Their pricing is competitive, and the staff is friendly. I had to say goodbye to our pet and they were extremely compassionate. They even mailed us a card with hand written condolences from the staff members. I appreciated this and it wasnt until the grieving was over that I realized I had brought him in 2 different times within a 2 week period because I KNEW something was wrong. both times I was sent home with antibiotics and told to give him fluids. Nobody even suggested a blood test, stool sample, or urine analysis until the third and final time where I paid over a grand only to be told that he needs to be hospitalized. And the next day there was nothing they can do because it was too late.Maybe I'm in an angry stage of grieving but even a year later I cant help but blame them for not catching it sooner :( this was just my experience...I'm sure they've helped more than they've hurt though... I cannot say enough great things about this place. Our Maltese dog got really sick and collapsed one Sunday morning. Without writing an entire novel, Dr. Albert Yoon saved my dogs life! His expertise and knowledge hinted to have blood work done, and when the lab work came back he was able to determine my dog suffers from Addison's Disease. I had another vet review the blood work for a second opinion and couldn't tell me what Dr. Yoon had suspected. Even his regular vet that had treated him for almost 10 years never thought to have him tested for Addison's. I will never take my dog anywhere else! Brought an injured American Bulldog to them years ago, and they proceeded to tackle and muzzle the dog. Totally changed our dog from a loving and trusting animal to one we eventually had to put down. I just moved to Norco Hills and needed a vet in a pinch, my small dog was playing in the yard and broke his dewclow very close to the root. He was in pain and so i decided to drive over at 9:00pm knowing they would be closed at 10:00pm. They got me right in and was able to get him out of a bit of pain as well as clean up the claw. Price was less than i expected but still not what i would consider cheep. You get what you pay for because after it was all done he had a bandage that we were supposed to take off after 24-48 hours. His mother and I tried at the 48hour mark and he was not happy. I decided the next morning to take him back and ask if they could remove it, the did it right there with no charge and he is feeling great now. We will be using this as our main vet from now on! I called to this hospital in the evening regarding my diabetic dog asking for help because I accidentally broke her insulin bottle and needed some replacement ASAP.I notified the receptionist that I am a veterinarian myself and I will appreciate it if the doctor will help me in this situation. Dr. Lorkowsky never pick up the phone and refused to help what in my opinion is not professional. I never had a situation when a vet refuses to help a colleague especially with a diabetic patient!I hope Dr. Lorkowsky will never have similar  situation when she needs help and her colleagues turn her away. Dr. Yoon absolutely devastated  my sister and her husband when they finally made the decision to put their beloved cat to sleep.  They had watched her decline after many months of tests and shots and had even taken her to see Dr. Shin previously to do the procedure but tried one last time to see if she would revive after another round of B12 and antibiotics.  When   she could no longer walk, eat or drink, they knew if was time to end her suffering.  In walks Dr. Yoon, telling them they had done nothing for this cat and he suspected abuse!!!!   That is not how they wanted to say their goodbyes to the beautiful girl that had so filled their lives.  SHAME ON HIM!!!!!  He obviously did not look at any of the notes to see the great efforts they took to make her remaining time comfortable.  He turned a sad situation into uncontrollable grief. I've been using this veterinary office exclusively for my last few visits and I have to say- it might have gotten a bad rep for a bit but they are so awesome now.My cat developed a respiratory infection and secondary urinary inflammation and I brought her to see Dr. Runion- SO NICE.  Very thorough and kind.  The second time, I brought my little cattle dog, Annabelle, to get her nasty teeth cleaned.  She was previously a street dog and those chompers needed some love.  The whole process was great!  The front office staff, techs and Dr. Smith were all VERY on top of it.  The tech even saved the tooth that they pulled for me to see- how did she know I'd love that?!  I had questions after I brought my dog home as she was still lethargic and the tech called me back right away and was informative and patient.Last week, Annabelle hurt her back.  I was able to get a same day appointment even though they were PACKED.  I really appreciate their long hours, it makes it easy to schedule around the work day.  Annabelle was very scared while we waited, the girl at the front desk was very sweet to her.  I appreciated that.  The tech was great and listened to my concerns and did her best to make friends with my scared pup.  Dr. Runion was also great with her and explained what was going on in her xray.  They even just called to follow-up on her visit.This is 100% my place to go for my pet's care. Our dog was seizing and we made the humane choice for him. The lady vet was very warm and kind to Blanky our 14 year bull dog mix and my husband and I. The techs were very supportive and the vet (I will update with her name soon as I am home) and I were with him as he slept in my lap. I've had good experiences with this pet hospital. My last experience was not quite five stars. I took my dog in at 7:30am as an "emergency" patient and I was the only patient there.  I chose this hospital because their hours are 7 am to 10 pm. Since I work at 9 am and there was no way I could return I was there as early as possible. They said the earliest appointment was at 11 am and I could "drop off" my pet. That was a good option, however, I wanted to explain the doctor my pet's symptoms.  So I decided to wait. Long story short I wasn't seen until 9 am. Keep in mind I was the only one there and I was an emergency patient.  The doctor and staff were great. Not pleased with the wait as I was 45 minutes late to work and I was still charged the "emergency" rate. Read Less

