Dr. Sweet and his crew are Caring and efficient. Dr. Sweet actually drove to UC Davis to help perform surgery on my beloved horse not only because he wanted to but it help cut the cost down for me. That was four years ago. I’ve been using Dr. Sweet ever sense. We had to go back today to have a mass surgically removed. Dr. did a wonderful job and handled my horse perfectly.

Dr. Dan Sweet and Dr. Kim Hauck are the best in the business. We first met Dr. Dan when he was still at Pioneer Equine, many years ago, before he set up is own facility in Modesto. He used to volunteer his time and knowledge with a clinic for farriers that was held for several years at the Oakdale Rodeo grounds. He is dedicated and knowledgeable, and his facility at Sweet River Equine Clinic is top notch.

Dr.Sandy made an emergency house call for my horse who got caught up in our fence at 3:30 am. She came as soon as she could considering I was an hour away. She worked with my horse like it was her own...
Dr.Sandy made an emergency house call for my horse who got caught up in our fence at 3:30 am. She came as soon as she could considering I was an hour away. She worked with my horse like it was her own. Such a sweet person . I am truly blessed to have found this vet and have someone truly amazing working for them.... thank you so much.

Dr. Sweet is the best doctor for your horses. Not only is he highly skilled and knowledgible, but in my opinion, has the best customer service this side of the Mississippi! My husband and I have trusted our horses to Dr. Sweet on numerous occasions, from routine work, to unexpected ailments, and each visit we feel confidant that we are offering our drafts and saddle horse the best care possible. He is a fantastic vet and truly remarkable human being. I highly recommend Sweet River Equine Clinic and its staff.

We had to take our boy there for a lump in his nose. Turns out he got poked by something and got an infection. They treated us with the best service and made us feel welcome. Thank you to Sweet river equine for your care. My boy is so much better now. I recommend them to everyone with horses.

Love, love, love! Everyone is so fantastic, follow up when they say, and Dr. Buchanan, along with her tech, are always wonderful to my mare. I wouldn't dream of using another clinic.
