4 months ago , the vet at creekside diagnosed my shepherd with pancreatitis. What was initially troubling, was the 600.00 bill I got where he added additional treatments, meds, that were added in case it was something else despite doing a blood test confirming pancreatitis. This was my fault for giving the ok because I was desperate to get my young shepherd healthy. What was more troubling is that she was given prescription GI food for her condition for 2 weeks but the doctor refused to renew the prescription food if I didn't pay for another blood test to recheck her pancreas. Though this blood test is standard, I could not afford to spend another 150.00 after already pay ing 600.00 2 weeks earlier. All I asked was to be able to keep my dog on the prescription diet since she was doing so well, for another month which would give me time to save up for additional blood test cost. They gave me a one time purchase prescription butbrefused to extend the precription despite the fact that he insisted she would most likely have to remain on this food because of her condition. This food cost 90.00 for a 20 lb bag, so I was already paying 200.00/mo. For prescription dog food. I went to Banfield vet in pet smart, showed the vet proof of her pancreatitis from paperwork at creekside, and they gave me 6 mos extension on prescription food. Had I not done this, she would of had to eat over the counter food which would have triggered her pancreatitis again. Shameful. Read Less

Very nice vet that takes time to explain things, pricing was way below what I was paying at my other office and instead of giving me vaccines my dog may or may not have needed, he asked me to return with our previous paperwork to ensure that they only give what is needed and /or wanted. The vet is extremely knowledgeable and he gives you many options to treating your dog. I love that he explains everything in detail (A LOT OF DETAIL) and makes me feel like I a better dog owner thanks to that. They have some of the best prices in town. I strongly recommend their Saturday clinic for shots, microchip and routine test (parasites, heartworm, parvo). Extremely disappointed in the mis-diagnosis of our Labrador Retriever. Brought her in after what appeared to us to be a stroke. Dr Ghuman wanted to treat her for her hips and other issues. (She is 14 years old, mobile and OFA excellent) Went for a second opinion and that veterinarian IMMEDIATELY recognized Vestibular Disease (which the Doctor at Creekside never mentioned) A quick google search described every symptom and it is very common. So upset, if we had moved forward with these unnecessary treatments it would have been ridiculous. Read Less

I loved this place even before I met the doctor. The intake staff are very attentive and helpful. I was going there to get my cat's special diet for a while before my cat's annual check up for months and they are always great. One of the ladies actually fostered our cat before we adopted him from Happy Tails, a nice surprise. Then we had our check up today and the doctor took time to explain everything.The doctor has a very educational approach, which I feel makes us better pet owners. I even ran into him in the lobby prior to our appt(last week) and had a learning moment. You can tell these people take pride in what they do! I highly recommend them for their personalized service. I love this place, I started going for the discount shot clinic when Cash was a puppy and it was great. Then I found out my Rufus has serious allergies and I'm so glad to have them on my side. The girls are so sweet and Dr. Ghuman really knows his stuff. The first few appointments I had for Rufus were some of the longest I've ever had, Dr. Ghuman spent so much time with me explaining what was happening, what it meant for the long run and what the best course of action was. He even calls after appointments when we've done and talked about a lot to make sure I understand everything and don't have any questions. The best part is he's always working with me to keep treatment as inexpensive as possible. I love that I've found a Dr who not only has my dogs best interest at heart but also my wallets haha. I may have ended up with a medically difficult dog but I'm lucky to have found my vet angel, I couldn't recommend him enough, especially if your animal has allergies, he has a second degree in that specifically. You might have to wait a bit sometimes but it's worth it because he'll spend as much time as he needs to with you as well making sure all bases are covered. Read Less