A huge draw for this place is their hours, 7am-10pm. SO convenient that I don't have to miss work for vet visits. I've also never had a problem scheduling the exact time and day that I need/want. I've gotten next day appointments with no problem at all and they even asked me what time I want to come in.I wish I remembered the name of the tech who brought my cat (Boomer) out to me after his dental on 4/18/17, I want to say it was Audra? I apologize if I'm butchering it, but you know who you are! Thank for you taking the time to answer all my questions and for even going to digging up his old file from 2014 to compare blood work for me right then and there. She was so knowledgeable and helpful and friendly, and it is so important for pet owners during emotional times like these!They always call to follow up and see how your pet is doing a couple days later. Unfortunately today was the day I had to put my sweet cat to sleep. She was diagnosed by Dr. Yoon as diabetic in November of last year and had since seen Dr. Cha then finally Dr. Smith today. Thank you to all the vets and supporting staff who took such great care of her and helped me make a hard decision today. They have been very caring and looked after her best interest first these past months.I will be happy to take any pet I have in the future here as well as recommend my friends and family. My boyfriend and I have been here 3 times now with out shitzu Buster. Every time we go back it gets better and better. Leann made this visit for me. She was overly concerned and extremely nice. She made sure we were taken care of. Dr. Lorkowski made sure to check out Buster throughly and treat him. We were in and out in 45 minutes. Makes it painless. My first time visit was an emergency bases, i was sitting my brother's dog. My brother's dog was in very bad shape. He was on vacation in Portugal. They took her in and they tried to revive her. Norco Animal Hospital is an amazing place to take your pet to be looked after and cared for. My dog Roxie went in for a dental appointment on 2/22/2017, and was treated with the up most respect and love. While waiting, Dixie and other employees kept me entertained with their everyday stories, offered me cake, coffee, and updated me on when Roxie would be out. We took our 7 yr old beagle in on Saturday, she has blood in her urine, peeing in the house many times and not herself. We saw Dr. Cho, she did blood work and called us back in said Minnie was diabetic, they explained all of the meds, shots etc. however, she would call us with the results for the possible UTI on Sunday. So just before 4 pm I called since I hadn't heard from her. They said they had the labs and would print them and a doctor would call me. Just before 6 p.m. I called again, they said they didn't have a note to call and that Dr. Cho was out of the office until Wednesday, she would see if another doc could give results. Some time passes the receptionist called back, said that Dr. Cho emailed us the results, which we never got (They should update records at appts). I said we didn't get an email and could they re send or tell me what the results are? She said No, but if I felt it was an emergency I could bring her in tomorrow. WTH? Or wait until Wednesday when the vet she saw was back in the office. So no one else can give results? Does that sound okay with you? Wait til Wednesday to see if my dog needs an antibiotic or any other special treatment? Very discouraged with the care and now I question is she even diabetic or did they have me spend all this money for no reason?Read Less

