GO ELSEWHERE!! After numerous attempts of pleading to check my dog for a diagnosis we were brushed off and sent out with an inaccurate diagnosis. They failed to do proper testing on my dog which may have resulted very terribly if we didn't seek a second opinion from his vet. I advise finding another vet to take you're loved ones, one that actually cares about the pet's health and will listen to what you have to say to help determine the root cause of their symptoms. We took our dog two days in a row and did not feel any better when we got home. The only thing this vet did right was charge my card $400.00 for doing next to nothing. Read Less

I have been taking my pets to Alessandro animal hospital for at least 15 years. The service is great the place is maintained really well the staff is friendly and loves my animals. The loving my animal part is very important to me. My last visit was on Saturday to get my dog his shots and it was the weekend so it's really crowded and there seemed to be a lack of a connection with my pet. Who's very impersonal and was missing the way it used to be. I believed the practice may have changed hands and another doctor is it charged. The place needs a Fresh coat of paint and maybe a new setup or possibly an expansion to a different location. It looks like they've outgrown this facility. I long for the old days. Things change so we adapt and look for other options to serve what we need, this is a reminder that a veterinarian office needs to care for my pet first and then the service they provide is just secondary. Do not take your pet to the hospital! Yes, maybe they give you different choice to drop the price when you see the expensive bill, but the choice you made like I did to my lovely Russian Blue cat, you will be super regret to take him/her to the wrong hospital. Today 12pm I took my cat to the hospital, I told my cat:" Babe, this is hospital, you will be fine, no worries...." after the hospital owner( Indian guy) checked my cat, said" you cat has fever 105, you should leave the cat here over night, the treatment total cost $385 just for the first day treatment." I said" it's too expensive, can you do cheaper way?” He said"I can give your cat 2 shots( drop fever and antibiotics) and you take him back home, it would be $191.50" I agreed with it. After 2 hours the treatment, my lovely cat was bleeding from the nose and past away! We were so upset and very angry with the wrong treatment! We really prefer didn't take him to the hospital! Why my cat was sick at home for couple days was acting normal sick, after the shots within 2 hours start bleeding from the nose???????? Everyone who reading the article please think about it. No matter human or animals bleeding from nose or eyes, ears, that must be either poison or over on medicine! If my cat was on poison from outside couple days ago, he should dead in 24 hours! The hospital owner said" you can't blame on us, it's your cat too sick, if you were agreed pay $385 leave you cat here, maybe he will be fine" of course, now I paid $200 to got his dead body, so it's not enough! You want me pay double money to get the dead body when you over medicine on him even worth than now, then telling me" we did the best we can, he was too sick." Am I really look that stupid? The owner didn't feel sorry for us, he said" we can't give you money back!" I will sue the hospital, the hospital supposed to be closed! Everyone, if you really love you pet as family, please do not save the couple hundred dollars, take him/her to real animal hospital, not some one personal own it. The hospital never give you discount, they just give you some pills by their guessing send you and your pet go home to save your money. You never know the medicine is wrong or right, the amount of shots did they give right or wrong, no one supervised them, not like bigger hospital. You spend money even $50 on your pet, you don't want lose your money and your pet both like I made stupid choice today, right? We were sadly buried him tonight, if we didn't take him to do the wrong treatment, he can be with us at least another couple of days :( Read Less

I will never come to this place again. First they diagnosed my Australian Shepherd with bladder stones. Prescribed her with dog food that does not break up the stones, only  prevents stones from forming. (Useless since they were already there) and tried to charge me $2000 for surgery. Stating if she didn't get the surgery within a days she'd die. I felt they were misleading and in desperation for $$ so I went to Golden Oaks in Rancho Cucamonga. They are my go to from now on. Doctor Edens is seriously a life savor I brought my dog in on a Sunday, which let me tell you is awesome that they are open on Sunday's because no one else is. And it was a great experience from the moment I called in and asked if I could come in. They took us in right away and our tech Bee was so helpful with our dog who is such a cry baby and poor thing was crying even more cause he had got a nasty skin infection. But with the help from Doctor Edens and Bee who answered all our questions and gave us great information on how to take care of our dog he is now clear from his skin infection. The price for the visit and the medications was fair and they even offer a re-check appointment at no cost which is nice. Overall I would recommend this place and this is our dogs new primary vet facility. Read Less

