I took my dog in 6/25 because he was itching. The Vet that was there that day prescribed my dog some allergy medication and when I gave it to him he had a seizure. NO ONE WARNED ME THAT MEDICATION COULD TRIGGER SEIZURE. I took him back in on 6/27 and Dr Talwar said he needed to do an xray/blood work and how much it would be and that it would take a while because they were busy. She never called back, a receptionist did and said that everything was normal and told me to try a neurologist. I called the next day to ask for a copy of the x-ray, blood work, and if I could speak to the Doctor to ask if she thought that the medication that they prescribed caused a seizure. The receptionist told me that those medications would not cause a seizure and that she would let Dr Talwar know that I wanted a call back and "maybe" she would get back to me because she was so busy. Never got a call back. I called again today 6/30, I had to call 50 times because they don't have a voicemail set up nor do they answer. They finally answered and after battling the receptionist who was going back and forth between Dr Talwar and myself, Dr Talwar got on the phone and she was not happy. She had 0 empathy and said I already told you that his labs were normal so what else can I help you with? First of all, she never spoke to ME before and it was the receptionist who said they were normal. I have the labs in front of me and there were blood levels that say high and some low, so no everything was not normal. She said that it is nothing to worry about. I told her that I had to google what they meant because no one wants to explain it and it has me worried that I can't sleep. She was very rude and said that the medication wouldn't have triggered a seizure when I did my own research online it says that those medications contain steroids and can cause seizures. I'm not the professional, she is. Instead of apologizing or saying I'm not sure, she said clearly that no it would not have caused it. She could care less about my dog and that's fine but at least have more empathy for patients because she made it seem like she was doing me a favor when I had paid over $300 that day to not even get a call back. All I would have wanted was for her to explain each acronym on the page for me and what they meant. I do not care that it did or did not have anything to do with the seizure, I want my dog to be overall well. I asked her what they meant and she said it's nothing to worry about. I gave up hope in getting any feedback from her so I told her that I would be filing a complaint here and she said that was fine and hung up. She is unprofessional and you can tell she is unhappy doing her job. Dr Talwar needs to have more empathy for patients and not treat them that way. She works in a city that has a lot of minorities and people that speak Spanish. They treat their tiny pathetic looking clinic like its the white house and if she was more professional/good at her job she could maybe find a job in a nicer area. Their phone (main line) does not work and you can not go inside with your dog due to covid practices, which I understand. Then at least have your phone working. You call and it says that the mailbox is full and that's it. You literally have to call over and over again until someone answers which is unprofessional. I can only image how they treat people that are scared to call and ask questions. I would not recommend anyone going here but I understand their prices are kept low. But you get what you pay for because they don't care about anything there except going to their lunch on time and getting off work on time. Read Less

Called to see if they had any fleas drops for cats, they said yes. I told them I would be their in 15 minutes, I showered up they told me they ran out. Why would they tell me yes when they didn’t have any it was just a big waist of my time. Read Less

I was attended by Dr. Casillas himself. I had found an ill puppy on the street & saw she needed medical assistance. I took her to Dr. Casillas & he saw the urgency & took action immediately! He showed compassion, care & was honest from the start about my new puppy's condition. Extremely satisfied & have adopted this new place for my pet-family's care! Read Less
