DO NOT COME HERE. The vet is an angry man who will rob you blind if you bring your pet to him. He takes advantage of your emotions and makes up his own prices that make no sense. He is unprofessional and yells at distressed pet owners if they have an issue with his “pricing”. After being yelled at and forced to pay a huge bill I still don’t know what’s wrong with my fur baby. Dr. Sidhu was absolutely wonderful and the staff were very caring. My furry baby ended up being a little expensive, but thank goodness for the reasonable prices, or else I wouldn't have been able to get the awesome care for him he needed. The Dr. caught a heart murmur that could have shortened my little baby's life if he hadn't. I know my babies will continue to get awesome care here. The Dr. Is very caring and compassionate. My puppy recently became very sick, so I took him to AR animal hospital, because when my cats incision came open, he saved her and I had a very pleasant experience, considering the circumstances. The Dr explained everything to me, in detail and stayed after hours to fix her. Turns out my pup had parvo and had to be hospitalized, a couple days later, his sister came down with it too. They listened and I feel they truly care. My girl has to have her blanket and shirt and they let her keep it with her. I was able to call to check on them and visit them as much as I wanted and I did... A lot! Lol they never made me feel like I was bugging them and answered all my questions. It's been almost a week since I brought my baby girl home and they both are doing amazing, right back to normal. They called today to check on them, which I thought was very nice. The worst vet I've ever been to! If you're going to get your dog an injection for allergies ask about the medication and the side effects because my dog started throwing up and he basically told me that if he's throwing up it's not because of the steroid he gave my dog! Sketchy and shady place don't take your dog here I even asked the girl what was the name of the steroid and she didn't want to tell me the name she said I don't know and I had to bug for her to tell me the name It's dexamethasone! I called banfield they are a bit pricey that's usually where I take my other dog but because this place was close to home I'd thought I could just get something real quick for my dog's allergies I should've just went to Dr. Sesody at banfield they actually care about our fur babies. Not like this vet he just wanted to get me in and out didn't really care. Banfield said it seems as if this vet here didn't want to take liability for what's happened to my dog so he denied the vomiting had to do with the steroid he injected my dog with. Was definitely NOT SATISFIED with the services I got at this vet clinic for the amount of money I spent (1000$+). He gave my dog medications that hurt my puppies health. Reading the rest of reviews I can agree he very interested in running up your tab when he sees the opportunity. I took my puppy here for the "affordable prices" to get his shots. While he was getting his shots my puppies stool was coming out watery and took him to get treated for it. It turns out he had glaccidia and another parasite infection so I paid for the treatment. Turns out one of the medications he gave my puppy was making him very sick. He was losing his vision and his eyes would barely open. Eventually the medication caused my puppy to throw up and run a high fever as his body went into shock so immediately I took him to the vet worried he might have caught parvo but suspecting it was the medication. This is where I believe he saw an opportunity to make money insisting I have him stay over night so that Pablo "wouldn't die from high fever." I didn't want my puppy to die so I paid 600+ dollars to have him stay overnight with fluid therapy I don't think he needed. He even suggested I do another day lol. So when I went to pick him up I stopped giving him the medication to see if that was the problem. It was! I had given it to again because I knew it was important to fight the parasites. He threw up again and his body went into shock. I treated him that night by putting wet towel on his body and he made it through the night. The vet was responsible for the shock that cost me 600+ dollars to treat. I told him that the medication caused him to throw up and he thought I was crazy. I told him I didn't appreciate him giving my puppy bad medication and he said it was most likely because he was allergic to it. Horrible service and he will take advantage of your wallet given the opportunity. Simply said, "LOOK FOR ANOTHER VET." After all that time and money my dog still had watery stool. ***please note***I noticed all bad reviews are hidden on this page. And the doctor tries to justify his actions. He's so concerned with his reviews because he kept calling us after my mother posted a bad review after he killed our dog.Our 