just want to ask how their dog or cats are doing. Both my dogs are up in years, one is 8yrs old and had surgery. In the 1 1/2 weeks my dogs were there I called 3-5 times with questions about their surgery, their general welll being and if they got the food I'd given someone to send for them. Each time I was polite and as never given the impression I was bothering them. But then the woman who recommended this vet for us and who donated towards their vet bill called me and told me this vets office actually called her complaining that I was calling too much. They had exaggerated how often I'd called and this was not the first time they did this to a pet owner. Why they called her rather than talk to me I'll never know, but it spurred a row between this donor and I and resulted in the donor actually stealing my dogs claiming I'm unstable and on drugs. I see now that was just a convenient excuse to take my dogs to exploit them for thousands of dollars. This vets lies gave her the perfect excuse. For all I know the girls working there and the donor are partners in this scam. Anyone else they've done this to I hope will contact me or at least comment here about it. Don't let them get away with it.

I've never seen a pet be excited to go to the vet. My Chloe is however. Dr. Mc Carthy is pretty wonderful. She's been a great help with Chloe. When I first adopted Chloe I was terrified, after losing my Jezi. Dr. Mc Carthy let me come see her as much I needed to help me get over my fears. She even let me come see her everyday for the first couple weeks with my "she sneezing?, runny nose? does that look right?" She was very kind. Chloe flips out in the best way possible when we walk in the door. The staff in general have the biggest hearts. I don't trust Chloe in the hands of anyone else.

Dr. McCarthy and her staff are amazing. She takes the time to really listen to you, thoroughly examine your pet, and gives options for treatment. Her hospital has all of the latest equipment including in house lab work, digital radiograph, and ultrasound to mention a few. My dog was recently hospitalized there for four days and I knew she was in great hands. They allowed me to visit her and the dr always called with updates. She was also available for questions any time I called. Vets like Dr. McCarthy are a rare find these days. The staff is also very helpful, knowledgeable, and compassionate. This is Orange County's new primo veterinary hospital.

On my way home I realized they didn't do any general check-up. Still got charged $150 for a quick visit and some antibiotics. Also, my cat was scared to death the entire time; I didn't really like the 'bedside manner' or the way they physically handled my cat.

Prob one of the most experienced vets out there. Dr. Asaff graduated from Purdue (one of the top vet schools in the nation) and he knew his stuff. But the best thing about this vet was not his degree or his knowledge but his character. He avoided unnecessary treatments, had more of a hollistic approach, and used surgery as a last option. The staff was first class and genuinely loved animals. You just can't get any more complete than Charlinda.

I usually don't write reviews I think everyone has their own opinions and every experience is different and unique but I am beyond words happy that I was referred to Mission Hills Pet Care Center!! Dr. McCarthy is passionate, caring, attentive and I could go on and on! She isn't rushed or rushing she cares. Most other experiences at other vets were rushed money pits and this is the complete opposite here! Dr. McCarthy and her team are willing to help and are all so amazingly sweet! This will be my life long vet I came to her looking for a second opinion and from a referral from a friend and it was that first trip that set the stone for the future! She belongs in this field and it shows! Thank you for all you do and thank you for loving Treasure!!!

For the last couple years the Maltese has been having skin issues, and we couldn't figure out what's wrong...It was breaking my heart to see my dog in such conditions but Dr. McCarthy was very sympathetic and ran a bunch of tests to figure out what's wrong and tests a few different medications to see what works and we finally got it al figured out and my little Maltese looks like a pup again. They don't deserve a star, but fir some reason Yelp doesn't have a better scoring system. My experience with this place was a nightmare. They were strange, rude, dishobest to put it mikdly and the most unprofessional animal care facility I've ever seen and being in animal rescue untill a couple years ago I've been to many. It's a long story, and later Ill include a link to a post with the whole trajuc story but for now I just want to warn people, the girls in the office HATE being called by pet owners who just want to ask how their dog or cats are doing. Both my dogs are up in years, one is 8yrs old and had surgery. In the 1 1/2 weeks my dogs were there I called 3-5 times with questions about their surgery, their general welll being and if they got the food I'd given someone to send for them. Each time I was polite and as never given the impression I was bothering them. But then the woman who recommended this vet for us and who donated towards their vet bill called me and told me this vets office actually called her complaining that I was calling too much. They had exaggerated how often I'd called and this was not the first time they did this to a pet owner. Why they called her rather than talk to me I'll never know, but it spurred a row between this donor and I and resulted in the donor actually stealing my dogs claiming I'm unstable and on drugs. I see now that was just a convenient excuse to take my dogs to exploit them for thousands of dollars. This vets lies gave her the perfect excuse. For all I know the girls working there and the donor are partners in this scam. Anyone else they've done this to I hope will contact me or at least comment here about it. Don't let them get away with it.

I've never seen a pet be excited to go to the vet. My Chloe is however. Dr. Mc Carthy is pretty wonderful. She's been a great help with Chloe. When I first adopted Chloe I was terrified, after losing my Jezi. Dr. Mc Carthy let me come see her as much I needed to help me get over my fears. She even let me come see her everyday for the first couple weeks with my "she sneezing?, runny nose? does that look right?" She was very kind. Chloe flips out in the best way possible when we walk in the door. The staff in general have the biggest hearts. I don't trust Chloe in the hands of anyone else.

Dr. McCarthy and her staff are amazing. She takes the time to really listen to you, thoroughly examine your pet, and gives options for treatment. Her hospital has all of the latest equipment including in house lab work, digital radiograph, and ultrasound to mention a few. My dog was recently hospitalized there for four days and I knew she was in great hands. They allowed me to visit her and the dr always called with updates. She was also available for questions any time I called. Vets like Dr. McCarthy are a rare find these days. The staff is also very helpful, knowledgeable, and compassionate. This is Orange County's new primo veterinary hospital.

We started going there when it first opened. Dr Quadir runs this place along with his other practice in Irvine. He is always caring and knowledgeable. Unlike another Vet in Mission Viejo we went to before here, if Dr Quadir asks to run a test, he always has a good reason. He isn't the cheapest, but I feel comfortable he will do the right thing.

Mixed feelings about this place. Brought my cat in for general check-up and possible ringworm. Turned out to be a result of her own scratching. On my way home I realized they didn't do any general check-up. Still got charged $150 for a quick visit and some antibiotics. Also, my cat was scared to death the entire time; I didn't really like the 'bedside manner' or the way they physically handled my cat.

Prob one of the most experienced vets out there. Dr. Asaff graduated from Purdue (one of the top vet schools in the nation) and he knew his stuff. But the best thing about this vet was not his degree or his knowledge but his character. He avoided unnecessary treatments, had more of a hollistic approach, and used surgery as a last option. The staff was first class and genuinely loved animals. You just can't get any more complete than Charlinda.
