This is my first puppy & we had a little scare after a few days of getting him. It was 5:30pm & the first place I called couldn't see us & was really apathetic. I called Inland Animal Hospital & they were friendly & able to get him seen quickly, which worked out b/c it happens to be only a few blocks from our house. The staff was really nice & the vet was patient with me (as a first time "mom"); he explained everything really well. I felt like I was taken care of & not dismissed. We've had a few visits since (vaccines, etc) & every time, everyone has been friendly & professional & they do a follow-up call after every visit. Dr. Kim and staff have been such a blessing to our dog hazel she's had 2 TPLO surgeries in 6 months . They care and love her so much. The ladies that work there Alma , Katelyn, and Alexa are amazing, always making you feel so welcoming and reassuring you your pet will be in the best hands. I love how they call you the next day just to check up to see how your pet is doing and if you have any more questions or concerns to let them know. I initially took my dog to Inland Animals Hospital for an ear ache. The staff was very nice and quick to help. My dog is approximately 95lbs and is not a fan of going to the vet. The girls checking him in were patient with me trying to get him to cooperate. Once we were with the vet, he was thorough with his inspection of my dogs ears and took time to explain what was going on and how to treat them. It was this first visit that made me a dedicated customer. Anytime I go back with my dog, Dr. Kim always address the reason I'm there and also follows up on previous issues (i.e. He checks my dogs ears every time I visit). When my dog began developing a tumor on his elbow, Dr. Kim was very good about discussing my options, but not being pushy on what I should do. After a few visits and the tumor growing to almost softball size, I decided it was time to have it removed. The surgery went smoothly and Dr. Kim even took extra time to be meticulous and salvage as much muscle as possible. After the surgery he answered all of my questions and let me know what to expect from the wound and after care procedures. It's been 3 days since the surgery and my dog is walking with a mild limp (as to be expected) but has the appropriate pain medication so is not in a lot of pain! The wound looks clean with no sign of infection and the recovery has been quicker than expected. I'm extremely grateful that the staff at Inland Animal Hospital took such amazing care of my dog. The doctor is very thorough with the owners of the pet, also does not walk away without asking if you totally understand or have any other questions. The work they performed on our dog was excellent. I have a 9 year old beagle that was over weight the old vet I was taking her to did nothing. all he did is sold me some diet dog food which didn't work. I took her to dr. Kim and that same day he figured out what was wrong with her she had a thyroid problem put her on medication and she lost the weight within 3 months. now she's running around like a puppy again. I would recommend dr. Kim to all my friends and family he is a great vet. Read Less

While this facility is not a mega practice (like the VCA-types), this is actually the good news from my perspective. The staff is kind, efficient and professional which is a direct reflection of Dr. Kim. I brought my elderly Pomeranian here based upon a recommendation from a friend. Typically I rely heavily on Yelp reviews to guide my choices but in this case I did not and I'm glad I gave this doctor and his staff a chance. But if you want to use a nameless faceless mega practice, this facility is not for you. Read Less

This is the first time I've ever taken my dog to the vet. Main reason why I brought my dog in was because he was having a terrible hoarse sounding cough. I came in on a Friday morning via appointment at 10am. I was expecting their to be a crowd since it was Friday and the place is not only a clinical, but also an animal hospital. I was attended to promptly with a few paperwork and seen very quickly by Dr. Kim. Both him and the staff were very nice. Dr. Kim mentioned that my dog had 1 of 3 things, cancer/tumor of the lung, heart disease, or some type of bronchitis. He recommended an X-Ray to see what was going on, blood draw, and some medications based on the results. I went ahead with the X-Ray (it was pricey, as expected since I don't have dog insurance). Fortunately, the x-ray was negative. I was really grateful to find out that it was just that and the doc said it's due to old age; however, narrowing of the trachea is uncommon and there is no treatment for it. Dr. Kim just prescribed a mild sedative and cough syrup to give to my dog whenever he has a severe case of coughing (which happens when he's super excited).My first experience to the vet was awesome and positive. My only slight concern was how Dr. Kim was kind of pushing for more tests despite a good prognosis. Although he pointed out that the trachea was causing the coughing issue, Dr. Kim was persistent in me going for lab work (which would be an extra $200) to find out the "true cause" and he was mentioning that maybe my dog had some heart disease. I work in the medical field so I kind of know what's needed and not. So for those of you that aren't fond of any medical work, just because a doctor recommends something, doesn't mean you will actually need it (in this case, for your pet). 100% one of the best places I've ever been to! I had to bring my cat in for an exam because I thought something was wrong with her mouth and she needed some teeth extracted and Dr. Kim was amazing! He was very thorough, compassionate, and within the first minute of meeting him I just knew that I could trust him with my kitty. She is like my baby so that does not come easy! The staff is extremely friendly and I truly felt that they cared. I also really appreciated getting follow-up calls from them asking how my cat was doing and making sure that I was okay as well. It has been 3 days since her procedure and it's like I have my old cat back! She is fully recovering! 1st and foremost praise goes to God, then I give credit to these amazing people!!!  :) Read Less

