It is worrisome to bring in a sick pet, but the front desk lady was calm and polite. Filled out a form and waited patiently with my number. Then went to a room, waited a little more. The Doctor arrived giving my cat a thorough exam. Asked questions, received great answers and various options. Happy, definitely coming back. My cat had blood in his urine, they gave me antibiotics and I am relieved to say he is doing way better and his urine is getting back to normal. I really like that they accept carecredit. I went for the first time for a foster kitten. I was seen almost immediately as a walk in. I wasn't too happy with the bed side manner, but they gave me answers & options. I contemplated making them my main place for all my pets because they have an exotics vet, but I decided not to, even though it is cheap. I just came back from that place very bad service brought my cat cause he's eating very little and looks tired. Anyway they had me fill a form and then put me in a room for 45 minutes when I ask the people who work there they said they had dogs in surgery understandable. They could have told me sooner that it would be a couple hours can't wait that long my brother is home alone, and he's disabled from the neck down well he has very little arm moment he suffers from ABM disorder he can't be alone for to long just a waste of my time. They should have said something sooner very unprofessional of them like my time is not valuable they also seem like they don't care unless you're spending a lot of money wouldn't' recommend it. We have been going here for 5 years with all of our pets. Just last week we had to make the heart breaking decision to put our loyally dog down due to Lymphoma and kid st failure. Wish I could give a zero star rating. It's been awhile since I've been to this vet, but I will never go back again. My husband and I adopted a puppy from the pound, and the following day our puppy wasn't acting like puppy- he wouldn't eat, drink or play. So we brought him into the vet and they tested him for parvo, and he had it. I got emotional and started crying because I heard that this is a death sentence for animals (yes, I only knew this puppy for 24 hours), the two techs chuckled and told my husband and I to bring him back to the pound and get another- as if this puppy was disposable. Why are these techs working there is they don't have any compassion for animals? These are NOT the people you want taking care of your animals. The lack of compassion is baffling. The actual vet was a little better- not much. Anyways- we did the at home parvo treatment and our little pup made it and is happy and healthy now. But I will NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. I honestly wish I read some of this reviews before visiting this place.  I am more bothered now after seeing some of these images. All around this place has dropped the ball in every interaction I have had with them.  After over a month and a half I'm still trying to get my dog to heal from being fixed. A stitch blew up and got infected and caused a hot spot on top of it. The vet immediately just told me it is just from him licking which is impossible because I seriously have had him living in his cone.  I was hesitant at first and after all the frustration I wish I had listen to my gut and gone some where else.  These people can't even communicate properly and are completely unorganized in my opinion. As much as it sucks cause I already paid for his neutering and they should be on top of getting my little dude healed correctly. I'd rather pay another vet all my money if it means my dog will actually be cared for properly. Cheap is nice but I definitely got what I paid for. I Don't Understand why there's so many bad reviews, I must say I'm very surprised to see. The times I took my Pug Kochi he was always treated with the best care, The staff were always helpful & friendly. Unfortunately I had to put my baby to sleep today 5/30/17 I must say I couldn't have done it without their help. The doctor was very rude. When he was going to get my puppy to put a splint on her leg, he was going to take her by the neck. I was so mad. If I could give this place zero stars I would.  Need to get an annual check up on my farm and tried calling this place to come out to my facility several times.  Was supposed to get a call from the manager and she never called.  When I was finally able to get a hold of someone, I was left on hold for 15 minutes, and was greeted by a very unprofessional Manager.   