10 year old shih tzu had a laceration that required surgery. Long story short, because of the doctors negligence and malpractice, Kiara died overnight. She didn't react well to the procedures and medication. We were under the impression that she would be fine after surgery because that's what we were told but this place does not have 24 hour care so Kiara died alone in an unfamiliar place with no family to console her. Now our family will have to live with that guilt forever.The day she died, we went to say goodbye and to tell her we were sorry for allowing that to happen to her. We arranged for cremation and paid an additional $90 so that they would pick her up that same day. Looking back, the vet was acting so odd. He seemed startled and shocked and very hesitant to speak to us...and now I realize it was because he knew he killed her and he was shocked that we weren't yelling at him! I feel so guilty and devastated that I wasn't able to be there for my pretty girl but I hope she knows that we love her very much and that we're so sorry. Please avoid this place. Read Less

Excellent, considering the circumstances; my daughter was still a teen when her cat, Millie, had a lump that was diagnosed as Cancer. Millie had surgery but unfortunately she developed a second site. The Doctor was so kind and compassionate, including my daughter fully in every conversation and decision. Her first experience with loss was so much less traumatic because of him. I strongly recommend this Dr. He has taken care of all my grand"fur"babies. and there are quite a few. Dr. takes his time never rushes and he explains everything thoroughly and he is very aware of our limited budget. He went above and beyond when we took our baby JOJO, he was getting ready to walk out the door, but he went the extra mile and stayed he explained that our boy was in bad shape and explained all our options along with the possible outcomes. Our boy passed away and Dr. personally called me to offer condolences. I have never had a vet do that. The staff is amazing, they truly love animals. The office is clean and the front desk staff is friendly, but the Dr....I didn't feel like he treated my dog as a patient. he treated us like customers. i suppose it was because they were running a special on dental supplies. but, instead of servicing the flea situation on my dog, he tried for ten minutes selling us dental services. I took my pet to another clinic (not going to mention any names). I took her there so she could get spayed I went in that morning and picked her up later that afternoon. The nurse came into the room and handed me my dog and said have a nice day and before I could even ask any questions she walked away she didn't give me any medication or instruction on how to care for my pet after the surgery So fast forward to later on that afternoon we were sitting on the couch when I got up there was a stain of blood on the couch I freaked out. When I looked at her belly her incision was open. So I rushed her back to the clinic Where she got spayed they told me that they were closing for the night and could attend me that I was more than welcome to make an appointment in the morning and that I would have to pay an exam fee. Why would I have to pay an exam fee when this was clearly there fault I was so upset and scared that my pet was going to bleed out or it was going to get infected and she would die. So I called my niece because she works at a vet place I didn't think they would attend me because by this time It was already around 6pm I called her and she told me to come in immediately. So I rushed over there I arrived around 6:45. The dr had already gone home for the night so he had to come back (which I am honestly so great full that he did) He told me that she would have to go under anesthesia again and have the procedure done all over again. I trusted him and they took my dog to the back and began working on her (keep in mind they close at 7pm). I went in the next day in the morning to pick her up and the dr explained to me that I should keep her indoors and restrict her activities. He also gave me some pain medication and antibiotics to go home with. I honestly don't know what I would have done with out dr.sidhu and his staff they were amazing and you could tell they were so loving and caring to my pet. Not only that but he didn't even charge me the exam fee and his prices were so reasonable compared to the first place that I took her.i honestly don't know why I didn't take here there in the first place I really do recommend AR animal hospital to everyone. We were looking for a vet that we liked and were recommended AR Animal hospital by a great friend. The hospital and staff were great they treated my baby with such care and understood that she might be a bit nippy due to discomfort the leg caused her. Our appointment was a day the normal vet was not in, but we wanted to get this