Worst experience ever! My dogs regular doctor couldn’t get her in before 6/6/21 and my dog was urinating blood and was lethargic for 2 days! I go to standiford vet to have my dog checked out waited in the parking lot for 5 hours without anyone talking to us with updates as to when she would be seen and come around 9:45 PM on 6/1/21 I’m told by staff that I would be another 8-9 hour wait just for my dog to be seen by a doctor! And was handed a sheet of other vets to contact. Why couldn’t I have had this note 5 hours prior???? My dog was suffering and no one cared. When there’s blood in the urine there obviously something wrong. Went to the Turlock 24/7 vet and was seen within 20 minutes of arriving! I will never bring my babies here ever again due to not being looked after and just leaving us hanging in the parking lot for 5 hours!

I love this place, they are reasonably priced and always treat my animals well. Their hold times can be a little long on the phone. But overall great vet, I've been taking my animals here for years now. They were even able to take my border collie in as an emergency visit after he swallowed glass.

Very expensive here and I didn't get what I came for as far as the advice and medical help I needed. I bought my dog's flea medication which I was happy about for a few month's supply. However, I was told I would get a 45 minute skin assessment for my dog like a skin scraping and when I scheduled it, the doctor who told me was not there. Dr. Johnson came in and he was done in 25 minutes and said there was nothing else I needed to do. I asked about my dog's allergies, etc. and got nowhere. So I give this place a 2.5.

Never going here again. The lady in the front desk is not that friendly, she does not even say hello when you walk in the front door. The veterinarians are quite friendly but at my dogs check up, the vet did not check everything. She only checked my dog Daissy's eyes , ears and temperature. We took Daissy for her check up because we were going to board her there because we were going to go on a vacation. When we came back to pick Daissy up from her boarding, she was a mess. She gained weight, threw up her food, and got un-potty trained. She also did not come very happy. Daissy was only a puppy when we brought her there. We think that all they did was lock her in a crate and feed her a bowl of dog food when she needed to be socialized, played with and be fed a smaller amount of dog food. When she came back home, we had to re-start puppy potty training. I don't recommend this place for pet boarding

We recently brought in a German Shepard puppy who would unfortunately gave in to parvo a week later. Now fearing our other dog might have contracted the virus my girlfriend took him to get a booster and check up as I was at work and couldn't leave. The vet was extremely rude and showed no sympathy towards a sleep deprived woman and pup who had spent the last week up caring for a dying puppy. Our dog was extremely stressed out, so the veterinarian and assistant were asked to leave the room, to which they replied "Take that 'choker' off, I don't like those." Which is a training collar, not choker. And then threw a leash at her further aggravating the dog. They never left the room to let him settle down and proceeded to say, with a highly sarcastic "i'm done, we're not doing this!" Then proceeded to belittle and yell at my girlfriend who is in tears at this point, ranting on how she's a bad owner and the dog has severe problems stemming from bad leadership. After 10 minutes of heartless ranting she sarcastically says "Do I need to go make sure the coast is clear so you can leave?" I came home to a crying woman and a pup who could still be sick, after all that has happened the last week. We will no longer be doing business there, and if you are a compassionate owner I would recommend not doing business there as well as they have no compassion themselves. It's all about money and get out.

Your receptionist is extremely rude and I will never come back!!! I was a veterinary assistant for over 6 years I know how things should be done in a clinic and how clients should be treated and addressed on the phone. Your clinic need some major improving!!!! Your front staff needs major training on customer service, pet handling, cleanliness, and professionalism!!!!

The Doctor's and staff are always really nice. Whether they pretend to know, or actually do know our dogs and us personally makes us feel like we are a valued patient. Plus, if something is outside their scope of specialty, they will refer out which makes me believe they are in it for the care factor rather than the money factor.
I would definitely recommend this vet clinic.

My wife and I have four cats, Pumpkin, Deandra, Rosie, and Felix. We have gone to Standiford Vet for over the past 15 years. Dr. Lattig and Dr. Greer have helped us with our cats over the years. We recently lost our oldest cat "Pumpkin" to cancer. Dr. Greer was beautiful in helping us,as it was very hard seeing "Pumpkin" sick and not being able to do anything for her. When we go on vacation we leave our family with Standiford Vet and they take excellent care of them. If we have an emergency they take care of us. Their office staff is very friendly and helpful. We recommend them to anyone that ask for a vet.

Never going here again. The lady in the front desk is not that friendly, she does not even say hello when you walk in the front door. We recently brought in a German Shepard puppy who would unfortunately gave in to parvo a week later. Now fearing our other dog might have contracted the virus my girlfriend took him to get a booster and check up as I was at work and couldn't leave. The vet was extremely rude and showed no sympathy towards a sleep deprived woman and pup who had spent the last week up caring for a dying puppy. Our dog was extremely stressed out, so the veterinarian and assistant were asked to leave the room, to which they replied "Take that 'choker' off, I don't like those." Which is a training collar, not choker. And then threw a leash at her further aggravating the dog. They never left the room to let him settle down and proceeded to say, with a highly sarcastic "i'm done, we're not doing this!" Then proceeded to belittle and yell at my girlfriend who is in tears at this point, ranting on how she's a bad owner and the dog has severe problems stemming from bad leadership. After 10 minutes of heartless ranting she sarcastically says "Do I need to go make sure the coast is clear so you can leave?" I came home to a crying woman and a pup who could still be sick, after all that has happened the last week. We will no longer be doing business there, and if you are a compassionate owner I would recommend not doing business there as well as they have no compassion themselves. It's all about money and get out.

I have been a client with you for over 2 years. I've never thought the service was exceptional just subpar inconveniently located but today put it over the top. Your receptionist is extremely rude and I will never come back!!! I was a veterinary assistant for over 6 years I know how things should be done in a clinic and how clients should be treated and addressed on the phone. Your clinic need some major improving!!!! Your front staff needs major training on customer service, pet handling, cleanliness, and professionalism!!!!

Absolutely the most caring and professional vet in town. From the vet to their technicians, assistants and front desk staff this veterinarian center is absolutely amazing. We were seeing Dr Johnson at his prior facility and got nothing but excellent service there as well!!! Having had a previous pet see the staff at Standiford Veterinarian Center I knew the transition would be easy. Absolutely A+ service!!!!

The Doctor's and staff are always really nice. Whether they pretend to know, or actually do know our dogs and us personally makes us feel like we are a valued patient. Plus, if something is outside their scope of specialty, they will refer out which makes me believe they are in it for the care factor rather than the money factor.
I would definitely recommend this vet clinic.

My wife and I have four cats, Pumpkin, Deandra, Rosie, and Felix. We have gone to Standiford Vet for over the past 15 years. Dr. Lattig and Dr. Greer have helped us with our cats over the years. We recently lost our oldest cat "Pumpkin" to cancer. Dr. Greer was beautiful in helping us,as it was very hard seeing "Pumpkin" sick and not being able to do anything for her. When we go on vacation we leave our family with Standiford Vet and they take excellent care of them. If we have an emergency they take care of us. Their office staff is very friendly and helpful. We recommend them to anyone that ask for a vet.