She kept having conversations with side people while talking to me; and was not paying attention to what I needed exactly;  she was also not the friendliest person I've encountered . This place is the worst! The amount of puppies that they have killed due to overdosing on shots is ridiculous. Also a friend of mine took her puppy in there to get ticks removed and they told her that they had to sedate the dog in order to shave so they can remove the ticks. When she picked the puppy up the dog's ear had been cut and the vet said it was because the dog was moving too much. So they charged her for the stitches a cone and everything else still. This place is horrible. I sat there for an hour without being seen i knew and told them my Dog was really sick. In that hour i sat there I saw a customer come in with 2 leashes to pick up her dogs and she was told her dogs didnt have surgery yet and she was angry, i onserved the receptionist call someone to tell them there animal was ready and that person on the phone told them they already picked up there animal. I got up left went to A.V veterinary 24hr they were very nice beautiful lobby and saw me in 10 min talked to the Dr. Showed me Xrays and we couldnt save my Dog that was 10yrs old and they told me she was in Pain and dying but they were very helpful with option had compassion and they had a special room where they let me spend some time with my dog. Mission Animal Hospital it's the worst place to take your animals THEY DONT DESERVE NOT EVEN ONE STAR!!! if you love your pets please be careful and go somewhere else. Unfortunately I took dog because he had a "Cherry Eye" something really common in dogs, something that can be fix really quit but went we took him their they told us he needed a bunch of medications and the medications never worked they made mad dogs eye worst for a whole month they didn't know what diagnostic to give us, all they wanted was money after 1 month and 2 weeks they told he needed surgery, we didn't let them do it and they still continue with the surgery and they butchered the eye he didn't know what he was doing so he decided to just stop and leave he's eye like that. When we got him back after almost 1 hour waiting to get him back, my dog he look so bad they gave me my dog worst. We waisted $1,700 for nothing and they didn't want to give our money back (and they haven't) So anyway that same night we took my dog to another Vet and they told us he did the surgery so bad they couldn't saved my dogs eye. The Dr. was so mad and sad to see what they did to our little dog for no reason. Thank God my dog it's alive and at home recovering after the new Dr. removed he's eye. I have been to this office many times over the years and I have nothing bad to say about it. But I do have a lot of good things to say. I don't understand why it has such a bad reputation and bad reviews on here. My experiences have always been good. They are reasonably priced, actually a lot lower than other area vets. And if you can't afford the procedure recommended, there are places like Actors & Others and RUFF who will contribute to the cost so that you pay little to nothing for their services. I felt like they have compassion for the patients. Sure, some of the doctors have thick foreign accents, but so do most people doctors. If your pet is staying there overnight, they will telephone you every evening at about 8pm to update you on your pet's condition. And the hours they are open are very accommodating, 7am to 11pm, 7 days a week. I am very pleased and will continue to use this clinic. Read Less

They should change their name to Mission Animal Mortuary! I have had two dogs die at this facility in the past month. My most recent dog went in for vaccination on Sunday (11/20/2016) and Monday morning was exhibiting really frightening symptoms. He was like a rag doll, he had no motor sensory control and looked like a flopping fish out of water. We took him in to see what they could do and they ended up hospitalizing him. After a couple of hours they told us he was doing much better and that he had an adverse reaction to the vaccine. They were trying to counteract the effects of their vaccine. They told us they wanted to keep him overnight to monitor him even though they close at 11pm and open at 7am. (Don't know how you can monitor a dog with no human interaction, maybe they have some super vet nurse robot. Proprietary technology from Mission Animal Mortuary LLC) They told us it was only precautionary and that they would call us in the morning to tell us when we could pick him up. We called this morning (11/22/2016) only to find out he passed away this morning. I looked at the reviews on Yelp last night and read all these horrible reviews and they are spot on, the Doctor with his license suspended Dr. Ayman continues to work there so that just goes to show what their mission is truly about. Made an appointment for my dog for neutering and cherry eyes tuck in procedure. It is on the 30th of this month but I will not be taking my dog in after reading all the reviews and researching all their complaints and pending Law suit on google. Horrible! How is this place stoll open? The person I spoke with to schedule an appointment for my dog didn't even ask what kind of a dog he is or how old.. nothing! I have an English Bulldog so of course they are high risk when it comes to surgical procedures and all they cared about was how much and when I can come in. Ridiculous! beware of this so called vet hospital!!! they charge only $15 for consultation for  a reason!!my story begins with my3 year old dog pixie .I rushed her to the this vet after finding her paralyzed from her waist down they did x-rays wich I was charged $125. I  was then given the news that her back was broken ,surgery was $5,000 but I didn't have the resources.The surgery was put off however the vet said she would live a normal life with a wheelchair .After accepting the fact that there wasn't anything else that could be done I was sent home with pixie .They