Handle pets great. They have separate waiting areas for cats and dogs so your pet does not freak from smelling a cat or dog near by and feeling trapped in a cage with no escape. I brought my four year old male cat to get neutered, wormed and his nails cut. Oreo was ready to go home within five hours as promised. He was bright eyed and sassy as usual. I just adopted a dog a few months ago, and as a relatively new pet parent I was on the hunt for a good place to take her, both to have a regular vet and also because she came down with a UTI. On the advice of my roommate I brought her to Grand Lake, who fit us in relatively easily. Dr. Rabwin helped us get her set straight with meds and a heartworm test. She also called me back a week later when my girl was still showing symptoms and helped refill the medication. I haven't been there beyond these few instances but I appreciate how they explained their charges and seemed like they'd be open if I needed to take off some optional things/needed more explanation. I am young and single on a non-profit's salary, but I know that veterinary services aren't inexpensive and I don't get the impression that they are overcharging me- they're just being fair. I took my dog Lola in because she had been throwing up for weeks and I was worried. When I went in the first time they ended up taking x rays and doing blood work. Afterwards I was told that the X-ray was not viable because she had food in her stomach. I was not informed before coming in that I should have fasted her or even asked before they took her back if she had ate anything within the last 12hours or that morning. I had to make a second appointment and repay for an X-ray after I fasted her. Had they informed me before hand I would not have proceed with an x ray the first time.I paid 200 for the first unusable x ray and then a "discounted" rate for their mistake. I'm a student I don't have money to throw away on their mistakes. Needless to say I was not happy. How often is it you go in for a treatment and the doctor forgets to inform you to fast before a procedure? Part of the treatment is the preparation for the procedure. Ask questions, don't rely on the staff to keep you informed. Read Less

What a place, it's business not a friendly pet place. Was here today with my girlfriend with the dog we rescued from the shelter, we got the number from the paper shelter gave us and it said this place would offer a free visit, our dog did not any noticeable problem but we still wanted to make sure and he was due a vaccine so we went there today ,our appointment was at 3 o'clock. We waited to be seen by someone for 15 min. We told the doctor the situation she did a quick check and said awkwardly not telling us about what was next.  We waited in that room for 45 min till I knocked the door and asked for the doctor,they said she would come soon and was preparing the shot (?) It seemed like she was inventing it. Another 15 min passed and no body came in so I went to reception,after that they finally send 2 guys  to do the shot,they said they were sorry but they were the only ones who did this. Excuse me !? Why am i not being informed and you are making me waith for 1 hour without they my permission!? They did the shots in less than 5 minutes and left. And another lady came afterwards  and GAVE US A HUGE BILL OF 202! WE WENT THERE JUST FOR A VACCINE! ??WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?WE WERE NOT INFORMED OR ASKED FOR ANY OF THE STUFF WE PAID FOR! WE WERE JUST HANDED A BILL AND ASKED FOR A CARD, THE VACCINE WE WERE THERE FOR COST 23 DOLLARS AND THIS PEOPLE MANAGED TO TAKE THE WHOLE MONEY WE HAD IN OUR POCKETS AND MADE US WAIT FOR 1 HOUR 56 MINUTES.  JUST AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE. HATED ALL PARTS OF IT AND NEVER EVER GOING BACK AND DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. BEWARE! Read Less

This place is okay, I have more confidence in the Vet's here. I wish they were upfront about their pricing/charges. Ask them to call pet prescriptions to Costco pharmacy or Walmart because the price of their pet prescriptions is far over what you would pay at Walmart or Costco.Read Less

I absolutely love this vet! The staff are always happy, helpful and take great care of my dog who is getting older. Prices are reasonable also but the affection and care they show toward animals is more than I could ask for or want for my boy. Dr.Schultz was very good about calling with results Of blood work up and when it wasn't good, his recommended next move provided the results we needed for Tango. No 'test this, then go see specialist for that,' . I felt like he really knew his stuff and followed thru with phone calls without passing it off on other staff (which, btw, are easy to talk with as well as helpful). Just wish it wasn't such a large practice. A small practice with on vet and a couple other staff makes you feel like ur not just a client number.Read Less

I have known Dr. Harry for , oh well over 20 years. I have taken many animals to him. He has NEVER turned me away when I had an emergency whether he had been treating the animal or not.. I highly recommend him. He is a really nice person and is knowledgeable about veterinary medicine and cares about the animals he sees...or at least all of mine that he has seen. Love Broadway Pet Hospital! Dr. Harry and his staff are wonderful! My pets even like going there. We have two dogs and one cat. They are not that scared as they would be at other vets. Been coming here for many years and will continue. Dr. Harry is very experienced and kind. He always takes into consideration the price and cost of services and will try to treat at the lower costs first. I do not feel that he is trying to run all sorts of tests for no reason. Dr. Harry Ladhar saved my kitty Baby Oliver who tangled with a squirrel he got clawed on the nose and ear. Thanks to Dr. Ladhar's quick help with re-hydrating Ollie and the timed released medicine and blood work. My Baby Ollie is still with us and back to normal. It was great as always. They helped my baby kitty get rid of her worms!. I would have gave it a full stars but they put the flea med on not directly on her back shoulder blades. So it was on a part that she could luck it all off. That stuff is too expensive to just let her lick it off which is what she did :( any way. Read Less