I really hate giving bad reviews like this but I feel people need to be informed of situations like mine. I brought my dog in to have a fox tail removed and was charged around $400 for the procedure and they did NOT get it out. My dog was put on antibiotics only to have it get re infected and form a huge bump on his paw. I brought him back in for a second procedure and another $350 later they STILL did not get it out!! My poor dog had to suffer with an infected paw oozing puss and blood for 3 months. After it got reinfected for a THIRD time I brought him into a different vet and they got the foxtail right out and now he is finally healing and much happier. I don't understand how this place is okay with charging when they aren't doing things correctly. Why continue to put my dog on medication when you never got the thing out of his paw in the first place, and you know it's going to keep getting infected. It's disturbing that we are now out all of this money and they really didn't do anything for us. I will never come here again and I will make sure everyone I know does not go here either! Read Less

They killed my dog!!!! Took him in for x-rays last Thursday. They wanted to do a canine dental. I told them I didn't want to because I was worried about the anesthesia. They assured me it was very safe and everything would be fine. So I finally agreed to let him do it. They kept him overnight. I picked him up the next day and ever since we got him back something wasn't right. At first we just thought he was in pain from his mouth being sore. But as the night went on he got worse. Was having trouble walking, he was crying in pain. That morning my dad brought him back for them to check him out. Dr. Eden said he was congested and that the medicine was causing his heart to beat fast. Later on Saturday, he started screaming and crying in agony. We brought him to the emergency/ specialists in Murrieta. He was in critical condition. His glucose was severely low, he had a fever of 106, he had pneumonia and swelling in his brain. My baby aside from the limping was perfectly fine when I brought him to alessandro animal hospital. I got him back and he wasn't right and I just lost him yesterday. I called Saturday to ask what the hell happened, of course they denied anything happened. DON'T being your animals here, because they might end up dead. My dog was my world, now he's gone. They have a sign on the door that says emergency  and "24 hour on call vet".  Not so much.  Brought my 5 year old Yorkie in because he had an abscess in his neck that had ruptured leaving an open sore.  I was told by the unsympathetic person behind the counter that they didn't have anyone for 2 hours as they had just opened their doors.  I wasted valuable time, so I took him to Sunnymead Animal Hospital instead where they took him right away and did surgery.  So disappointed in the lack of concern or empathy more than anything else. Took my 3 month old adopted pit bull terrier mix here for a wellness physical. The day of the appointment my puppy started to vomit and act listless so I asked if I could come in earlier to have her examined.  When we arrived we sat and waited in the lobby approximately 30mins.  They finally brought is into the examination room where I had to try to hold my puppy on the examination table for another 30mins.  Finally the first person comes in (I am not sure what their role was at the hospital) and says that need to have a test done for my puppy for parvo.  I was like wait you haven't even examined her yet.  Person#1 leaves.  After another 15 mins later person #2 comes in with a quote for about $220 for a parvo test a to get started on parvo treatment.  I was like wait,  'Are you the doctor'?  because I still have not met anyone that seems to be a doctor.  After another 10 mins person #3 comes (who I assume is the doctor.. Because NO ONE has told me their role at the hospital)  came in and pushes a few times on my puppy's belly and says she needs the parvo test and and needs to be treated for parvo.  $220. She tells me without parvo treatment my puppy could DIE within a week.  I start to cry and get upset because I don't want my new puppy to DIE but on this day I did not have the money for her treatment.   Person #3 leaves and I am left there.  At this point I am already upset because they told me that my puppy could die.  The longer I stay here the more upset I started to become. After being in there for quite a while I get upset and me and my puppy start to head for the exit.  As I head to the lobby the receptionist I start running to stop me because they say my puppy has parvo I have to use the side exit.  The receptionist was yelling at me to go back into the examination room and I'm ready to leave I don't want the treatment here at least and I'm ready to take my puppy and GO. This place is horrible. Finally person #2 comes in with an invoice for just the visit $25. I pay the $25, take my puppy and leave through the side exit and decided never to go to that place ever again. By the way,  Today my puppy is a beautiful rambunctious HEALTHY dog. She was running around being a puppy about a week after that horrible visit. Read Less

