Dr. Rodriguez is absolutely the best. He is very kind to pets and very personable. He never rushes you and you can ask him lots of questions. He is very caring and gives you multiple options for treatment. He definitely doesn't try to just sell you a service. He gives his recommendation with your pet's best interest in mind. wow we went there last week for the first time to see Dr. Rodriguez and we were just so super satisfied with how patient and loving he was with our dog. He took the time to explain his situation to us and he was just so caring to our dog (Romo). I highly recommend this animal hospital and I will spread the word to people we know that have animals that this place is just the best I've been to yet. I never ever do reviews but I have to share. I went here a few days ago and it was best vet experience I ever had. Dr. Rodriguez spent so much time examining my puppy and answering my 1,000 questions. My mom has been going to him for years and he is just such a sweet, and honest vet. I can tell he really loves what he does and is passionate about it. The staff was wonderful as well and so pleasant. It does get really busy so making an appointment over the phone can be challenging so going in to make an appointment is probably better. I have been coming to Blue Cross Animal Hospital for about 4 years now. Every time I've been here has been a good experience. The vet is great and their prices can't be beat! So we had to take our Chloe girl to the vet today. She had an exam, an ultrasound, and a urinalysis. The vet (Dr. Sean Rodriguez) spent a good 30+ minutes examining her and explaining everything to me. She was given a 14 day supply of antibiotics. We just came here to buy an oral flea medication for our dogs. The first visit, we didn't bring our dogs because at our primary veterinarian in North Figueroa Hospital, we can just purchase the medication. So we had to come back with our dogs.At this location, they needed us to bring our dogs so they know their exact weight. Bravecto is the name of the medication. The one we usually get is Comfortis. Took both my dogs there for teeth cleaning. Did a good job and price was fair. My dogs doing well. There was a guy tech who talked to me like I was below him but whatever ..... Also, I just made appointment for procedure  over phone with no vet pre check up . .I wish the vet introduced himself . Both times didn't see him. Would of  been nice to meet him. This vet is the BEST!!! I took my dog for ear issue I didn't have appointment but they helped my in less then 20 min I asked a lot of questions vet was so courteous he answer all my questions. This hospital is terrible. Brought in my cat suffering from what the vet called a "partial urinary tract blockage", the vet gave me the option of hospitalization or medication (which was all my budget could afford) and said that either option should help my cat recover. The cat had been suffering for two days when we got the medicine, and when I had checked what the doctor gave me the medicine had congealed because they mixed the pills with mineral water which delayed my treatment of my cat by a day. The nurse there also gave me the wrong instructions for the medicine, telling me not to refrigerate it when I should have. Long story short my cat passed away a day after getting the correct un-congealed medicine from the hospital. I will NEVER come back to this place. The vet did a rush check of my cat and obviously I ended up paying the price for it. The help there is lacking in common sense and I blame them wholeheartedly for my cats death. My kitten is about a year (maybe less) and the stitches are perfectly placed for the least agitation. My kitten forgets they are even there and doesn't try to lick them much ... the medication was a bit tricky for me because they are pills and cats are a lil unpredictable BUT my kitten is mild tempered and takes the pills like a champ .. I'm glad that I looked on yelp and came back from so many years ago. I had started going to a vet by my house because it was close and it was costing me a lot of money with no results. Glad I came back to Blue Cross, reasonable price. Dr. Rodriguez will be Korkee doctor. He gives good advice to find things cheaper, I don't believe he will take advantage of you. Sean Rodriguez is sn awesome Vet, he cares, really takes his time to explain things to you, i brought my cat there bout 4 years ago, she was loosening weight, vomiting...he took a blood draw, but heres what he did that was so special. ..he brought in a portable Ulta Sound... i was apprhensive at first because i couldnt afford this test, he told me not to worry, he was doing the test because HE wanted to make sure it wasnt any organs involved!! he did this free because HE wanted to know! !!... he found the problem after the blood work, my cat is still with me, God Bless Sean !! The service INSIDE the place is very good, but whenever I call, it gives me options that aren't helpful to me so I just press one that fits the most.
