I wish I could give this place zero stars. Staff was okay, took a while before they helped us. Even though we were the only ones there. Vet comes in, decides to muzzle our dog. After I told her he was just a bit scared. She offered to give him injections to calm him down. And i said no, paid the office visit and left. Never ever going back there again.

I came to this exact hospital 5 years ago and the experience was one of the best. The nurses and doctors were so wonderful and the fact that it was pretty affordable should've made it a 5 star recommendation. But 5 years later with a new dog, this place is the remains of what it used to be. Staff is decent but i feel that all of the folks are not in sync. I feel like I had to tell the nurses what I wanted happen regard setting up appointments and my doctor didn't recognize my own dog after visiting her twice in a month before. My pup is finishing up his puppy package and I won't be coming back sadly. What a shame.

This place was good years ago but has gone downhill over the past year as all of the previous vets and employees left. I’ve had not 1 but 2 terrible experiences here so have learned my lesson and will not be going back. The first experience I was basically told my dog might die while they treated him with very little urgency and got charged 700 dollars for nothing substantial before having to bring him to a different pet hospital where they assured me he was going to be just fine. More recently I brought him in with what I thought was a hot spot but just wanted to make sure it wasn’t something else and they nickel and dime you and add unnecessary procedures to con money from you. I left with a bill of 300 dollars just for an anti itch injection and some cream. The cream cost me 40 dollars through them and I later googled it and online that it costs 7 dollars. Total scam. They also charged for the injection by weight of my dog. My dog weighs barely 60 pounds and they charged for a weight of 70 pounds. Totally unethical and I hope anyone reading this avoids them at all costs.

Had an appointment. Didn't wait long. Prices were not too bad. The doctor was friendly. Staff was friendly as well. There are probably cheaper medication I can get next time. Total visit was a little expensive but I got it did all the recommended check ups. Overall, a good experience. Nothing super chic.

To sum up my experience, they treated me like I was a dumb bimbo with a cat that was bothering them for some strange, hilarious reason. The vet assistants were nice, but front desk staff was terribly tacky and rude. Dr Lombardo is missing an empathy chip and will never receive our family's business again.

So impressed by this place. I ended up here by mistake, after my husband failed to communicate where he had actually booked an appointment for our new dog. They were super helpful, fitted us in with minimal wait late in the afternoon, and were thorough and careful in their assessment of our dog and the advice given. We will be very happy coming back here as our regular vet.

As I left my recent appointment with my dog, I saw a woman tugging on the leash of a large dog who had plopped down at the entrance from the sidewalk and wouldn't budge. I asked if her dog was reluctant to go into the vet. She replied that No, in fact it was the opposite! Her dog had just come from you and didn't want to leave! She lives close by and said whenever they pass by Alpine Animal Hospital on a walk, her dog tries to drag them both in. I said, "My dog loves this vet too! He's always happy to be here since everyone gives him loving attention. " It's so great to have a vet like you guys! Thank you for treating our pets like your own family.

This used to be a fantastic clinic, but since the entire staff has left over the past year or so, the quality has gone downhill quickly. First off, the front desk staff is clueless, tacky and unprofessional. They focus more on socializing with each other than focusing on their patients and clients. Upon my last visit, I heard each (non-vet) employee whining about how long it was taking for their coffee to be delivered. One female kept calling my (obviously) male dog a "she." ...One female is difficult to understand and talks as if she has marbles in her mouth. A certain male employee freaked my dog out, continuously yelling "Oh my GOD GOOD DOG!!!" while he was taking his vitals. Dogs don't like to be yelled at. Perhaps if they focused more on doing their actual jobs instead of goofing off, this second issue wouldn't have happened. They lost my dog's biopsy sample and didn't tell me until 2 weeks after his procedure when I took him in to get his stitches removed. We called to inquire about the results one week after his procedure, and instead of just taking responsibility for their screw up, they lied and said, "The results aren't back yet." They should have just been honest and told us that they lost his sample instead of making us wait 2 weeks. I had to fight with them for half of a day to get them to give me a 100% refund. They only wanted to refund half of the cost, stating, "At least we removed it!" Sure, they removed a mass from my dog's shoulder, but we have absolutely NO IDEA if he actually has cancer or not because they FAILED to send the sample to "an outside lab" to be tested for cancer. They didn't hold up their end of the bargain, so my family shouldn't have had to pay for their mistake. This whole situation could have been avoided if they actually did their jobs and sent the sample in, instead of hiring people who can't be bothered to keep things organized. See More

Pet owner beware! This is hands down the most unprofessional vet clinic you can take your pet to. The turn over rate of vets is atrocious...we have never seen the same vet, and I've taken my dog there numerous times. We wanted a simple clinic close to our home, but driving elsewhere is worth it! They employ gossipy girls that sit at the front having inappropriate conversations, and when they say a follow up call is coming -- you're going to be waiting awhile. We paid over $300 to get a lump tested...and ZERO followup. They claim they tried to call, but nope. Never. Paid for a service we didn't receive. On top of that, during the visit, I asked numerous questions and got zero answers."Uh, I'm not sure. Ummm, hmmmm, I don't know..." Our new vet was able to get all our questions answered and give us piece of mind. Thank goodness I was able to blast my entire company (the largest one in the area) to stay clear of this place. They refused to refund our money, and now they'll end up paying much more in legal fees.If you love your pet, go elsewhere.