They helped my dog and gave him a second chance when his old vet wanted to put him down about 2 years ago. My Zeus has been battling cancer for over 2 years and this place has made it as comfortable for him as possible. They even helped out with the costs of a bladder surgery needed so he would only go to the bathroom when he wanted to instead of having accidents all the time, a result of his brain cancer. Took my 3 months old puppy here after banfield charged us so much money $$$ for two shots (dapp and bordetella). It is very quiet and I like the feel of the space very much. The front staffs were friendly and they gave my puppy lots of attention. You can tell they really love animals. There is only one main vet and he is phenomenal! He told me so much about my new puppy and keep reassuring that I know what he was talking about the whole time. He even brought out a paper with all the shots that my puppy will need and what they do. He was also very nice to checked and combed my puppy for fleas and ticks when I told him she has been scratching herself a lot lately. He is very patient and an expert in his field. If you listen carefully to what he say I bet you will know more about your dog after each visit with him. I wish I can give this place 5 stars but 1 minus is for the puppy plan I bought for my puppy. It says on their website that the $50 puppy plan comes with a free kit of heartworm dosage but I did not receive it at time of the visit. I do know that their website hasn't been updated since 2013 so I do not know if they change it or not. I also emailed the place before I went in to ask if their coupon was still usuable since it says expired in 2013 already. One of the staff emailed me back saying yes it is still usuable and that the puppy plan is only $45 not $50 like on the website. I should of show them the email because I was charged $50. Also the wait was quite long. Our appointment was at 4:30pm and we did not see him until around 5:15pm but it was well worth it since he was a great vet! VERY FAIR prices for an EXCEPTIONAL veterinarian!!! The staff has been lovely as well! I began going here after multiple bad experiences with VCA and won't be going anywhere else! My much loved pup Tosh.0 got a foxtail in his paw. The VCA charged me $400 for a non invasive "flushing" procedure in an attempt to remove the foxtail, since invasive surgery would cost $900. They failed to remove the foxtail. Fed up with their poor service, rude staff, and high prices I decided to take Tosh to Creekside Pet Hospital instead. The one and only amazing veterinarian running the place (I am embarrassed to say I don't know his name) put Tosh under for a thorough surgery to remove the foxtail for less than $350!!! And if I recall correctly, this included a head cone and antibiotics as well! This vet genuinely wants those of us tight in budget to still be able to give our loved pets the treatment and care they need! I have taken him here ever since! Just had another great experience when I took him in for skin allergies. I couldn't afford the treatment needed at the time, even though his prices were very reasonable for what was needed. The veterinarian told me what I could do in the mean time to prevent it from worsening and told me to come back when I was ready to go through with treatment. When I did, he examined Tosh to make sure the needed treatment was still the same WITHOUT charging me for another exam since the last exam I paid for I left without treatment! He's out to help your furry friends, not to drain your wallet. I also love how thoroughly he explains and teaches you what is really going on with your pet, what ALL your options are, and what are possible benefits/consequences of each option. I love this pet hospital because of the main vet. I use to go to a VCA in Greenhaven and they just seemed shady and I felt like they weren't about the pets. He was extremely unprofessional, charged twice what other vets charge in the area. He abruptly with no sympathy said "your dog has cancer and is dying". When I asked for the x-Rays to get a second opinion he said I had to give him $50 cash and wouldn't even let me take photos of the x-Rays I paid for to get a second opinion. worst Experience ever at a Vet! Do not go here for Vet services. Dr. G overcharges, lies about costs, and is incapable of resolving issues that arise with dissatisfied customers. He talked down to us like we were too stupid to understand anything, and treated us like children. He made us wait to speak with him, then came in the room with already preconceived notions of what his opinion was and not willing to resolve anything. When the facts were presented to him, he still insisted on charging us for fees we didn't authorize, and tried to intimidate us. I just feel horrible for his staff who works under him. If he mistreats his customers so harshly, imagine how he treats his staff?! Unacceptable manners for a Dr. and owner of his own business! He should know better. Keeping customers happy, keeps them coming back, and keeps them referring their friends. He would make more money if he swallowed his pride, listened more, and had some consideration for the animal he treats and their family who loves them enough to bring them into his clinic. Read Less

I took the love of my life here shortly after he joined my family. I learned he was very sick. Dr. G took at least 45 min explaining what was happening. He gave us option's about his treatment and didn't pressure me to choose the more expensive. My 3 month old Pom ended up hospitalized here for 3 or 4 days. They were great about me calling like a worried mother twice a day. The girl's behind the counter always show my baby so much love and attention. I really liked how well Dr. G explained everything. It wasn't cheap, but the cost didn't really bother me because of how well the Dr was. The only thing was a follow up appointment that was suggested was not included. I would think after paying over $1500 we could get a quick "he's doing great" for reassurance. But hey I guess that's life. We will be going back :) Read Less

