My 18yo mare had to be brought in as an emergency 2 weeks ago. Misha was my emergency equine ambulance...she was amazing. Kind, quiet and gentle with my mare who was in colic distress. When we arrived at the hospital, Misha led her into the stocks (my mare had never been in stocks before) and again was kind, gentle and patient with her. Got her in the stocks in 5 minutes! My mare was needle phobic, so again with patience and knowledge, they were able to sedate her, and place an IV and evaluate her condition.Dr. Burke was amazing. She was so thorough, and even consulted with Dr. Wan, and we all agreed with Lucy's condition and the potential outcome. Once we decided that the kindest, and unselfish thing to do was to let Lucy go, Dr. Burke gave me her shoulder to cry on. What a kind and caring person and Vet. The staff was quiet and kind with Lucy who could be very challenging (some would say dangerous) but they treated her with dignity, and respect. Didn't manhandle her, or berate her. And she responded to their kindness. Under the difficult circumstances, they were all very helpful, and the facility is clean, modern, and use state of art technology. Thank you to all who helped Lucy through her circumstances. Read Less
