Unfortunately I have had the worst experience with the staff here. 2 weeks of waiting for a call back from their vet after they took X-rays and scheduled surgery that my horse “might” need. I called and left numerous messages and nothing.... my horse is still in pain and I have yet to get any answers! The receptionist is just completely incompetent and very rude!

The vet was professional & did a good job. However, the billing department is beyond incompetent and I am being forced to pay a bill that is not mine.

The vet was professional & did a good job. However, the billing department is beyond incompetent and I am being forced to pay a bill that is not mine.
I called Norco Equine to my ranch to see a horse that did not belong to me. I made them aware that I was calling on behalf of the owner and that the owner would be paying the bill, not me. The owner of the horse was present when the vet came and paid the bill with his credit card at that time using the vet's card reader.
Not long after, Norco Equine billed me for the service. I called them and reminded them that the owner was responsible for the bill and that he had already paid with his credit card, and they told me the payment had not gone through due to insufficient internet service at my ranch.
Ok, no problem, I gave them the contact info for the horse's owner so they could contact him and have him take care of the bill. I also apprised the owner of the situation.
As far as I know, they never contacted the owner or tried to bill him, but just kept sending me bills for the service. I called them a minimum of 4 times after that, either leaving a message containing the owner's contact info or speaking to a live person and giving the same.
At some point they told me that I was responsible since it was my ranch they had visited. NO! It was very clear from the very beginning that the horse owner was responsible, and that person had already attempted to pay the bill at the time of the visit!
So they sent my bill to collections against me and now it's a black mark on my credit report! I am beyond angry about this, but it seems that I just have to pay this bill since they are utterly incompetent and/or fraudulent in their billing practices.
I liked the vet, but will NEVER use this place again.

My 18yo mare had to be brought in as an emergency 2 weeks ago. Misha was my emergency equine ambulance...she was amazing. Kind, quiet and gentle with my mare who was in colic distress. When we arrived at the hospital, Misha led her into the stocks (my mare had never been in stocks before) and again was kind, gentle and patient with her. Got her in the stocks in 5 minutes! My mare was needle phobic, so again with patience and knowledge, they were able to sedate her, and place an IV and evaluate her condition.Dr. Burke was amazing. She was so thorough, and even consulted with Dr. Wan, and we all agreed with Lucy's condition and the potential outcome. Once we decided that the kindest, and unselfish thing to do was to let Lucy go, Dr. Burke gave me her shoulder to cry on. What a kind and caring person and Vet. The staff was quiet and kind with Lucy who could be very challenging (some would say dangerous) but they treated her with dignity, and respect. Didn't manhandle her, or berate her. And she responded to their kindness. Under the difficult circumstances, they were all very helpful, and the facility is clean, modern, and use state of art technology. Thank you to all who helped Lucy through her circumstances.

Chili's Techs Melissa and Erica The BEST think they kind of liked him ;)..The care Chili Got was the best i have seen at a Vet Hospital. Went there to get a vet check on a horse for a potential buyer. One of the vets, Dr. Tim? Said the horse passed in his eyes, but the female vet who proclaimed her checks were 'very thorough' failed the horse. So our buyer was out $430+ and no horse. We got a new vet check today with x-rays included for another potential buyer with a different vet and the horse passed with flying colors. Sorry, I think your thorough exam was just a way of saying, "I will find a way to fail this horse". The original potential buyer is now super bummed and pissed that she spent the money and I feel bad, because the horse was truly everything we said and more and she could have had a great partner.I also feel that because we told the vet the potential buyer hadn't been able to ride the horse yet she was going to fail him anyways, because she put her judgement ahead of what was ethical and true. She even stated she didn't agree with it.

The vet was professional & did a good job. However, the billing department is beyond incompetent and I am being forced to pay a bill that is not mine.

The vet was professional & did a good job. However, the billing department is beyond incompetent and I am being forced to pay a bill that is not mine.
I called Norco Equine to my ranch to see a horse that did not belong to me. I made them aware that I was calling on behalf of the owner and that the owner would be paying the bill, not me. The owner of the horse was present when the vet came and paid the bill with his credit card at that time using the vet's card reader.
Not long after, Norco Equine billed me for the service. I called them and reminded them that the owner was responsible for the bill and that he had already paid with his credit card, and they told me the payment had not gone through due to insufficient internet service at my ranch.
Ok, no problem, I gave them the contact info for the horse's owner so they could contact him and have him take care of the bill. I also apprised the owner of the situation.
As far as I know, they never contacted the owner or tried to bill him, but just kept sending me bills for the service. I called them a minimum of 4 times after that, either leaving a message containing the owner's contact info or speaking to a live person and giving the same.
At some point they told me that I was responsible since it was my ranch they had visited. NO! It was very clear from the very beginning that the horse owner was responsible, and that person had already attempted to pay the bill at the time of the visit!
So they sent my bill to collections against me and now it's a black mark on my credit report! I am beyond angry about this, but it seems that I just have to pay this bill since they are utterly incompetent and/or fraudulent in their billing practices.
I liked the vet, but will NEVER use this place again.

My 18yo mare had to be brought in as an emergency 2 weeks ago. Misha was my emergency equine ambulance...she was amazing. Kind, quiet and gentle with my mare who was in colic distress. When we arrived at the hospital, Misha led her into the stocks (my mare had never been in stocks before) and again was kind, gentle and patient with her. Got her in the stocks in 5 minutes! My mare was needle phobic, so again with patience and knowledge, they were able to sedate her, and place an IV and evaluate her condition.Dr. Burke was amazing. She was so thorough, and even consulted with Dr. Wan, and we all agreed with Lucy's condition and the potential outcome. Once we decided that the kindest, and unselfish thing to do was to let Lucy go, Dr. Burke gave me her shoulder to cry on. What a kind and caring person and Vet. The staff was quiet and kind with Lucy who could be very challenging (some would say dangerous) but they treated her with dignity, and respect. Didn't manhandle her, or berate her. And she responded to their kindness. Under the difficult circumstances, they were all very helpful, and the facility is clean, modern, and use state of art technology. Thank you to all who helped Lucy through her circumstances.

Chili's Techs Melissa and Erica The BEST think they kind of liked him ;)..The care Chili Got was the best i have seen at a Vet Hospital. They really listen to what issues your pet is having, they always take their time in diagnosing a problem before just handing out a ton of medications. Overall they really know what they are doing.

Went there to get a vet check on a horse for a potential buyer. One of the vets, Dr. Tim? Said the horse passed in his eyes, but the female vet who proclaimed her checks were 'very thorough' failed the horse. So our buyer was out $430+ and no horse. We got a new vet check today with x-rays included for another potential buyer with a different vet and the horse passed with flying colors. Sorry, I think your thorough exam was just a way of saying, "I will find a way to fail this horse". The original potential buyer is now super bummed and pissed that she spent the money and I feel bad, because the horse was truly everything we said and more and she could have had a great partner.I also feel that because we told the vet the potential buyer hadn't been able to ride the horse yet she was going to fail him anyways, because she put her judgement ahead of what was ethical and true. She even stated she didn't agree with it.
