My only concern is that they examine your pet in the room with you then they take them in the back to do whatever else is needed. Our previous vet did almost everything with us present in the same room so I'm not sure if they allow that or not.

I'm shocked at the negative reviews of this place. My best buddy and I were on a two month road trip when her hind quarters began collapsing and were sensitive to touch. She had only just recovered from liver failure a few months back, so I'm on a bit of a hair trigger about her health. We had visited a clinic in Texas on the trip for some acute digestion issues and had the worst service ever, with a terribly judgmental doctor because I made my dog's food and used some natural remedies for her. My visit to this clinic could not have been any more different. They made space for me within an hour of my call, without a previous relationship; the staff was so friendly, thorough and efficient; and the doctor was so caring and knowledgeable. She was totally supportive of the things the previous doctor had looked down her nose on. They weren't sales pitchy and made two follow up calls to check on my girl and let me know the results of her consultation with a specialist.The doctor looked me in the eye and didn't treat me like I was an idiot. Even though they fit me in right before surgeries for the day, she didn't rush and took time and care with both of us. Best of all, my friend was very relaxed there despite the resident cats...my big goofball is quite afraid of cats in general due to some early puppyhood trauma. I wish I could have brought these folks back home with me. Oh, and, very reasonably priced.

I brought my dog in for itching. The doctor hardly examined my dog and determined it was allergies because "that's what every other dog has this time of the year." Then, the doctor asked me which medicine I wanted to put my dog on. Isn't that the doctor's job to decide on a medication? Then, when I was asking questions about the medication, the doctor told me she had other patients waiting. Then, they attempted to sell me DOUBLE the medication that was originally prescribed.
After a couple days of taking the medication and no itch relief, I noticed a couple fleas where my dog kept itching. I called them and asked if I could get my money back for the expensive medication that was incorrectly prescribed. After being denied, I said I would find another vet to use in the future. The receptionist said that is a wonderful idea and hung up on me. I called back to ask if that's how they always treat their customers, and I was told to never call back and hung up on again.
This place is the epitome of what a reputable veterinarian is NOT. Your pets deserve better!

The place is clean and the reception staff are helpful and friendly. I did not find the prices bad and was helped quickly. My only complaint is the "practice manager's" tone when talking to me. I'm not a vet tech or whatever qualifications she has, but I do have a bachelors degree and understand if the ears are not cleaned the medication will not work. I felt like because I declined they $55 fee for ear flush that she had an attitude that I did a disservice to my dog. You can explain with out an attitude. If not for her they would have had a five star review.

I've had dogs for 50 years of my life and have gone through many pet clinics. I've tried low budget to high budget and traveled, close to far , just to get the best vet that would satisfied my needs for my dogs. My dog is 11 years old and I knew he needed his teeth cleaned desperately knowing some were loose. I knew it would cost a fortune anywhere I went and I googled Doctors Pet Clinic. I have to say they were the best in caring for my nervous Min Pin and after the procedure, he healed up very well and was a much happier dog. No more bad breath and I try to maintain his teethe now. The overall clinic was patient, clean, and went through my dogs results thoroughly. I felt the doctor did a great job with the surgery and care for my dog and I felt they treated me with respect with their patience and any questions I may have had. I am very glad I tried this clinic and would go back again, if my dogs ever needed any medical help.

Since starting with Doctor's Pet Clinic in 2009 we have appreciated the careful attention that our dogs have received from all the personnel. We have been through four hind leg surgeries (multiple dogs), one catastrophic illness, and understanding and managing diabetes in addition to routine care. We have felt that the Dr.(s) have provided tender care, sound advice, excellent follow-up, and been great companions on this journey of caring for our special "kids". We have also appreciated that the Dr.(s) have helped us make decisions as to necessary services when we couldn't afford to do everything that they may have suggested. In our prior vet clinic, we encountered a denigrating approach when we declined a service; we were made to feel like bad, irresponsible pet owners. Not so, here.

Our first experience with Doctors Pet Clinic, sadly, was when we had to put our 10-year old lab down; and then again two-weeks later when we had to do the same with our 12-year old lab.
I don't think we could have found a kinder and more compassionate group of professionals. The staff was courteous and very accommodating. Dr. Brown is the best! She was the attending vet for both procedures, and her calm, kind and caring manner made the days a bit easier to bear.