assured me that pixie seemed stable and had no pain!wrong!!! I watched my pixie suffer for 2days I could clearly tell she was in pain and she was dragging herself around wich lead to an infection! my husband took her back upon arrival the employees @ the front desk didn't even analyzed his presence until the hispanic employee named carmen spoke to him in spanish, when my husband nationality is Brazilian  born in California and speaks Portuguese and especially  English fluently unlike the employees themselfs luckily my husband also speaks spanish well! Therefore if you look hispanic they will make you wait until one of thier employees that speak  Spanish is avaliable to assist you, there's professional ways to ask someone if they are in need of an interpreter!They should focus more on  mopping thier unsanitary floors!instead of sitting there chitchatting away. They had my husband waiting for over 30 -40 mins the same vet just lifted pixies tail and told my husband that he had spoken to me and there was nothing else to do other then Surgery that was only 50/50 chance that she would walk again! my husband was about to make the decision of euthanizeing her but they charge 170 or 200 with ashes!when in reality a shot is less then $20!  I turned to the internet and finally came across an organization after hearing my story and my cry for help this lady has been wonderful! Thanks to poinsie rescue she took pixie to a real animal hospital  in woodland hills where pixie got frist class treatment and was sent with pain and antibiotics  medication that she desperately needed!!On top of that I have to return the x-rays that I paid for and when asked why and  thier response  was for medical purposes! On the day that I went back to pick the xrays the same carmen employee had the audacity to ask how pixie was doing and if she was walking yet? Are you F*** kidding me?!!!this took place on august 25 2016 .Pixie is now placed on bed rest and on meds for pain and antibiotics and is also awaiting therapy out in l.a she will have her wheelchair within 2months  thanks to the vets in woodland hills at access specialty!. mission didnt do s*** for her they neglected her condition!all they cared about was the $125 that they charged for x-rays that they get to keep!!! this place needs to get shut down!im also aware of different cases like a dog named max its on the av times that I cane across on facebook mission was were responsible for a malpractice done on him and his owner was on a protest against this vet hospital most horrific vet in the av!!!STAY AWAY!! I have had good and bad experiences with this office as far as my animals go. I foster and the rescue i foster for prefers I take the animals here so I do. On the other hand, I prefer Pets R Us, and she has had the worst experience to the point of animals dying for no explainable reason. So I don't know. If I could give less than one star I would. I had used them once before. They quote a price and then another person will come on and say a different price. But I thought it was me so I paid it. He never touched the dog. Gave me some pills to knock her out, not enough to do the job so I had to go the next day and buy more form them. Today we need to put down a dog. My wife called and she was quoted a price of $240.00 to come to the house to put her down. So we gave them a cc and they said everything was ok. Well then another person comes on the phone to confirm all the info and says that the cc was charged $360.00 total. I said no way and to cancel everything and to refund the money on the cc. Twenty min later we get a call from the office manager saying the Doctor is going home now and he will make us a deal and do it for $285.00. I would NEVER USE THIS PLACE. This place is the absolute worst vet you could go to out here. I literally ran in with my boxer who had been bit by a rattle snake and the idiot at the front desk just looked at me and my dog like, "what?", seeing that my dogs entire face and neck was extremely blown up with swelling. The guy proceeded to tell me and my husband to just sit down and wait and continued to call people who had animals that just needed their shots!! It took me two minutes to blow up and ask what the hell was going on. My dog obviously needed attention! ONE nurse out of the many I talked to within the four days my girl was there was the only one who seemed like she cared at all for the animals. If I could give them zero stars I would. I had to take my dog to them for emergency services. They made us sign a contract in order to start the process. There was very little time to go over the contract initially. Our dog ended up not needing a lot of the services that were listed in the contract and they actually released her a day early because she was doing so well. I asked about the contract and if there was going to be money taken off because she didn't need a lot of the services. The owner came in and yelled at me in front of my daughter, she was in tears. He looked at us and said "well, your dog is alive, isn't she" He refused to give us our dog if she balance wasn't paid. I paid the balance, took my dog, and left! He was very rude and acted extremely inappropriately. I will NEVER go back and in fact have told many people not to use them.
