Dr. Tiffany Thompson is absolutely wonderful with the animals and cares so much. We take our cats here and occasionally board them when we are traveling we never worry about them because we know they will receive the best possible care. Have been coming here for almost 10 years. They have taken wonderful care of all of our little zoo, from the first bunny I brought to see her, up to our current menagerie of bunnies, guinea pigs & a dog. We drive 30+ minutes to keep Dr. Thompson as our vet, and we love everyone there. Worst experience EVER! We took our pet there to have her euthanized - a horrible experience in itself, which they at Mission Park successfully managed to make 10x worse. I've read many articles about how animals are treated, especially small ones like dwarf hampsters when they are to be euthanized, and they often are treated very rough when the injection is administered. For this reason we requested that we be present when they do they injection. They told us imphatically "No, its not allowed". We left very emotional and upset --with our Hampster-- and will NEVER bring another pet to this location! Absolutely outraged. From the night before a cat adoption (donation) was to take place, we spoke with the lady who apparently is the coordinator in this very small hospital; Rita Gatto. She assured me once I fill out the application and spoke the next day (which we did both) the kitten was ours for $150. We drove 2.5hrs in traffic, I even called ahead of time, spoke to her once said we are in bad traffic she said quote "take your time, the kitten is here for you". I called when about 15min away left a voicemail as she didn't pick up.We arrive, and were told by someone else they sold the kitten to someone random who just walked in; who did not fill out an app and make 2 phone calls plus emails.Waste of gas, horrible customer service and communication, DO NOT RECOMMEND.If we were told the kitten was ours and we can take our time and arrived 60min late because of traffic (which they were aware) they sold the cat. For almost 17 years now, Dr. Tiffany Thompson and her staff have been absolutely amazing! I could never have asked for more compassionate care being shown to us humans and our pets! There are not words to express our gratitude for everything have have done for our family and fur babies. This place is part of Carma pet rescue.  We found and adopted a kitty from pet co which was from a volunteer group that goes to pet co on certain days to adopt pets.   When we adopted our kitty she had a pre diagnosed condition and being treated for Giardia She was sent home some medication to finish.  When we had her tested she was negative.  Then our new kitty (being very skiddish and timid) started to pee on the couch and our bed. Either from medical (UTI) or behavioral.   After the peeing continued we decided to take her in for a check up.   Since we have been honored to find, work with ,and love such a wonderful kitty we have noticed such a incredible change in her that she is not even the same kitty we adopted.  We have two other cats that fell in love with her instantly.  We couldn't be happier.  She is warming up in our/her home so well.   The peeing has seemed to stop. Which we know things take time and thankfully we have caught it each time.     What I'm most impressed with and the reason for this review is that when I took my kitty in for a UTI test I was more than happy and expected to pay for the visit.    Instead this place took care of the test at no cost to me because she came with a medical condition and they in my eyes wanted to make sure everything was fine.  You guy are the best!!  We couldn't be happier with our new little kitty.  She is so special because she was adopted because we lost one of ours on Aug.     This place truly cares for its patients !! My first time here to bring my dog in for a dental emergency. Spoke to Ann who was able to get us in right away and was very pleasant once we arrived. Dr.Thompson was gentle and kind to my dog and it was very apparent that she genuinely enjoyed her work. I didn't feel as though the doctor would do anything that wasn't necessary to take good care of my dog. There was another girl whose name I didn't get when I picked my dog up later in the day but she was as professional as Ann and Tiffany in explaining what was done to my dog, and why, and about aftercare.  Dr. Thompson followed up with a phone call a couple of days later. Dr. Tiffany is a very compassionate veterinarian who literally saved my cats life! She listens to the patients history and I loved that she does not try to order lots of extraneous diagnostics.  My 10 year old had a history of UTI and kidney issues.   Dr. Tiffany was efficient in treating the cat by her symptoms and she let me take home an IV kit over the long holiday weekend! Therefore I could continue fluid therapy. We switched up diet, got antibiotics and when I left I really did not know if Topaz would make it.   She has turned around after day 4 on antibiotics, has a happy meow now and even started eating 3 x a day.  Very friendly,caring Office staff too.Happy New Year from a very satisfied client. We love Dr. Thompson and her staff. Years ago, she fixed our parrot's broken leg, and we were so pleased with her compassion and demeanor. When another vet at another hospital wanted to put a feeding tube in our cat because he'd stopped eating, we called Dr. Thompson. She put a blob of water under his skin, said he was dehydrated and sent us home with a cat who went on to live 10 more years. We've brought all our dogs, cats and a parrot to her for over 15 years now. We've recommended her to many friends and family and they all go to Mission Park now too. My mom's dog had a horrible, smelly skin condition and her vet recommended putting her to sleep. Dr. Thompson prescribed 2 special shampoos and told us to bathe the dog regularly with them. Problem solved! She lived many, many more years, happy and healthy. We would, and do, highly recommend Dr. Thompson!Read Less

Home Away From HomeSpencer and Frazier have been going to the clinic since I rescued them over 8 years ago.  Time flies.  I've never had a vet where the dogs run into the place, happy to be there, can not wait to get into the back room for all the attention!  Always cracks me up to see it.  I also use the Mission Park Pet Hospital for boarding and it must be like Disneyland judging by how excited the boys are when we get there.I recently had to have Spencer put to sleep.  Dr T, Anne, and the rest of her staff could not have been more thoughtful.  A tough time and they did all they could to lessen the blow.Dr. Tiffany Thompson and her staff are THE BEST!  If you are looking for a vet to try, don't look elsewhere, call, and visit them now! Mission park pet hospital is the best. Very personal service. The staff is wonderful. They are thorough and reasonably priced with top notch care. I will not take my dog anywhere else. The monthly teeth cleaning is so reasonably priced, and non anesthetic. I never worry about something "going wrong". I feel more safe with them than my "people" doctor. Definitely 5 star. Read Less

I took my cat here for care when she was sick and I was extremely pleased with both the vet and the staff.  I have been to several vets over the years, and some of them  rip you off and take advantage.  Dr. Thompson is definitely an honest and professional veterinarian who truly loves animals.
