Also said I need an exam because even though I haven't been there for years we need to do.one. Ok it was too g to be 49.99. Plus injection. Nut everyone charged different for the same injection so I can't quote you. Oh yes and also because you are new we are booking 6 weeks and latter. Wow i can't wait that long my dog is on bad shape. Sorry that's policy for new clients

I have been bringing my pets to this clinic for decades... My animals have received top notch care in the hands of all the staff and practitioners. I admire and respect their approach to medicine. They don't rush into anything unnecessarily while, at the same time, ensuring the best care. I never feel rushed when I am in the clinic - the doctors take their time and are very thorough. If they don't have an answer, they find it or they refer you to someone who can help. Pricing is fair and reasonable. They are a busy clinic but always make time for drop-ins - I have never waited more than a few minutes to be seen with an appointment. Highly recommend Montecito Clinic - couldn't be happier in their care!

Took my Frankie, a llhasa apso, to the clinic yesterday. Been there quite a few times, but normally for check-ups for my two dogs. Yesterday was different. Felt a lump on Frankie's side which scared me and my husband to death. We had a retriever once, the love of our lives, who died of cancer. The lump I felt on Frankie brought back memories we couldn't forget.Dr. March was like an angel who tended to Frankie and she immediately put me at ease by saying it's probably just a fatty deposit. She took samples and called me that afternoon to say it was benign, but we should keep an eye whether the lump is growing. How many doctors nowadays give phone calls? I can't thank Dr. March enough for the peace of mind she'd given us. People say angels come in many forms. Well, Dr. March is certainly one of them.If I may make a suggestion, the clinic should put a bigger sign which can be seen from the road. The building's paint is old and drab. It's hard to see.

I've only been once, but such a great first impression. Pricing was super reasonable. Staff was friendly. They did not in anyway try to push anything on me to make more money. It was thorough and yet quick and easy. They had a cat entrance and a dog entrance. Very little wait. Oh and bonus, they have large Legos in the waiting room that my two year old enjoyed.

We moved from Antioch to Martinez 2 years ago. We had been going back to our vet in Antioch, since it wasn't too far. After talking to several people about vet's in the area, Montecito Animal Clinic kept coming up. We were told it takes a long time to get in if you are a new customer. We scheduled a routine check up for our Lab. We got the appointment we needed. Now when we call we get appointments right away. We got a second dog and she now goes there too. Very reasonable pricing and the vets really care about your pets. Never feel rushed and they always answer your questions. They only do what is necessary, nothing more. Highly recommend them.

Just switched our doggies care to Dr. Pieper at Montecito vet clinic and what a difference it's made in Foxey's life - He's a 13 y/o Border Collie who had to have a surgical procedure 11 years ago due to Dysplasia from a farm accident and his leg has been bothering him more as he aged. Dr. Pieper suggested adding Gabapentine to his pain meds and he's like a new young pupper again! They also did dental cleaning for both Foxey and Murphy (Corgi) and much lower cost than our previous vet (who left town without notifying any of her clients)

I highly recommend this clinic!Pros: They honor your appointment time so you and your pet may get on with your day. Extremely affordable compared to other local clinics. All staff are friendly and courteous, they care! You get to go in the room with your pet vs. waiting in the lobby like other clinics. My pet is hard to handle and they do a great job with her.Cons:Sometimes it may be hard to be seen last minute but I usually have good luck.

I have been to two vets in the area and Montecito is my third - I'm hoping my last. They are clean, reasonably priced & so far we have had no issues getting an appt. The gals at the front desk are polite & have greeted us upon arrival, which seems to be an issue at vet clinics. So we love that they are friendly & helpful.We really, really like Dr. March. She was thorough, kind & competent. It impressed me that she cut the dogs' toenails herself, too! We like Montecito & hope to continue to be able to take our doggies to see them.

We moved from Antioch to Martinez 2 years ago. We had been going back to our vet in Antioch, since it wasn't too far. After talking to several people about vet's in the area, Montecito Animal Clinic kept coming up. We were told it takes a long time to get in if you are a new customer. We scheduled a routine check up for our Lab. We got the appointment we needed. Now when we call we get appointments right away. We got a second dog and she now goes there too. Very reasonable pricing and the vets really care about your pets. Never feel rushed and they always answer your questions. They only do what is necessary, nothing more. Highly recommend them.

Just switched our doggies care to Dr. Pieper at Montecito vet clinic and what a difference it's made in Foxey's life - He's a 13 y/o Border Collie who had to have a surgical procedure 11 years ago due to Dysplasia from a farm accident and his leg has been bothering him more as he aged. Dr. Pieper suggested adding Gabapentine to his pain meds and he's like a new young pupper again! They also did dental cleaning for both Foxey and Murphy (Corgi) and much lower cost than our previous vet (who left town without notifying any of her clients)

I highly recommend this clinic!Pros: They honor your appointment time so you and your pet may get on with your day. Extremely affordable compared to other local clinics. All staff are friendly and courteous, they care! You get to go in the room with your pet vs. waiting in the lobby like other clinics. My pet is hard to handle and they do a great job with her.Cons:Sometimes it may be hard to be seen last minute but I usually have good luck.

I have been to two vets in the area and Montecito is my third - I'm hoping my last. They are clean, reasonably priced & so far we have had no issues getting an appt. The gals at the front desk are polite & have greeted us upon arrival, which seems to be an issue at vet clinics. So we love that they are friendly & helpful.We really, really like Dr. March. She was thorough, kind & competent. It impressed me that she cut the dogs' toenails herself, too! We like Montecito & hope to continue to be able to take our doggies to see them.
