After reading some of the reviews I felt compelled to share my opinion of this office and vet. First, I can agree with alot of the negative statements. There is always always a long wait. This vet does not turn away customers he will still be there at 8pm, hours after they close to make sure he sees every animal. It's not about the money...several years ago I brought a puppy that had contracted parvo, they told me the price, I left in tears...they tracked me down and provided the treatment for about 60 dollars which was what my young family could afford at the time. One other time our dog had his ear bitten off by the neighbor...I put him in my son's stroller and my son and I walked the 2 miles to Dr. Park, he sutured, cauterized ,medicated, plus after care antibiotics and let me pay 20 dollars a week till I reached $140. Fifteen years later I bring my pets here because I know they care. If the office staff seems abrupt, it's because they are in constant contact with worried, scared, angry, impatient, parents that are waiting for answers and are not always thier most polite selves. If you are around long enough. ....you will see those brief exchanges where they connect, and make a huge difference in our lives as pet owners. This vet is not the only game in town,...there are several options ....and none have such low reviews....but year after year the wait is still forever....it's because people don't often enough remember to review on positive experiences ... Received a coupon for a "free" spaying from a local pet rescue when we recently adopted our new puppy. Spent four hours of my day just dropping off and picking her up from procedure. Front office is tiny and was packed full the whole time.They obviously take on more than they can handle. Still had to pay for cone of shame, antibiotic and pain meds. I,ve been here more than 2 hours trying to pick up my dog. They keep telling people they're under staffed, but this could go 3 times faster and it would still be too slow. There are 20 or so people in a waiting room that says maximum occupancy 10. Other customers are telling me it's always like this. They are clearly taking on more customers than they can handle. Hello pet owners: I would like to share my recent experience at Dr parks office.. On 4 30 18 we took our chuwaua in for a cysts on his elbow removed. when I dropped my dog off at 11;00am I was told to call back at 6pm so I did just that and I was told oh Dr have emergency surgery. But Dr has one chart ahead of you. So we receive a phone at 8iah asking us to leave our dog overnight. Had we know the surgery was going to be done at 9pm. We should have been given the option to bring our dog back later instead of him sitting in a cage for 11 he's with no food . So we pick him up 5-1_18 and he smelled horrible my poor baby was starving and hungry like they have feed him. So I call today Tuesday I was told I can pick my dog up at 12 then another girl says Dr said after 3 pm .so we arrive and Dr Parks has taken a extended lunch. So we wait for another hr. We have taken all our four dogs to Dr park seems to over book his services. Then this vet makes up there own pricing. They won't give you any discount for the inconveniences he may cause. Just be aware stay away it's groose smells dog stinks animals on the floor bare floor while they do prededure on dogs period. Plz believe these comments that previous commitment. Dr park needs to communicate with his staff. We understand things happen all these pets people babies. Put them in cages for hrs and don't walk him. Be aware . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC. I found a stray and took it in to be checked. It took us an hour to be called and almost another half hour for anyone to show up to the room. The nurses would yell their questions from across the hall. The dr came in and did a fecal test without asking if I wanted one. They were going to charge me for this test that I didn't even want or ask for! I told them I couldnt afford tests, and just wanted her checked to see what I can do to help the dog out. Once they found out I could only afford the vet check, they let me in the room waiting for another 20 minutes just so the dr can come, say that the dog ate something bad, and turn around to leave again. Even though I was paying for a vet check, the only time he touched the dog was to take the fecal test that I didnt even ask for! I've visited this clinic numerous times and each time has been terrible. Long waiting times, rude nurses, Dr that tries to overcharge or coaxes you into treatments/tests you dont need. It’s nit the first time I experienced a disappointment with him but it was manageable until, my dog lost her eye because Dr Hong R. Park didn’t bother to run an exam that had to be done when a dog has red eye. After finishing medicine, Dr Park gave to my dog and seen no improvement but getting worse I took her to a different veterinarian, that’s when they told me it was to late to save the eye because the red was severely damage, to reverse it. Vacinación are at affordable price, but other that no trusty place, I will say they put to much on their plate from what they can handle, I don’t want to sound mean but Dr. Park should retire or get another knowledgeable partner. I Took all my animals I have had throughout years 5-6 dogs 4-6 cats since 2005 till 2017 when happened the lost of my dog’s eye, again, when it could of be save if he would of take the time to run that test/exam on time. This is the worst vet clinic ever. Unprofessional staff, they are unorganized, and the place is filthy. I regret coming here. I had to leave my dog overnight and I came at 830 am to pick her up and they said they won't release her till 10am. The woman at the front desk has a really bad attitude. This is not just a dog. I'll never be able to thank Dr. Park for saving my dog's leg when she broke it. He was the 4th vet I saw before finally being able to afford the price he quoted me for the surgery. Precious vets wanted to charge me $1600 for the 1 surgery. Dr Park at Sunnymead only charged me $900 AND he threw in a spay too. So $900 for basically 2 surgeries + medication and around $15 for the initial appt/exam is basically unheard of! I'll never stop recommending him. He got my dog walking again! And for all the people saying they had to wait a long time before being seen... what do you expect from a vet that charges such AFFORDABLE prices? The waiting room was full the 2 times I went too. But hell, I'll wait all day if it meant he'll save me several hundred or even a thousand dollars. I don't even live that close to Moreno Valley but the drive is worth the amount of money saved too.Read Less