Doctor was incompetent. Took x-rays and didn't see multiple abnormalities that were brought up by the next hospital we went to because they just turned us around because they didn't have the tools or time to do a surgery that wasn't necessary at all. I took my 7 month old Irish Setter puppy in because he wasn't feeling well. I had originally made an appt for the morning after but ended up taking him in right after I got off work at 7 pm because I got a little worried. They happily changed my appt and I got there about an hour early and was seen almost right away. I love that they don't close until 10 pm, because I definitely love to avoid an emergency vet if possible. Dr. Lorkowski was very pleasant and I was very pleased that she knew something about Irish Setters, as they aren't a very common breed. The staff were all wonderful with my puppy and, even though he's always happy about everything, I was very happy that his first experience with the vet was not a traumatizing one. Norco will now be my primary vet and I will be returning with both of my Setter's in the future. Definitely recommend this facility to anyone who is especially picky about medical care for their pets!Read Less

I was so happy I was able to get my Baylee in on Saturday. She was at the dog park and was running around with other dogs and pulled her dew claw all the way back. They were so kind to take her in and did a fantastic job. On my way there I stopped at another vet office closer and they wanted $75 for an emergency fee. I couldn't believe it. Thank you so much. 2 doctors on 2 different visits missed fluid in a lung and a broken rib on an X-ray. Clear as day. $850 later, no change. Another vet was able to provide the correct treatment and save him. Money driven doctors at NAH...which is unfortunate for the rest of the staff because they're pretty cool. Read Less

My experience here varies depending on who is working. I feel like they go through receptionist/nurses a lot and every year theres a new recruitment. About two years ago I had a few bad experiences each time I came in only because of the nurses. Though I went back when I needed to get my cat checked out a year ago and the nurses were different from the year before. Yesterday went again due to my dog needed wmergency surgery after a dog fight and I can say the nurses were amazing yesterday. Made me love this vet again and appreciate all they did for my dog. Prices are a bit ridiculous. My horse vet is way cheaper for three horses than taking one dog to the vet but overall a great place. Read Less

My puppy has seen Dr Siegel several times for an ongoing issue and she has been very good about only running test that she felt were needed only after other treatment failed. It is extremely easy to make appointments and the available appointment times are very helpful for a busy schedule. The front staff is helpful when I come in monthly for Rx food. I have waited longer than wanted at an appt but it is understandable in any medical office that spends the needed time with their patient to get a little behind. Too expensive! These guys just wanna suck the money out of you. Came here to have a foxtail removed from my dogs ear but they wanted almost $400!! So after having to pay $38 clinic fee for nothing I took the dog to riverside animal clinic and the vet there removed the foxtail in 15 minutes and just charged me the office visit ($35) Not recommended these guys are a rip off. I just want to warn everyone I can please don't take your pets to Norco Animal HospitalI will start off with my birthday it was 3-15-2003 but the doctors had my wrong birthday. I will tell you later why that mattered. I went to Norco Animal Hospital on 11-17-2015 because I ripped my dewclaw.When I was 3 I was bit by a rattlesnake and was scared of needles. So they needed to give me anesthesia. My mom scheduled me an appt and The Dr. put me to sleep to get me better. But what the hospital didn't tell her was they were in a hurry that night so I would not get an IV with surgery. It was disaster from the beginning. They basically sent me home paralyzed. My mom and dad took me back for fluids and was asked why they didn't authorize an IV during surgery, My mom was never asked she just assumed I would have one like I always had. But the truth is they didn't do one because they were too busy. Dr Siegel is a caring doctor but just rushed. Norco Animal Hospital is about making a quota not making us pets better. This is where my age comes into play.The second Dr that I saw when I was taken back because I was so sick said well she is almost 14. I am not and I was fine when I came in. I was running, eating, playing and was my normal self. They tried to blame my age for what they had did.After surgery I had an emergency when I was home and my mom called at 8:30 am 4 days after surgery and asked for Dr. Siegel. They told her Dr. Siegel was doing a procedure and would call her back. They never gave Dr. Siegel the message. Dr. Siegel got the message by looking on her computer and called my dad at 4:00 pm but it was too late I was sent to heaven with my tongue paralyzed from surgery and my back legs couldn't move.After one huge bill later my mom and dad did everything to save me but they saw me suffering and had to let me go. Norco Animal Hospital isn't a wise choice any longer please take your beloved pets somewhere else. It's too hard looking down from heaven seeing my family so torn up. They can't sleep and are sick now too. Please don't send another dog or cat to heaven right now we do love it on earth with our family more. I came here because my vet couldn't take me that day. My vet is fine but this place is better! This place is great! They even do follow up calls to see how your animal is doing. The office was nice the people were great!Read Less

