I moved out of the Oakland Hills, and because of distance quit seeing Dr. Jameson. Biggest mistake ever. I now drive well over an hour each way to take my pups to him, and it's worth every bit of time and gas it takes. He recently added an assistant, Sharifa, and she is so completely fantastic as well. Basically, he sees my pets, diagnoses them correctly without running a lot of unnecessary tests, and gets them feeling better in a short amount of time without draining my bank account. For a while I was paying over twice as much for less than half the care, and that'll never happen again. That's the general greatness, here's a story about Pickles. Pickles is a 12 y/o mini dachshund, she developed a very quickly growing mass on her breast. It's cancer, and Dr Jameson is worried about surgery because of her having a bad heart, her age, and obesity. So we wait it out, and get ready to say our goodbyes. Things get worse, we call him and discuss the options. We opt for surgery, knowing she could pass on the table. She comes out of it in great shape! The scar is barely visible, her attitude and general demeanor is better than it's been in years. He even clipped away the excess stomach skin from the weight she lost, and it looked like a tummy tuck. She's still going strong, but we know it's only a matter of time until the cancer comes back. But Dr Jameson is the only vet I'll feel confident in treating her when the time comes. Read Less
