My first visit to this business was to euthanize my grandmother's cat. We went on a Saturday morning and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there were only 2 other clients inside.
Staff was empathetic and discreet.
The wait was minimal and the veterinarian who helped us was sweet, compassionate, kind, gentle and thorough. I was very impressed.
Excellent all around!!

While I believe that the care my pet received was competent and compassionate, this clinic has one practice that is a deal-breaker for me. Every time I brought my pet back for a re-check, they simply took her to the back and left me in the waiting room. I saw them doing the same thing with other clients as well. I have switched vets because of this.

After VCA failed to give our family dog his needed shots we asked for (the simple ones required to board him for the weekend) we disputed the additional office visit charge required for the needed shots that were missed the first time. Our credit is now being ruined as VCA turned it into collections for disputing an office visit cost. Oh yeah... this is after we spent (and payed) them over $3,000 in other bills for our dogs in the prior 2 years they were our dogs vet. Please, save your money and your credit and go somewhere else except VCA.

I brought my dog here and got his shots and checkup. After that, he experienced some itching symptoms that he'd never had before. I called and talked to Jenny and she said to bring him in to make sure...
I brought my dog here and got his shots and checkup. After that, he experienced some itching symptoms that he'd never had before. I called and talked to Jenny and she said to bring him in to make sure it wasn't a reaction from the shots. They charged us $60 bucks to say it was just a rash. When I asked them why I was being charged for a visit that they told me to come in to make sure they didn't HURT my dog....she said that she ""I must have misunderstood her when she said THEY needed to make sure my dog was okay:"" She bascially said that they take no responsibility for their work and if something goes wrong...oh well...it's not their dog. Pay up! RUDE, Expensive and Irresponsible. DON""T GO HERE!!! Go to the Granite Bay Vet Clinic on the corner of Auburn Folsom Rd and Douglas (in Raleys parking lot).

I'm sorry for the other 2 for not realizing pets can be expensive. Cost us $2000 to have my dogs knee fixed but now she has grown up to be a wonderful puppy.

My first visit to this business was to euthanize my grandmother's cat. We went on a Saturday morning and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there were only 2 other clients inside.
Staff was empathetic and discreet.
The wait was minimal and the veterinarian who helped us was sweet, compassionate, kind, gentle and thorough. I was very impressed.