fixed so we took her in the Dr was very nice and let us know what she thought; took a few X-rays and let me know she had floating knee caps which apparently is common for chihuahuas. The Dr that saw me that day put my baby on some oral medication and recommended to come in when the usual vet was in for a second opinion and a price on the surgery due to needing a specialist. I made an appointment that day to come back; when I came back the other vet was just as wonderful (gentle and nice to my baby). He agreed with the first vet that she should get her knees fixed and that it would resolve the problem. If my baby needed surgery OF COURSE lets do it (side note: just because you don't have the funds or luxury of being able to care for your pet correctly it doesn't mean the poor vet is evil and trying to pry the money out of your stingy hands). We agreed he was going to call the specialist and call me to set up an appointment; that day my baby had her appointment. She got both knees fixed, had 2 hernias that where also fixed, and an ACL that we did not know of at a HUGE discount; the specialist was also WONDERFUL he took the time to personally call me and explain the surgery to me, left me some detailed notes on the surgery, and after care instructions. My baby bruised a bit from the surgery I got a bit scared so the vet allowed me to come in have her checked out and he calmed my nerves even offered to let my baby stay in the hospital for observation everyday until I felt comfortable enough to leave her alone. Having all these wonderful people working to better the life of my pet makes me feel great about recommending AR Animal Hospital to everyone. You can tell they care and I thank Dr. Sidhu and his staff not only for giving the best care for my baby but for finding the appropriate people to fix my baby. Don't take your pet to this place if you love them!! The Dr. does not care anything about your pet only running up a tab and making money.  Took our cat here yesterday for throwing up  and was told she needed around $900 worth of work just for throwing up and to be stayed overnight. Said no thank you paid the overly priced office visit and left fast!! This morning took our cat to our regular  vet Victoria Animal Hospital in Rancho Cucamonga off of Milliken.  We paid $300 for 2 antibiotic/pain injections, other take home meds & several cans of mild digestive cat food for a week.  Our cat started feeling better immediately and was up and moving around when we got her home.  Don't get played by this doctor!!!!  He also seems to answer back to all his BAD reviews with answers that try to cover up the TRUTH!!!!!!Look for yourself!!!! Love this place! I have been taking my dogs here (since they were puppies) for 9 years! I came here first because they have great deals on shots every Wednesday & Saturday's & after that I just loved it! This is where we get everything done!  I moved away from the area and still drive here. The doctor is great! He is very thorough, very helpful and very good with the dogs! I have a dog that is very special, he recently had severe separation anxiety and chewed up a screen door, the door trim, made hole in drywall & broke my living room window! Of course I took him in and the doctor put him on medication & taught me how to deal with him. It's been a process but I did as I was told and my dog is doing great! He stopped chewing our doors, windows etc. He is happy and back to normal. We are going to start weaning him off meds soon. It seems that the doctor truly loves animals & loves helping them! Dr. Sidhu is my favorite! He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what is wrong with your pet or what treatment your pet needs. I have been to other vets & not one has been as detailed, kind and proactive. I really appreciate how he cares for my pets as well as myself by giving me steps to correct certain issues with my pet. I brought my rescue Springer (Lance) who started limping & had his ears inflamed. Dr. S right away took action & upon his recheck was a completely healthier dog. Dr. S has also done surgery on my Siamese cat about a year ago. He saved her paw that otherwise would have been amputated. His staff is friendly & the wait is reasonably short. Thank you Dr. Sidhu! Have been taken our dogs here a couple times because of them being less expensive than other vets. We noticed that every time we bring them in, the Dr tells us the extreme and the cost becomes outrageous.  