Got a new kitty with respiratory issues and the rescue recommended this place. Had to get there at 8am to sign in and then had to come back at 930am (as they dont see anyone before 10am). The vet tech Val was awesome. The vet, has very broken english and hard to understand. He wanted to do xray and bloodwork. Tlhe said they were busy so if we could leave our kitty there until 630pm. So paid $300 for the xray, bloodwork and antibiotics and left. We came back at 630pm. They had not done anything. They also said yeah we dont know when we will get to your cat. Could be hours. We waited til 730pm then demanded either the xray and bloodwork and meds be done or give us our kitty and a refund. Suddenly within minutes they found time to do everything they had all day to do.(mind you we had been the first people there in the morning.) Oh! And the best part, they called a lady who had been waiting almost as long as us and tries to give her our cat!!!! This place was so disorganized. No one seemed to know what they were doing, who was doing what, or what had even been done to the animals. One vet tech just stood there eating a lollipop instead of helping. Then after everything they tried to say i hadnt paid. Luckilly i still had the receipt in my pocket and showed them. Dr Parks and his entire staff are amazing! They truly love all animals and you can see this in their insanely competitive pricing!! They're not out for money, it's their job and they need to be paid but they're not in this to get "rich" like most veterinarians. I can't say enough good things about this place. Don't let the old building fool you.... Your baby is in the best hands here!! I rescue animals and I can't tell you what Blessing it is to be able to have them all cared for when needed! This place was sketchy . The waiting room is dirty and very small. 5/10 on cleanliness . He was very plane and simple but found the problem 8/10 . And I came in with $200.00 in hand and told him to please work with me on price and I got to see my dogs X-rays, wrapped, and medication for under my budge . This place gets one star only because some of the nurses were nice. Besides that, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Not only did I have to leave my cat here for 6 days they allowed my poor baby to sit in his own urine for days without cleaning him. Now he has urine scalding all over his back feet, legs and tummy. So pretty much since he was laying in his own urine for so long, the acids in his urine started to eat at his skin causing severe burns. I took my poor baby to another vet and now since they took such poor care of him my bill is almost $3,000. When I picked up my cat he was severely dehydrated (even though he was on an iv) and looked horrible. If you think your getting good care for your fur babies here, think again. I'm not in the business of defending businesses, but I just wanted to say something regarding the review by Amy, whose rabbit died. I don't blame her for not wanting to return after such a tragic and unprofessional experience, but the reason for the positive reviews is for the same reason I bring my pets to this clinic. I haven't had any negative experiences here and have been coming here for years. There are risk in anything we do and we should probably all be more diligent in researching medical procedures for our pets, as we would for ourselves or our children. First impressions are lasting impressions, so it's obvious this clinic failed to impress Amy. And my heart goes out to any pet owner who has lost a pet, as I have. But for anyone else who is willing to patronize this establishment, it is a really good low cost option for vaccines, spaying and neutering, and medications. I would not recommend bringing a fly to this clinic. We brought our 1 year old rabbit here to get neutered this morning and we were told not to feed him after midnight. (After our tragic experience we did research and this is HIGHLY discouraged due to rabbits NEEDING something in their stomach to handle the anesthesia). I was told we could pick him up between 4:30-5:30. I called at 4 to make sure he was all finished so we didn't have to wait in their dirty BUSY and very crowded lobby. The woman who answered the phone was very cold and irritated sounding. After 7 minutes a doctor came on the line and told me "it doesn't look good, he had a reaction to the anesthesia". Why would a customer have to call to find this information out and why would a doctor say it doesn't look good when our fur baby was already dead? (We looked in the file and he was pronounced dead before I even called). When we got there, there was a line out the door. As we were taken back there was a dead puppy in a crate on the floor and our poor baby was in a cold metal cage on two pieces of newspaper. When I went to take a picture the nurse stopped me to get a blanket so it "didn't look so cold". She then preceded to tell us she has a friend who sells rabbits so if we want another to let her know. Our pet is not disposable or replaceable. The doctor then stopped us as we walked out the door to try to sell us a rabbit. TWICE within 5 minutes of just losing our first pet together. The picture I took of our bunny shows curled fur around his eye which doesn't happen unless he gets wet which leads me to believe he was crying and in pain. We are extremely devastated and heartbroken. We understand there are always risks for surgeries but their recommendations put our fur baby at a higher risk. We would never be willing to bring another pet here and I'm truly surprised by the positive reviews on here.Read Less