Dr. Kim and all his staff are all wonderful and very compassionate. They immediately cared for my ran over puppy when other places gave me such a hard time to even get him checked up. My dog is doing so much better than he was prior to a couple weeks ago and his expenses were cheaper than they would have been else where. The cost of his 4 vaccines was also very low priced. The vet was also kind enough to let my fur baby stay overnight without charging me any sort of crazy fee. Honestly, if you want a place to care for your pets like if they are their own, come here!! The entire staff at Inland Valley Animal hospital is caring and compassionate.  In emergency situations the get you in quick.   My chihuahua's  ate poison and Dr. Kim and Kaitlin fixed them up quick and we were anle to go home in a couple hours.  They called the next day to make sure they were doing fine.On another occassion we had to put to sleep our dog of 11 years.  Everyone was compassionate, and let us take our time, and allowed the whole family in.  They took great care of our dogs remains and arranged for cremation and keepsakes.  The called to follow up and even sent a sympathy card signed by the entire staff, which was very touching.Everytime we visit the facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and they always call the next day.I drive all the way from Chino Hills passing many Vets just to go here, because of the great service and care they provide my little ones! I cannot express how grateful I am to Dr Kim and his staff. They are the greatest, kindest, veterinary office I've ever dealt with. From cats with urinary tract blockages, to our dog with pancreatitis, or our other dog diagnosed with skin cancer, we've gone through so many pet emergencies, surgeries, etc. They have been the greatest; always kind, always helpful. Seriously, if you are looking for a wonderful Veterinarian and caring, compassionate staff, this is where you need to bring your furry family.  I moved to California from Las Vegas in 2012 and was really worried about finding somebody who I could trust as much as my long time family Vet back home.  This is where I landed and I sure am glad I found them!They have seen all of my own animals, plus a Beagle I rescued out of the middle of the road that was almost hit by a car.  They scanned her for a chip and gave me the chip company info and chip number plus Dr. Kim checked her out because she was limping pretty bad and I was worried that maybe she had already been hit or hurt somehow.  She was found to be ok, although she had a pretty decent case of arthritis in her front left elbow.  =(  Thank you Dr. Kim for being so caring. Dr. Kim and staff are awesome! I brought my dog in on Monday, because his left eye looked infected, and he was lethargic and not eating or drinking. It turns out his teeth were badly infected, and the infection spread up into the eye. After 12 pulled teeth, a dose of pain medicine, and a good night of rest, he was back his old self! I took my dog to the vet hospital on Sunday, and they didn't do much but charge me a small fortune. I'm so thankful for Inland Animal Hospital! Read Less

Inland Animal Hospital is the best! My 14 year-old Maltese, Poppi, has been coming here for years, and has received the best and affordable care. The staff are so kind and considerate, and the vet is empathetic and knowledgeable. In January 2015, I had a lot of anxiety when my dog needed surgery, but the Dr. Kim let me know all of the risks involved and took the time to talk me through the surgery and put me at ease. A year and three months later, Poppi's still wagging her tail as happy as can be. Also, I recently had a time-sensitive issue with my dog's medication, and Katelyn, their Receptionist/Vet Assistant (bless her patient heart) helped me take care of everything. The folks at Inland Animal Hospital really go the extra mile to help me care for my beloved pet, and I hope that they know how valuable they are to their furry patients and their loving owners! After visiting a few times, I feel that I can provide a fair assessment for this veterinarian.  Location:  Off the 60, please park in the 7-11 lot.  Facility:  Small but clean, not a lot of fancy stuff or lavish design.Treatment:  Extremely honest and reasonable.  I felt the vet takes his time and discusses a variety of options.  Never felt like he was pushing products or over treating, but always fair.  The staff are very nice people and after every visit, I get a follow up phone call which is a nice personal touch.  Some people prefer the pomp-and-circumstance, but for me, I just want a veterinarian who will get it done.If you are looking for a vet who provides no-nonsense treatment and an honest approach, give this place a call. So far so good... I took Bentley in (bedlington terrier) for an ear infection. Cost me $75. That good? Dr saw n checked him out. Nice guy. They took great care of our cat when we suspected she had developed pyometra and she ended up needing an emergency ovariohysterectomy. They saw her that morning and we were able to take her home that evening. One of the technicians even gave us her cell phone number and told us we could call anytime day or night if we had any concerns. They're also reasonably priced and friendly.