First off all, I DO NOT understand why this place doesn't have 5 stars all across the board!! THEY ARE AMAZING! My dog came down with at the time I thought was a snake bite, but they ended up diagnosing her with HGE (an infection which makes her poop blood & vomit some as well, which is fatal). I was familiar with it but my dogs been healthy for her entire 11 years of life. We have 4 able to work adults & 3 of us were laid off very recently. So we were short on cash to give my dog everything she needed to survive. To make a long story short, before I had come to them, I had called 5 different places & specified that I had an emergency on my hands. At the time my dog had shallow breathing, tight skin, vomiting, unable to walk, & no appetite. All those other places said no to take her in right away, but as soon as I called them they took Meg & I in ASAP! As soon as I arrived, they took her from me & checked her out. They concluded that she was very severe in her state. Since we were tight on money they helped us try to find solutions to get extra money or take some stuff out that wasn't exactly necessary for her treatment (that came with no judgement to us as owners)! They did everything that they could & that was good enough for my dog. She is happy & healthy, getting stronger atleast day by day & i couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you so much to Doctors Pet Clinic for keeping my best friend alive, im forever grateful! The days following Megs visit with the staff were definitely still stressful, but as I said she's getting better & they still continue to call to check up. If you're looking for compassion & a place you feel truly cares, please give them a call. I'll be coming back forsure, thank you again everyone. I'd love to list names but everyone there played a role in her survival

Doctors Pet Clinic is the best! My dog Sophie and I are always made to feel important every time we visit. The office staff and technicians are very professional. Sophie is treated like a visiting dignitary! Dr. Price is so kind and gentle with Sophie. She is always very thorough but shares with me when she feels that a procedure is unnecessary or should be re-evaluated later. I have dealt with many veterinary clinics over the years, mostly in California, but I feel that Doctors Pet Clinic is absolutely top notch!

I VERY STRONGLY advise readers not to use this vet! My 13 year old poodle has had a progressively worsening cough so I brought her in as a new patient to be examined. After the x-ray and exam I was told by the doctor that she has an enlarged heart and that there was nothing that could be done unless I wanted to see a cardiologist and get an ultrasound to to find out the extent of the heart damage. The doctor prescribed a "cough suppressant" for $46 "to make her more comfortable so she could sleep." That night my husband and I tried to give her the medication but the taste must have been horrible because she reacted terribly to just a couple of drops. We finally got the rest in and hoped that at least her coughing would be better, but instead it was actually much worse! The next night we soaked the syrup on some crackers... but again the coughing was not relieved at all. I called the vet and asked for a refund but was refused, they suggested the syrup be custom formulated with a "gravy" flavor, for an additional cost. I had spoken to a friend who said her dog has the same condition and is on heart medication that also helps with the cough and works very well. It seemed that all Doctors Pet Clinic wanted was more $$ and had no interest in helping. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she would call the next day. I waited 2 days and never received a call, I called again and this time they suggested that I come back in for more tests! I refused and was told again no refund! I called my credit card company and they immediately credited me for the medication and said that they would not even allow the vet to dispute the credit. I will now take my dog to a vet that cares more about helping a sick animal than getting rich off of their owners.

The staff has always been wonderful and very caring. Doctors Pet Clinic might not be the cheapest, but the quality of care far out ways the cost.

The staff is very warm and extremely helpful. I called on a weekend for my limping lab mix, and even though they couldn't see him until Monday morning, they put my mind at ease. Then when I got there Monday morning, the office lobby was very clean and the staff was just as pleasant and helpful as the person I spoke to on the phone! The exam room was clean, there was no smell, Dr. Brown was WONDERFUL and extremely helpful and understanding. I chose them because they are AAHA Accredited which was tough to find around here. SO WORTH IT!

I really am glad I have this place, instead of the other vet down the street (Alicia Pet Care) where you have to take out a second mortgage on your house to be able to afford the services.

My only concern is that they examine your pet in the room with you then they take them in the back to do whatever else is needed. Our previous vet did almost everything with us present in the same room so I'm not sure if they allow that or not.