Dr Lombardo and his team were the best! I brought in my 9yr old cat who has not been feeling well for a little bit and they were open and very clear on everything at every step. After we left Dr Lombardo called personally to make sure that we were going to the clinic he suggested for me testing so that he could fax them my cat's information. In short: wonderful doctor, great team, reasonably priced, very open honest and caring.

I called for an appt & informed them I didn't have access to any previous shot records. Dr. Kate Bellers, DVM gave my dog a complete physical, she was very gentle & loving with my dog. Staff were very helpful..gave me information regarding how to get his microchip registration ownership properly transferred to me & documented. I am so happy I went there. I remember my Mom took one of her dogs there when he got injured & again they were very good with Mom's dog & the dog taken care of excellently.

My dog was sick and I called to see if I could get an immediate appointment, but the receptionist said they couldn't get me in even though I said I was very worried about the dog. She added that I should call back if the dog stopped eating and only then might she be able to squeeze me in sooner. I called back 3 days later to say the dog had stopped eating.... because he had died.

She lives close by and said whenever they pass by Alpine Animal Hospital on a walk, her dog tries to drag them both in. I said, "My dog loves this vet too! He's always happy to be here since everyone gives him loving attention. " It's so great to have a vet like you guys! Thank you for treating our pets like your own family.

This used to be a fantastic clinic, but since the entire staff has left over the past year or so, the quality has gone downhill quickly. First off, the front desk staff is clueless, tacky and unprofessional. They focus more on socializing with each other than focusing on their patients and clients. Upon my last visit, I heard each (non-vet) employee whining about how long it was taking for their coffee to be delivered. One female kept calling my (obviously) male dog a "she." ...One female is difficult to understand and talks as if she has marbles in her mouth. A certain male employee freaked my dog out, continuously yelling "Oh my GOD GOOD DOG!!!" while he was taking his vitals. Dogs don't like to be yelled at. Perhaps if they focused more on doing their actual jobs instead of goofing off, this second issue wouldn't have happened. They lost my dog's biopsy sample and didn't tell me until 2 weeks after his procedure when I took him in to get his stitches removed. We called to inquire about the results one week after his procedure, and instead of just taking responsibility for their screw up, they lied and said, "The results aren't back yet." They should have just been honest and told us that they lost his sample instead of making us wait 2 weeks. I had to fight with them for half of a day to get them to give me a 100% refund. They only wanted to refund half of the cost, stating, "At least we removed it!" Sure, they removed a mass from my dog's shoulder, but we have absolutely NO IDEA if he actually has cancer or not because they FAILED to send the sample to "an outside lab" to be tested for cancer. They didn't hold up their end of the bargain, so my family shouldn't have had to pay for their mistake. This whole situation could have been avoided if they actually did their jobs and sent the sample in, instead of hiring people who can't be bothered to keep things organized. See More

Pet owner beware! This is hands down the most unprofessional vet clinic you can take your pet to. The turn over rate of vets is atrocious...we have never seen the same vet, and I've taken my dog there numerous times. We wanted a simple clinic close to our home, but driving elsewhere is worth it! They employ gossipy girls that sit at the front having inappropriate conversations, and when they say a follow up call is coming -- you're going to be waiting awhile. We paid over $300 to get a lump tested...and ZERO followup. They claim they tried to call, but nope. Never. Paid for a service we didn't receive. On top of that, during the visit, I asked numerous questions and got zero answers."Uh, I'm not sure. Ummm, hmmmm, I don't know..." Our new vet was able to get all our questions answered and give us piece of mind. Thank goodness I was able to blast my entire company (the largest one in the area) to stay clear of this place. They refused to refund our money, and now they'll end up paying much more in legal fees.If you love your pet, go elsewhere.

They can see your pet in very short notice. The fee is reasonable. They are conveniently located in Mountain view and have lots of parking.

After we left Dr Lombardo called personally to make sure that we were going to the clinic he suggested for me testing so that he could fax them my cat's information. In short: wonderful doctor, great team, reasonably priced, very open honest and caring.

Super sweet and friendly staff, from recepcionist to the assistant, the vet, all of them. I came in with an emergency and they took really good care of my pup. This is my favorite animal hospital now.

I called for an appt & informed them I didn't have access to any previous shot records. Dr. Kate Bellers, DVM gave my dog a complete physical, she was very gentle & loving with my dog. Staff were very helpful..gave me information regarding how to get his microchip registration ownership properly transferred to me & documented. I am so happy I went there. I remember my Mom took one of her dogs there when he got injured & again they were very good with Mom's dog & the dog taken care of excellently.

My dog was sick and I called to see if I could get an immediate appointment, but the receptionist said they couldn't get me in even though I said I was very worried about the dog. She added that I should call back if the dog stopped eating and only then might she be able to squeeze me in sooner. I called back 3 days later to say the dog had stopped eating.... because he had died.