I took my 3 dogs to alessandro animal hospital to get boarded for a week. They had shots they needed and the hospital was going to administer them upon arrival. One of my dogs is a pit/lab mix very well behaved and non aggressive. The person who took him back I could tell was already afraid of him because of his breed and made comments about him being aggressive and how he was too big for her to handle. He isn't used to being choked with a cheap choking leash so he was reaching for it. they were all placed in a small dark cold room that looked like a animal shelter. 2 days after they were there I called to check in on them because we hadn't heard from them and they were supposed to call us or our emergency contact if anything happened. we were then notified they were not able to walk my pit/lab because he wasn't letting them. so I had someone pick him up early. they failed to tell me though that they weren't able to give him his shots so a few days after we returned he came down with kennel cough. They even had us pay for the shots they were supposed to give him when we picked up the other two. My husband had to raise hell to get them to cover the cost of my pit/labs meds. now my other two are coming down with kennel cough and they are refusing to do anything. I will not be returning to this hospital and will not reccommend them to anyone. please do not take your dogs here.Read Less

We have taken many of our animals to this hospital for vet care and have not had issues. HOWEVER, we recently boarded 3 of our dogs at this facility. They were each due a few vaccines, Upon check in to be boarded we were told they would be administered as all current vaccines are necessary for them to be boarded. Supposedly, our larger dog was not being compliant. They could not walk him because he was to powerful for them to use on there small thin nylon choke ropes and would not allow us to leave his harness for them to use. Neither myself, my wife nor our emergency contact were notified they were having this issue with him. We called in a day and a half after leaving them to check on the 3 dogs and they told us our two small ones were compliant, however they could not walk or "Do Anything" with our larger dog. our dog would have been left in a small kennel for 6 days, not walked or anything if we hadn't called and had our emergency contact pick him up. No more than a week later after being boarded for ONLY 1.5 days our dog started making choking sounds. We took him in to this same facility and advised us he had KENELL COUGH!! Additionally, they advised us they did not administer any vaccines to our dog who caught the KENELL COUGH and on top of that we were charged for the vaccines and were not told at the time we were being billed they were not given!!!! The Dr. did give us the medication at no cost to us for the inconvenience and told us if our other dogs come down with any symptoms let them know and we can come in and pickup medication. Now our two other dogs have been infected, we called and they want to now bill us $68 each dog for medication to treat the KENELL COUGH!! This is an outrage to be billed for a circumstance that could have been avoided due to the neglect of this office!! Our animals will never go here again, we will be collecting our refund for the vaccines that were not administered. I hope no one ever has to go through having 3 dogs with KENELL COUGH! I cannot comment on pricing too much because we have pet insurance and that has truly been the only way we have been able to treat our girls emergencies, but I believe them to be fair on pricing. I will really always be grateful for Dr. Randawa giving our dog a fighting chance without hesitation when another vet didn't. Only suggestion is of course with as much as we've had to visit them in the last year and a half is one hopes to almost be known by name and their doggys history be remembered before the visit but with as many patients it's understandable. I felt really comfortable about the consultation with Dr. Randhawa and that my dog would be in good hands. On the day of the surgery I was a mess and very stressed. Dr. R called me personally to tell me my dog's surgery went well and when I could pick her up.When I arrived to take my dog home her meds were in a bag ready to go. I was given great instructions on how to care for her as I had not been in this situation before. It has been 3 wks now and my dog's incision has healed beautifully! I have been a customer for 15 years for checkups, injuries, immunizations, and boarding and have been pleased with the service at AAH.  The office staff comes and goes on a regular basis but Dr Randhawa has been very fair and never tried to upsell me on services that I didn't need.  My dog once tore a ligament in her hind leg and Dr. R suggested keeping my dog off her feet for a few weeks.  I took her to Dr. Wild's for a 2nd opinion and they wanted to do surgery.  My gut said to try the rest option and it worked!  I've also tried Dr. Park and while he is a bit cheaper than AAH, the wait time was horrible, the staff were really disorganized, and the facility was not very clean.  I have no problem paying a few extra $ for better service.I recently had to have my dog euthanized at AAH.  The staff was very nice and gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye.  I wanted to have my dog cremated and they took care of everything with no problems.  They even sent me a very nice card following the death of my dog.I'm not sure when I'll be ready to get another dog, but when I do I'll be returning to AAH without a doubt. I have been a patron here for a little over 10 years and it never crossed my mind to review them, but I do feel compelled to after that sunk in after my most recent visit here!My wife and I have been taking our pug Piglet here since she was a baby and wouldn't exercise the fact of going anywhere else. Even when we moved temporarily from Corona to Chino Hills we still made the lengthy drive just to go here because they knew us and knew Piglet so we didn't want to start over with someone new and not get the same level of care we were all used to.Price wise they have always been adequate compared to a more "chain" like veterinary service like Banfield/Petsmart and since the service is no different for what's performed why WOULDN'T you save money if you enjoy coming here? I have gone through surgical procedures here, repeat ear infection visits, routine shot updates, and random hijinx Piglet has managed to "indulge" in over the years so YES I am (much like my wallet) more than knowledgeable of cost. =OPI have experienced quite a few changes over the years with new faces to the staff and ones departing, but the one undeniable trait is that everyone here has a care for animals and honestly if you treat them with respect they'll show the same level of care for you too. Way too many times I have watched as they have been lashed out on from people on the phone and even people in person with sour attitudes and I feel it is unnecessary. I have actually felt so bad witnessing this that I've apologized for it (without even being at fault) and give a smile along with a warm thank you for their efforts with Piglet. I thought of sending hay bales to the barns of the other patrons though as a "thank you" gift because I do care about human decency THAT much!I can not say anything short of the best for Alessandro Animal hospital. They have seen the best of times with Piglet and definitely helped us with the worse of times with her as well and I can't thank them enough! We've seen her go from an energetic young spit fire to an aging old blob and (due to some very important advice from a vet tech who handled her since she was a young pup) back to an aging yet young at heart spit fire. So with a huge smile and even 4 paws held high from Piglet we say a warm heart filled thank you for all you do for us and so many others! Read Less