I'm shocked at the negative reviews of this place. My best buddy and I were on a two month road trip when her hind quarters began collapsing and were sensitive to touch. She had only just recovered from liver failure a few months back, so I'm on a bit of a hair trigger about her health. We had visited a clinic in Texas on the trip for some acute digestion issues and had the worst service ever, with a terribly judgmental doctor because I made my dog's food and used some natural remedies for her. My visit to this clinic could not have been any more different. They made space for me within an hour of my call, without a previous relationship; the staff was so friendly, thorough and efficient; and the doctor was so caring and knowledgeable. She was totally supportive of the things the previous doctor had looked down her nose on. They weren't sales pitchy and made two follow up calls to check on my girl and let me know the results of her consultation with a specialist.The doctor looked me in the eye and didn't treat me like I was an idiot. Even though they fit me in right before surgeries for the day, she didn't rush and took time and care with both of us. Best of all, my friend was very relaxed there despite the resident cats...my big goofball is quite afraid of cats in general due to some early puppyhood trauma. I wish I could have brought these folks back home with me. Oh, and, very reasonably priced.

I brought my dog in for itching. The doctor hardly examined my dog and determined it was allergies because "that's what every other dog has this time of the year." Then, the doctor asked me which medicine I wanted to put my dog on. Isn't that the doctor's job to decide on a medication? Then, when I was asking questions about the medication, the doctor told me she had other patients waiting. Then, they attempted to sell me DOUBLE the medication that was originally prescribed.
After a couple days of taking the medication and no itch relief, I noticed a couple fleas where my dog kept itching. I called them and asked if I could get my money back for the expensive medication that was incorrectly prescribed. After being denied, I said I would find another vet to use in the future. The receptionist said that is a wonderful idea and hung up on me. I called back to ask if that's how they always treat their customers, and I was told to never call back and hung up on again.
This place is the epitome of what a reputable veterinarian is NOT. Your pets deserve better!

The place is clean and the reception staff are helpful and friendly. I did not find the prices bad and was helped quickly. My only complaint is the "practice manager's" tone when talking to me. I'm not a vet tech or whatever qualifications she has, but I do have a bachelors degree and understand if the ears are not cleaned the medication will not work. I felt like because I declined they $55 fee for ear flush that she had an attitude that I did a disservice to my dog. You can explain with out an attitude. If not for her they would have had a five star review.

I've had dogs for 50 years of my life and have gone through many pet clinics. I've tried low budget to high budget and traveled, close to far , just to get the best vet that would satisfied my needs for my dogs. My dog is 11 years old and I knew he needed his teeth cleaned desperately knowing some were loose. I knew it would cost a fortune anywhere I went and I googled Doctors Pet Clinic. I have to say they were the best in caring for my nervous Min Pin and after the procedure, he healed up very well and was a much happier dog. No more bad breath and I try to maintain his teethe now. The overall clinic was patient, clean, and went through my dogs results thoroughly. I felt the doctor did a great job with the surgery and care for my dog and I felt they treated me with respect with their patience and any questions I may have had. I am very glad I tried this clinic and would go back again, if my dogs ever needed any medical help.

Since starting with Doctor's Pet Clinic in 2009 we have appreciated the careful attention that our dogs have received from all the personnel. We have been through four hind leg surgeries (multiple dogs), one catastrophic illness, and understanding and managing diabetes in addition to routine care. We have felt that the Dr.(s) have provided tender care, sound advice, excellent follow-up, and been great companions on this journey of caring for our special "kids". We have also appreciated that the Dr.(s) have helped us make decisions as to necessary services when we couldn't afford to do everything that they may have suggested. In our prior vet clinic, we encountered a denigrating approach when we declined a service; we were made to feel like bad, irresponsible pet owners. Not so, here.

Our first experience with Doctors Pet Clinic, sadly, was when we had to put our 10-year old lab down; and then again two-weeks later when we had to do the same with our 12-year old lab.
I don't think we could have found a kinder and more compassionate group of professionals. The staff was courteous and very accommodating. Dr. Brown is the best! She was the attending vet for both procedures, and her calm, kind and caring manner made the days a bit easier to bear.

First off all, I DO NOT understand why this place doesn't have 5 stars all across the board!! THEY ARE AMAZING! My dog came down with at the time I thought was a snake bite, but they ended up diagnosing her with HGE (an infection which makes her poop blood & vomit some as well, which is fatal). I was familiar with it but my dogs been healthy for her entire 11 years of life. We have 4 able to work adults & 3 of us were laid off very recently. So we were short on cash to give my dog everything she needed to survive. To make a long story short, before I had come to them, I had called 5 different places & specified that I had an emergency on my hands. At the time my dog had shallow breathing, tight skin, vomiting, unable to walk, & no appetite. All those other places said no to take her in right away, but as soon as I called them they took Meg & I in ASAP! As soon as I arrived, they took her from me & checked her out. They concluded that she was very severe in her state. Since we were tight on money they helped us try to find solutions to get extra money or take some stuff out that wasn't exactly necessary for her treatment (that came with no judgement to us as owners)! They did everything that they could & that was good enough for my dog. She is happy & healthy, getting stronger atleast day by day & i couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you so much to Doctors Pet Clinic for keeping my best friend alive, im forever grateful! The days following Megs visit with the staff were definitely still stressful, but as I said she's getting better & they still continue to call to check up. If you're looking for compassion & a place you feel truly cares, please give them a call. I'll be coming back forsure, thank you again everyone. I'd love to list names but everyone there played a role in her survival