Not to mention the needless dental work they did on our dog, while charging us an arm and leg. On Thursday as we brought one for a bad cough, the Dr said we needed x-rays of his chest and heart. First he said he would match the price of another vet we called, then he changed his mind, and laughed at my wife. Needless to say we walked out, and went to another trusted vet. They said no x-rays, and only some med's. Our little guy is already feeling better. We will not be returning to this place again, and recommend you look elsewhere for another reputable vet. Had to come here one time for an emergency on a Sunday. They were closed but the veterinarian said he would meet me there when I called him on his cell phone. My Yorky was attacked by a pit bull and needed multiple stitches on her face. they did a great job kept her overnight and no scars from her surgery. I took both dogs to the vet because they both needed an updated kennel cough shot so that I could board them next weekend while we are in San Diego. Raven also had an ear infection also so I figured a cortisone shot and some meds, no big deal. Well then they exam both dogs and tell me that ravens ear is so bad that she needs to put to sleep to have the ear flushed.. Honestly, I believed it cause she had been scratching at that ear for a while and I just didn't make the time to take her in.. But then they said that BOTH dogs had bad dental and they needed to be put to sleep and cleaned. I JUST had their teeth cleaned 8 months ago.. So for it to be that bad?? But of course, anything for my babies so I left them there to have the procedures done and $998 later :/ they had to remove 2 of ravens teeth and of course she came home with tons of meds So I was already bothered by having to do the procedure 2 times in one year but what got to me was the fact that when I picked them up this morning, the vet tech tells me, "oh ya I cleaned tanks teeth and it was so fast, he had like nothing on them.. His cleaning lasted like 5 minutes" so wait.. You put my dog to sleep so you could work on him for 5 minutes!?!?! I asked her "so was this procedure really that necessary??" And she kinda stumbled on her words like "oh uh ya well of course cause then his teeth could have gotten worse" well obviously they could have gotten worse but maybe I could have paid for a less invasive procedure. I trusted this vet to give me the best advice both financially and medically for my dogs and I feel as if they just tried to make money off of my trust :( the only reason they get 2 stars is because they do shot clinics for a reasonable price, but I would rather pay more for shots than go back to them. My dog got sick & would not eat, so we took him to this local vet as we did not want to drive to his usual vet in Victorville. We were told to leave him overnight for closer evaluation because he was dehydrated. So we paid $400 to leave him. The following day we picked him up, the place was not busy & I was the only customer at the time. When I asked the Vet what was wrong with him, he had no clue. He just said, hes better now. I came in 30 minutes from closing, the receptionist greeted us with such a positive attitude; as if they had just opened. February 2013I made an appointment for my rat at this place when I first got him, just to make sure he was in good health. When I first walked in, I signed in and the receptionist looked at me and said, "I don't think the doctor sees rats..." Comforting, especially since I made the appointment for a RAT. This should have probably been my first clue to hightail it. Don't get me wrong the staff was very friendly. The nurse was awesome. The doctor...he just checked his heart, made Patch (my rat) crap all over himself, and said, "Go see an eye doctor for him."  (He is missing an eye) He didn't thoroughly check him for tumors, didn't check his back, his balance, limbs, NOTHING. Oh wait, he check his teeth. -_- Waste of money and time. He doesn't seem to know much of anything about small pets. Not recommend!. Read Less

At the moment i didnt not know what was wrong with my cat. I came home from work and she was just lying on the floor not moving. I took her in to a r and the vet just had no compassion. I was crying because i felt my cat was not well. Immediately he told me the cost just to figire out what was wrong with her. He didnt even touch her. Im a recently gtaduated college student who had no money and as heartbreaking as it was asked him to put her down as i didnt want her to be in pain. He right away switched his tone (probably because he wouldnt have made as much money off of me had he done so). He convinced me that it was nothing serious and gave me a different price for a blood test, gave me some antibiotics and sent me home. The next day he calls and says she has a kidney failure. I go in again and the price was around 6k to treat her and there was still the possibility she wouldnt make it. Again i told him put her down. Any humane person would havr put her down. Trusting in him he told me again it wasnt that serious (im not a vet i trusted him). Sense i couldnt afford 6k he sold me on some more meds. On the third day my kitty began to throw up blood. I was done with this vet if you want to call him that. I didnt want to move my kitty in the condition she was in so i called a home vet. I explained the situation and he came to my house on his lunch. The moment he saw her he told me she should have been put down from the start. He put her down and as she took her last breath i knew she was good and it jusg broke my heart that i trusted in thso vet and didnt put her to sleep sooner and avoided her all the pain she had to endure. I do not recommend this place at all as they are only after your money and not the well being of our beloved pets, unless you have the money of course. I hope this helps in anyones decision to find a vet who is more concerned about your pets and not money. Read Less