WARNING!! DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! I called to schedule an appointment 10/17/2015 an hour before my arrival. I had a 12 week puppy sick with parvo who was pretty lethargic at this point. I showed up as scheduled and the front desk lady was rude and condescending as if I had no business being there. 1st red flag I should have noticed.Once called back we brought our sick puppy into the office to be seen by the vet. Dr. Randhaw came in and looked into his eyes and stated that he looked pretty toxic and that was it. No checking of his pulses, no examining his heart or gums anything. Simply picked my dogs head up looked in his eyes and began throwing all these numbers at me. I imagined with the office visit fee he'd at least check him out a little. We decided we'd go with the treatment and purchase ivs and antibiotics and care for him at home. The doctor in our opinion was more focused on how much he could get us to buy rather than any concern of the sick animal we brought to him. Immediately after leaving our dog becomes even more lethargic and begins defecating all over himself in the car parking lot outside their office. I had noticed a nurse and requested his personal opinion of our dogs condition since we believed he was literally beginning to die. The nurse looked at him and said "hes fine, hes defecating cause the medicines kicking in and it was normal". By the time I reach my home the puppy is moaning, pooping, peeing, and noticeably deteriorating. He died within 2 and a half hours of leaving this vet. In my opinion the vet knew my puppy was on his way out and tried to make a quick buck off me ( $264 actually). There is no compassion here, the Dr only cares about how much money he can make off each patient. 1 star for the male nurse who was somewhat helpful. Read Less

WARNING! DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! They nickel and dime you. I brought my dog here due to him getting beat up by a pit bull while I was walking him. My poor 10 yr old dogs elbow was dislocated. I initially called and ask if I could come in and it was passed 7 o'clock. The front desk did not once tell me I would have to pay $40 for after hours visit. I ended up paying $25 for bringing him in after 6 o'clock. Then he gave me a quote of how much it was going to cost to get his elbow back into place. An estimated total of $585. This was right after he took xrays. Never did he once tell me BEFORE the procedure and after taking x rays that my dog may need to have a special surgery to have bolts and screws put in his elbow. I paid $600 to have Dr. Randhawa tell me AFTER THE PROCEDURE THAT HE WOULD NEED BOLTS AND SCREWS. IF I HAD KNOWN FROM THE BEGINNING! AND NOT AFTER I SPENT $600 THEN I WOULD RESPECT THIS GUY.

Dr. Randhawa and his team have saved our fur baby's life, have treated her great and I have had an overall great experience with all of the vets that come the other days of the week as well. I have been taking both my dogs to Alessandro Animal Hospital for a couple years now. The facility is always clean and the staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. But when a fast growing lump formed on my small dog who I love dearly, I was not going to take her just anywhere for a major surgery. After a thorough examination of my dog and a blood test Dr. Randhawa explained the entire procedure in detail and was very patient answering all my question. I was very happy with my experience with AAH.Dr Randhawa is a compationate man and I have no doubts he has done wonderful things for animals!!! Read Less

It's so hard to find a good veterinarian now a days-i HIGHLY suggest going here if you want a team and a Dr. who sincerely cares about your fur babies well being.