Doctors Pet Clinic is the best! My dog Sophie and I are always made to feel important every time we visit. The office staff and technicians are very professional. Sophie is treated like a visiting dignitary! Dr. Price is so kind and gentle with Sophie. She is always very thorough but shares with me when she feels that a procedure is unnecessary or should be re-evaluated later. I have dealt with many veterinary clinics over the years, mostly in California, but I feel that Doctors Pet Clinic is absolutely top notch!

I VERY STRONGLY advise readers not to use this vet! My 13 year old poodle has had a progressively worsening cough so I brought her in as a new patient to be examined. After the x-ray and exam I was told by the doctor that she has an enlarged heart and that there was nothing that could be done unless I wanted to see a cardiologist and get an ultrasound to to find out the extent of the heart damage. The doctor prescribed a "cough suppressant" for $46 "to make her more comfortable so she could sleep." That night my husband and I tried to give her the medication but the taste must have been horrible because she reacted terribly to just a couple of drops. We finally got the rest in and hoped that at least her coughing would be better, but instead it was actually much worse! The next night we soaked the syrup on some crackers... but again the coughing was not relieved at all. I called the vet and asked for a refund but was refused, they suggested the syrup be custom formulated with a "gravy" flavor, for an additional cost. I had spoken to a friend who said her dog has the same condition and is on heart medication that also helps with the cough and works very well. It seemed that all Doctors Pet Clinic wanted was more $$ and had no interest in helping. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she would call the next day. I waited 2 days and never received a call, I called again and this time they suggested that I come back in for more tests! I refused and was told again no refund! I called my credit card company and they immediately credited me for the medication and said that they would not even allow the vet to dispute the credit. I will now take my dog to a vet that cares more about helping a sick animal than getting rich off of their owners.

We were called with updates on their progress. They did great! We always trust Dr. Koorhan and her staff. Marla is the best dental specialist around!

Dr. Koorhan is amazing. We have been seeing her for years. It is hard to find a vet you can trust with your animals, but she has never disappointed us. We totally trust her expertise and advice. The staff has always been wonderful and very caring. Doctors Pet Clinic might not be the cheapest, but the quality of care far out ways the cost.

i have used doctors pet clinic for 20+ years. they always show great care and kindness to my dogs. they are very professional and always willing to talk about different treatment options. the doctors are honest and will help me figure out what my dogs really need for their health. the office is always clean and sanitary. all of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. i can always get an appointment for a time that is good for me. overall, i won't take my dogs anywhere else!

The staff is very warm and extremely helpful. I called on a weekend for my limping lab mix, and even though they couldn't see him until Monday morning, they put my mind at ease. Then when I got there Monday morning, the office lobby was very clean and the staff was just as pleasant and helpful as the person I spoke to on the phone! The exam room was clean, there was no smell, Dr. Brown was WONDERFUL and extremely helpful and understanding. I chose them because they are AAHA Accredited which was tough to find around here. SO WORTH IT!

First time here and found on Groupon! The staff was friendly and took good care of our Kaya. She went in to be Groomed because i'm afraid to cut her back nails (there black) so every two months I take her in. I usually do everything myself so I know what kind of products are used on her coat, ears and face. They just loved her and she loved them right back! She came out Happy as can be and so FRESH & CLEAN!! Thank you!

I love this place my dog loves this place I have been coming here since my dog was a puppy. They've always work with me even if I couldnt afford certain things on my dog they always work with me to where I could afford it this is a very family oriented place I leave my dog here for boarding I trust them and I love that they remember my dog's name as soon as we walk in even when I call they know exactly who he is :-D the whole staff is very nice and caring I will recommend this place to anybody I absolutely love this place my dog loves going to this place even for shots lol

I really am glad I have this place, instead of the other vet down the street (Alicia Pet Care) where you have to take out a second mortgage on your house to be able to afford the services.