I came here this morning because of the positive  reviews I read here. My cat was feverish and incredibly lethargic. So after speaking to the very sweet secretary and given a very reasonable office visit price, we made the trek down. Like I said the staff there is incredibly nice and polite. HOWEVER the doctor did a quick check on my cat and proceeded to give us an estimate on what needed to be done. Apparently a catheter was needed, and pills Now I'm not a doctor but $700 seemed a little unreasonable to treat a probable infection my cat had which led to pain and a fever.  I don't know if it was because my boyfriend and I were a young couple who seemed willing to do anything to get our cat help but I honestly felt cheated. I went to another hospital and they charged me $215 for 3 injections including antibiotics. Id hope that I'm wrong and I'm just being overly judgmental but $700 is excessive. Read Less

Dr Sidhu was so nice and professional. I called on Sunday it happened to be Mother's Day and did not get an answer ... I reviewed a call about an hour later from the dr himself, asking if I called, he made an appt right on the spot. I had found a beagle on the street and wanted to get him checked out because we were interested in keeping him. Long story short, the dog had an owner. The dr was nice enough to scan the beagle for a microchip, free of charge. He called me a few days later to see how the dog was and genuinely was concerned. I am not trying to do anything bad to this vet, i just want to stop people from taking their animals to this cruel guy. This will tell you enough, he left my dog paralyzed and didnt even care. I went and posted a bad review on yelp and he keeps deleting the bad reviews so that people think he is good. If you on yelp look for his filtered reviews and you will see how he takes them off. "In a nutshell: THANK YOU DR SIDHU AND STAFF FOR SAVING OUR BABY'S LIFE!!! In many words: Lily, our 7 months old Border Collie pup was having diarrhea and was vomiting for a good 36 hours. When her diarrhea turned bloody, we immediately rushed her to the A R Animal Hospital, they took her vitals, it turned out, she also had an extremely high fever. Little later Dr Sidhu came in and examined her as well, and put her on IV fluids and antibiotics right away. Since Lily was current on all her shots, the Dr highly doubted, it could be Parvo, but he started to treat her as it was. On the 2nd day, she was hospitalized they did a Parvo test on her, and it came back as STRONG positive, which means it was an aggressive infection, like she has never been vaccinated! We were stunned, but kind of relieved - the actual diagnosis didn't take too long - and Lily's stayed hospitalized for 5 more days, longer, than expected, but like I said, the infection was a particularly nasty one. On the 6th day she was offered food, and water, she kept it down, as well as on the 7th, when we could finally take her home, with a strict diet for a few days, slowly transitioning her back to her own food. She continued to have mild diarrhea for an additional 10 days, but now she's back to her old chippy self, and gained back all the weight, she's lost (more, than half her whole body weight!). Again, thank you Dr Sidhu and staff for the best Christmas present, we could ever get, our baby's life! And thank God for finding this hospital - it was pure luck, as we just moved recently, and this was the closest animal hospital to our house. Dr Sidhu is the best in every aspect, he gives you options on what could be done, very patient, takes time to explain EVERYTHING, and instead of getting annoyed by all the questions, he answers them one by one! I used this vet for an in home service... It was difficult to find one that would come to my home. I had a dog for over fifteen years, and it was her time... I did not want to traumatize her by forcing her in a car and taking her somewhere strange. So I knew I was going to pay a little more for this in home service. Dr Sidhu was very patient with me... He gave me a few options to consider, which I pondered and flipped flopped between, all while he kept waiting patiently... At the end he was very compassionate. I'm not sure how the rest of there services are... But if you need them for anything like this... I think they are well worth it. Read Less