Mr. Navdeep Ghuman, I paid over $200 to fix my cat's absess.  For this fee, Mr. Ghuman opened the cat's wound and gave me anitibiotic pills for the cat.  This left the cat with a gapping wound and antibiotics.  Ghuman told me that for $400 he would have sewn up the wound.  This doctor is a jerk.  He collected over $200 and let my cat go home with a gapping wound and some anitbiotic.  He could have put a few stitches in to protect the wound, but no, he was interested in his profits.  His greed put my cat at risk. In addition, this guy was arrogant and condecenting. I wouldn't go back to this practice unless I had no option. Read Less

Took my cat here because they have a vaccine clinic on Saturdays; noon - 3pm.  This is a great deal if you just need a vaccine.  Hence my 4 stars.  BUT!!  words of caution.  The staff does not really control the lobby.  When I was there, a young couple with a small child were trying to control a very large Staffordshire Bull Terrier and what looked like a Great Dane mix.  The Dane was pretty well behaved but the bull dog was anxious and a bit out of control.   Then another young man came in with a PIt Bull.  The Pit Bull and Bull Dog immediately tried to get at each other.  There just wasn't enough room in that tiny lobby for me, my carrier, the family of 3 with their two large dogs, the prior customer with his 3 cats in carriers and the Pit Bull and owner.  Plus the Pit Bull was on a pinch collar which tells me its very hard to handle and it was.  The owner had a tough time keeping it from the Bull Dog.  Then the front door opened and an older lady with two dachunds on leashes tried to get in.  Both the Bull Dog and the Pit Bull tried to get those dachunds and the lady quickly backed out saying "I can't go in there".   Obviously the vaccine clinic is popular. But large dog owners and Pit Bull owners should have to leave their animals in the car until its their turn.  IMO, it was a really dangerous situation.  If you go to this clinic, DO NOT hand carry your cat or small dog, put it in a pet carrier.  If the hospital reads this, please review how you handle the crowds and animals that are visiting you. I've been taking all of my pets (currently four cats and one dog) to Dr. Ghuman for many years.  He has always explained every diagnosis, test result, condition, etc., in complete detail.  He is quick to ask if I have any questions for him, which he patiently answers for me.  I have two animals that require advanced care.  I have a cat that needs insulin shots twice daily and a dog that has chronic pancreatitis.  Dr. Ghuman was quick in diagnosing the conditions of both animals and implementing a permanent treatment course for both of them.  I am able to buy their prescription pet food at his office, which is convenient.  The staff is always friendly and pleasant, as is Dr. Ghuman. Dr Ghuman Is the best!  We've been taking our fur babies to see him and his staff at Creekside for the past few years and couldn't be happier with how thorough, informative and kind everyone is there.  They are always willing to squeeze you in at the last minute and we've NEVER had a problem with getting an appointment, even on the same day.  He never rushes the exam and always takes time to explain everything he does.  His explanation of treatment for each of our babies when they've had health issues was clear and concise and just by following exactly what he said, our babies pulled through their traumas with flying colors.  If it wasn't for Dr Ghuman the baby of the family, Apollo, would have lost his eye from an ulcerated cornea.  Thanks to him, Apollo has both eyes and you would never be able to tell he had any eye problems in the past with the expert way he now hunts and catches flies.  By Far the best experience ever with a Vet and Vet hospital in all the years I've had animal companions. I just visited this place after getting recommendation from one of my friend. We moved here recently from another state. My dog is been suffering from allergies since the day he is born. I tried many different vets with every medicine possible, but that never made any difference in my dogs life. When I visited creekside pet hospital, that day I actually came to understand what is going on with my dog's allergies. Dr. Ghuman explained everything in a way that was so simple to understand. His explanation increased my understanding of my dog's condition. It is been 2 months since we started taking my dog to creekside pet hospital, Now I can tell my dog is virtually free of allergies and suffering. A friend recommended Creekside Pet Hospital after I was not able to get an appointment with my regular vet in a timely manner. I didn't feel that it was an emergency but wanted my dog evaluated as soon as possible. Unfortunately xrays showed that my beloved search and rescue dog was seriously ill. Scout was a very special part of my family and the bond I had with him cannot be described. He was twelve years old and had been searching just a few weeks prior. Shortly after his last search I noticed he didn't want to load up into the vehicle and had lost his appetite. Dr. Guhman was so supportive. He was easy to talk to and very gently explained that my dog had a huge mass on his liver and several other masses near the kidneys and near his back. Rather than have Scout suffer further I opted to euthanize him. It was a difficult day to say the least.