I started going to this vet when a cat I had adopted from a co-worker got sick. First I took him to Acacia Animal Hospital in Corona off sixth street. They wouldn't even see my cat unless I paid $425 up front. I paid the money and they took him back. Shortly after taking him back, they told me that they needed to keep him overnight as he was dehydrated. This was a Friday late afternoon visit. They told me to keep him overnight they needed $2,600!!!! Seriously? I procrastinated as much as I could so my cat could at least get some fluids in him. Finally they told me yes or no? I told them no and took my cat home praying he'd make it to the next day. The next day I called Norco Animal Hospital, they saw my cat right away. BeBe has epilepsy and was very sick from the move (apparently not uncommon), that and we hadn't realized that he couldn't jump up to where to food was (out of the way of the dogs). We were sent home with vitamins, an IV line and bag to give him subcutaneous fluids and a prescription cat food. The ENTIRE visit cost me $114, that's it $114. The staff has always been nice, never rude. The doctors explain things to me in terms I understand if I don't already understand them. They are always super nice and treat my pets, my family.... like their family too. I would recommend them to anyone. I have 4 cats and 4 dogs (and a stray that we're trying to find the owners). This is by far the worst vet I have ever been to. DO NOT GO HERE. They kept my dog over night when it was not necessary and the meds they gave my dog made him extremely sick. I made an appointment for a check up over the phone and when I arrived they said they had no appointment for me and turned me away! THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR PET. They just want your money. Had to put my dog down yesterday 1/18/2012. The staff here was more than wonderful very carring and sympathetic to my situation. When I asked about the procedure they explained in detail how it was gonna go. And it went just like she said. It was a very quick and swift procedure, I was hoping she wouldn't wimper or cry and she didnt, not at all she just seemed to fall asleep and pass on. She didnt not suffer at all from the put down. She had a similar surgery here last august of 2010 and when i asked for fee reduction they gave me some they will work with you just ask!! I will always bring my pets here I think and felt they really do care about your animal and your feelings as well. In 2008, I stopped going here because they charged me a very inflated price to clean and medicate my dog's ears. But then, earlier this year, I had an emergency with a new puppy and they were still open at 9:45 at night. I ran in and told them what had happened. They were wonderful. They ran out, got her, treated her immediately, and didn't even charge me an emergency fee. . . I have been going there ever since (and I go there a lot as my dog has a congenital disorder), and they have been incredible and very reasonably priced. There are a lot of new people there that truly care about animals and aren't just concerned about making a buck. As long as Dr. Shin, Lanini, and Kuan (sp?) are there, I will stay. Read Less

I don't even know how many vet clinic over the years my animals have been to... I've left many clinics feeling lack of service and poor. My friend recomm me to this place, it's a bit far from OC, but thought I'd give it a try. I had a great beginning to end exp from their friendly/prof staff to their understanding and knowledgeable vets. Price was great. Office visit was less 40% from what I pay for in OC and didn't charge for the topical treatment! I will def return for shot sat. and have recomm this place for all my cat/dog mommies. I took my German Shepard to this clinic for surgery, and let me tell you the staffs are very cold , uncaring and unfriendly and they charged me a much-inflated price for a simple surgery. When I asked questions about the procedure the doctor was not able to give me a straight answer it seem to me they care more about your money then your pets. Read Less

They quoted me one price over the phone, then when I took my dogs in, they charged me a much inflated price. I tried to argue the price, but they said the office manager was not there. So I payed because there was no time to go elsewhere. I called the next day and they were very rude and talking over me and would not even listen to my side of the story. Would not recommend this place. Plenty of other choices out there. I now go to Centennial Animal Hospital. They have a very friendly staff. It's just up the freeway. And there's Four Paws for grooming just up Sixth St. Go anywhere but here. Read Less