Been going to Dr. PARKS office since he first opened when I was a kid. He always took great care of them until recently. I have spent the past 3 weeks there with my dog. They kept my dog 3 days at a time. He ended up getting Kennel Cough from this place which along with other medical problems they fixed supposedly this was an added one. Ended up spending over $1200.00 to finally having to lay my dog to rest yesterday. I yelled at the staff & Dr. PARK. My dog didn't deserve to suffer he deserved for them to find the cause of the pain. VAL one of the head nurses there was sweet and comforting. I would never again deal with anyone but her. I will NEVER take either of my dogs there again. I rescued a puppy and received free vaccines and spayed during the process. At first it was fine but today we went to get her stitches taken out and ask for he paperwork for the vaccines she had received before we got her. After waiting 20 minutes i politely to lady at the desk who was apparently "in charge" she was hands down one of the most unprofessional rude people i have ever had to deal with. She told us that "we didn't take our dog there to get fixed because she remembers everyones face" yet we had all the paperwork and definitely took our dog there. The services rendered were fine but be careful when paying! Even though I initialed the possible extra services with the pricing listed next to each service they over charged me $100.00 on the $150.00 service I initialed and signed in agreement and said I was never quoted after running my debit card for the over charge. After about an hour they finally showed me my file with my signed agreement and again said I wasn't quoted until I pointed it out to them proving they had over charged me. Then they claimed not to know how to give credits after already charging my card. They supposedly figured it out but after calling the bank I see the over charge has gone thru but not the credit. I was actually referred here for the decent pricing since the animal was a local stray but after the time wasted and being over charged it surely is not. I'd never recommend cause it was clear they just want to get as many patients in as they can along with slipping extra charges in claiming the prices increased. Price increase in the eight hours the animal was there? That's ridiculous and unethical. Shame on them! They also aren't great on their paperwork claiming the cat was a dog even though they still had the animal and didn't bother correcting their mistake. When I questioned if that could be why they over charged they said there was no difference in cost regardless of the animal and still tried to maintain it was $250.00 until their own paperwork proved they were lying. I'll never go there again and highly suggest staying clear of this place, at the very least review their charges carefully and make sure u get it in writing. Read Less

Took my baby to this vet and it was dirty.. Smelled of urin .. Waited about 30 min to get Medicine and pay. Dr.didnt give me any options only suggested surgery for my dogs ACL.. After doing research.. I found if you limit exercise .. And movement on the leg it CAN heal on its own without the need of surgery. I do not recommend going to this place. Read Less

I travelled 2 hours, dropped off 4 cats i have been fostering, on a first come first serve basis, waited around till 5:30 only to be told we do shelter cats last it will be tomorrow. So not only have cats who have already had a hard life been sitting in crates in a new environment will animals whining and barking all around them . But cats that i 've been struggling to get to gain weight haven't had any food or water all day and now won't until tomorrow but i get to go 2 hours back down the road then come back tomorrow like i have nothing else to do and all the money in the world to do it with. I got a cat from the pound. It was sick with a cold. They gave me some antibiotics and treated me like a five year old. The cat is doing worse after almost a week, and although I could take it back to them "Free," I'm taking her to Dr. Park this morning. Why? Because there is a BIG difference in care! Dr. Park has saved and cared for my pets for over 5 years now, and If he had seen this kitty a week ago she still would not be suffering and losing weight! Dr. Park is affordable, caring and proficient. To make a long story short, This is not the place to get animal ears cropped cause they do crappy job and dont explain any thing about after care. Ear rapping and stitches came out the second day and that was because they cut that ear so close that it was hard to stitch and it bleed all over the place so I took the dog back the same day and they said that the person who rapped ears was not there and they did nothing but say come back another day. (Rude employees) I dropped my dog off the next morning and they said for me to pick him up at 7pm that day,went to pick him up and they did nothing to the dog and said to pick him up the next day.(no call to say pick up tomorrow)No comunacation skills and it took them 2 days to stitch the 1 ear when the hole job takes a day. When I picked him up his paws had poop all over them and the one ear healed wrong and it took along time to heal also ears from front view look very uneven. my dog was hit by a car and broke his femur. the bill was 1700$ and i had just moved back from oklahoma. dr park helped me get intouch with animal rescue organizations that helped pay for the surgery and luckily he also is park of a discount groung called pet assure that automatically take 25% off you bill. thanx to them my dog can run again and for only 450$ outta pocket. thank you dr park Read Less

The staff are kind, and willing to help. Dr Parks needs to find someone to take care of the large dogs. First thing he had done was put a mussel on my dog. Who wouldnt hurt a fly. Then he tells me to pick up my 120lb dog and put him on the table, and walked out. He ended up wanting to put my dog to sleep so he could clean out his ears. Get this. He wanted to charge me $300. I walked out. Ended up paying 70 for meds and the visit. They also wanted me to buy something for $25 that petco sells for $6. All i can say is rip off. Read Less
