Had an appointment. Didn't wait long. Prices were not too bad. The doctor was friendly. Staff was friendly as well. There are probably cheaper medication I can get next time. To sum up my experience, they treated me like I was a dumb bimbo with a cat that was bothering them for some strange, hilarious reason. The vet assistants were nice, but front desk staff was terribly tacky and rude. Dr Lombardo is missing an empathy chip and will never receive our family's business again. Read Less

So impressed by this place. I ended up here by mistake, after my husband failed to communicate where he had actually booked an appointment for our new dog. They were super helpful, fitted us in with minimal wait late in the afternoon, and were thorough and careful in their assessment of our dog and the advice given. Happy story: As I left my recent appointment with my dog, I saw a woman tugging on the leash of a large dog who had plopped down at the entrance from the sidewalk and wouldn't budge. I asked if her dog was reluctant to go into the vet. She replied that No, in fact it was the opposite! Her dog had just come from you and didn't want to leave! She lives close by and said whenever they pass by Alpine Animal Hospital on a walk, her dog tries to drag them both in. I said, "My dog loves this vet too! This used to be a fantastic clinic, but since the entire staff has left over the past year or so, the quality has gone downhill quickly. First off, the front desk staff is clueless, tacky and unprofessional. They focus more on socializing with each other than focusing on their patients and clients. Upon my last visit, I heard each (non-vet) employee whining about how long it was taking for their coffee to be delivered. One female kept calling my (obviously) male dog a "she." ...One female is difficult to understand and talks as if she has marbles in her mouth. A certain male employee freaked my dog out, continuously yelling "Oh my GOD GOOD DOG!!!" while he was taking his vitals. Dogs don't like to be yelled at. Perhaps if they focused more on doing their actual jobs instead of goofing off, this second issue wouldn't have happened. They lost my dog's biopsy sample and didn't tell me until 2 weeks after his procedure when I took him in to get his stitches removed. We called to inquire about the results one week after his procedure, and instead of just taking responsibility for their screw up, they lied and said, "The results aren't back yet." They should have just been honest and told us that they lost his sample instead of making us wait 2 weeks. I had to fight with them for half of a day to get them to give me a 100% refund. They only wanted to refund half of the cost, stating, "At least we removed it!" Sure, they removed a mass from my dog's shoulder, but we have absolutely NO IDEA if he actually has cancer or not because they FAILED to send the sample to "an outside lab" to be tested for cancer. They didn't hold up their end of the bargain, so my family shouldn't have had to pay for their mistake. I feel like the staff here are always trying to keep both your pets health as a first priority and also your pocket. With estimates provided before services are done it makes me feel comfortable making decisions. Read Less

Pet owner beware! This is hands down the most unprofessional vet clinic you can take your pet to. The turn over rate of vets is atrocious...we have never seen the same vet, and I've taken my dog there numerous times. We wanted a simple clinic close to our home, but driving elsewhere is worth it! They employ gossipy girls that sit at the front having inappropriate conversations, and when they say a follow up call is coming -- you're going to be waiting awhile. We paid over $300 to get a lump tested...and ZERO followup. They claim they tried to call, but nope. Never. Paid for a service we didn't receive. On top of that, during the visit, I asked numerous questions and got zero answers."Uh, I'm not sure. Ummm, hmmmm, I don't know..." Our new vet was able to get all our questions answered and give us piece of mind. Thank goodness I was able to blast my entire company (the largest one in the area) to stay clear of this place. They refused to refund our money, and now they'll end up paying much more in legal fees.If you love your pet, go elsewhere. Read Less

Dr Lombardo and his team were the best! I brought in my 9yr old cat who has not been feeling well for a little bit and they were open and very clear on everything at every step.  After we left Dr Lombardo called personally to make sure that we were going to the clinic he suggested for me testing so that he could fax them my cat's information. I choice Alpine Animal Hospital after reviewing other yelp reviews written about several veterinarians facilities. I called for an appt & informed them I didn't have access to any previous shot records. Dr. Kate Bellers, DVM gave my dog a complete physical, she was very gentle & loving with my dog. Staff were very helpful..gave me information regarding how to get his microchip registration ownership properly transferred to me & documented. I am so happy I went there. I remember my Mom took one of her dogs there when he got injured & again they were very good with Mom's dog & the dog taken care of excellently. Read Less

I stopped using your clinic about 2 years ago. My dog was sick and I called to see if I could get an immediate appointment, but the receptionist said they couldn't get me in even though I said I was very worried about the dog. She added that I should call back if the dog stopped eating and only then might she be able to squeeze me in sooner. I called back 3 days later to say the dog had stopped eating.... because he had died. Read Less
