We have been taking our dogs here for 10 years now and Dr Feingold has been so great with each dog! He is so sweet to each of our dogs they love him! He is so caring and always knows 100% what is wrong with them! If you want your pet treated by someone who last went to med school in the 60's then this is the place for you.  With the misogynist attitude to match you are guaranteed condescension, dismissal an downright rudeness delivered with smug superiority.  I didn't believe it at first until I had my own personal experience with this doctor.  I would not recommend taking pets to him and I certainly will not be dealing with him again.  You may want to consider that when you are that repugnant people will tell all of their friends on top of going somewhere else where they will tell all of their new friends. Dr Jan is a man who has dedicated his life to helping animals. He has an incredible knowledge base of everything as he does surgery as well general care. We brought Lucca in for an ear infection and Dr Jan took a lot of time making sure he understood all the details. Lucca is all better! Read Less

Dr. Feingold is a great veterinarian.  He takes the time to explain options, procedures and also does follow up calls himself.  He has helped us out with our cats food allergy.  He was losing his hair.  Also, we have seen him for our #2 cat for a UTI...totally fixed that.  We have also gotten our kitten spayed here.  He does one a day.  Yes, it's more than the Spay and Neuter place but it is worth it.  Your animal will be comfortable and well taken care of.  His staff is personable and always remember us when we are there. I made a phone call to ask some questions and he was extremely rude and condescending. I made it a point to be clear as to what I was doing and why I needed to ask certain questions and he didn't even want to hear it. He continued to cut me off as if I didn't even explain so I hung up. I have been taking my little toy Yorkie to Dr Feingold since I moved into this area over a year ago now. My husband was taking our 7 yr old boxer to another vet in the area.  Our boxer has since passed away :( We now take our 4mo old boxer to this Vet because this Dr is very detailed. He checks everything an explains everything to you making sure you understand. You can tell he really cares about our furry children because we always get follow up calls to see how they are doing. I believe my other boxer would still be alive if I had brought her here. I will never take that chance again. Read Less

Dr. Feingold is a charlatan. We spent over $600 trying to figure out what was wrong with our dog and he still could not tell us. I went to another veterinary office and they were able to help us with our dog. Our dog was about to die. He overcharges for things and makes us pay for things that we don't want like fecal samples each time! Also do not get pet vaccinations through him. I would give him zero stars of possible. Whatever he did to get his license, he doesn't bring to his practice. He and his staff are incompetent to the extent of killing my cat (and who knows how many others), they treat clients like children, are condescending and have the nerve to be rude if you ask questions. The only reason I stayed with him for some time was because he was so evasive about details. How did he kill my cat you ask, and how do I know? My cat suffered from crystal blockage which Feingold had been treating him for. He unblocked him, sent him home, and my cat went completely septic overnight. When I called him the next day his response was "it's my day off... I'll only see him to euthanize him". After I sped my cat to VMSG, it was there where the finest doctors on the west coast were alarmed at his condition and insisted he be euthanized immediately. A necropsy revealed that Feingold had tore open his urethra and his bladder contents had spilled into his abdominal cavity. His last 24 hours of life were as painful as it gets. It's rare when doctors of any kind step up and tell the truth like that, so when they do you best listen, and I what I heard in their voice was disgust at how this poor animal was mishandled and died. They left open the possibility it was an innocent accident, but knowing Feingold I had no choice but to confront him about it. He never owned up to his "mistake" or apologize, NOR did he refund the $300+ he STOLE from me for his hasty, bumbling attempt to treat my cat and failure to follow up on him responsibly.
