My cat had a bad tooth and had been unable to eat for two days. I was able to get an appointment for 930 am, that day. Turns out it was three teeth not just one. Few hours later, he was home and eating . The staff was very friendly and caring. Took my dog in for a unscheduled appointment due to pain.   It is a quaint little place, not overrun with tons of people and animals in the lobby.  We waited maybe 20 minutes to get a room maybe 15 more for the doctor.   The front office lady was very nice and caring,  the Vet was to the point and not a fear monger.  Not trying to upsale a bunch of extras,  just answered my questions,  examined the dog and got to the point.  Out of there under $200 dollars leaving with 3 medications. Dr. Rundy has the biggest heart, the most special awareness and kindness for animals, and has been flawlessly taking care of my and my parents animals for years and years! I highly recommend this vet, versus a corporate or other private vet where they act kind but are only in it for the money. The dr. was very nice, honest and not trying to get extra money out of pet owners. This clinic is a modest little building in Perris, they where reasonably priced compared to other clinics ( 35.00 office visit ). The staff was caring and honest and they where able to make us a same day appointment. I will use this vet again, hopefully we won't need to go back anytime soon but this is my new go-to place. Liz the front office person I most enjoy speaking with (although all staff is wonderful) is very nice, professional, and efficient. Dr Runde runs a lovely animal hospital. He's neutered our two cats, treated one for a cold that would never go away, and performed surgery on a tumor that afflicted our young dog. I love this animal hospital!! You can tell that the Dr really cares about his fur patients :)..the staff is very warm and welcoming, you can ask them a billion and one questions and they will be there to answer you as best they can. I really like that it's a smaller facility and only a couple staff,It feels more family oriented .They help you to understand whatever it is your concerned about. Conveniently located in historic Perris off the 74, a no-frills vet. Pleasant front office staff, clean, never had much of a wait. The vet is a little gruff but pleasant enough. I really like this vet. I have always had great experiences here. Never to long of a wait. The office staff are always very friendly. Very reasonably priced. Years and years ago when I was a struggling student one of my dogs got seriously injured and they really worked with me and he ended up making a full recovery with minimal financial burden. Than really left an impression on me and after moving back to the area almost 10 years later I've been taking all my animals here again the past few months and really couldn't be happier. Read Less

Dr Runde and his staff have been our go to Vet Hospital for the past 21 yrs; he's a caring Doctor that doesn't sugar coat the health situation of your dog or cat.  Prices are very reasonable; as a matter of fact the Doctor gives you 3 options of treatment ranging from the most expensive to the least expensive and will answer truthfully with the realities of your pets illness.  Your Pet is his and his staff's #1 concern and you will be more than happy with the service and care they provide your pet.  We live by a 40 acre alphalpha field where some idiot people dump their dogs to which we have rescued 25 of them during our 23 yrs of living here in Romoland.  Dr Runde has serviced all our rescues and they have lived happy and productful loving lives here on our 2 1/2 acre ranch. Will never go back. Doctor and staff were totally cold and unfriendly. I arrived on time for my appt but sat there for 10 mins before someone even greeted us. The office does not have a public restroom so I was told that my 5 year old would have to hold it or we would have to go down the street?? Just bizarre. Get a bathroom people! Love this vet!!!  Dr Runde and his staff are honest and really care about the animals.  It is a modest facility but their prices are fair and they won't recommended unnecessary tests or procedures.  You can usually get in the same day.  All I really am looking for is a vet that takes care of my pets and Dr Runde does this!  Give them a try ... you won't go anywhere else once you do!!! Dr. Hicks is definitely of old age but he is very friendly and honest. Unlike other veterinarian offices; he will tell you when there is nothing you can do for your pet. i brought a very ill 3 year old Boxer and he quickly examined her and gave an immediate diagnosis and prescribed antibiotics. He was straightforward with us and advised us to just take her home and give her everything she wanted because she MIGHT not make it. My dog went from bad to worse in a matter of hours but the next day she was her giddy self again. She expelled her infection through her feces and was instantly cured. I had taken my three dogs for exam and shots. The vet came in to the room and didn't even say a word. I called back to make an appointment and the person who answered was very rude ! As I got my first word out he says " Is this going to be quick because I'm on the other line ?" I was shocked. He then said "are you trying to come in or what ?" He made me feel really uncomfortable. The only good thing about this vet was that they referred me to an actually good veterinarian in Murrietta after Dr. Runde couldn't tell me what was wrong with my cat. He is not professional, unintelligible, and bad at communication. His office isn't clean, the staff is rude, and nothing is personalized to make you and your pet feel like you matter as a patient. Perris Animal Hospital is not fancy.  They are pretty basic, and their prices reflect that, which is what keeps me coming back, year after year.  I've been a customer for about 18 years!  I used to live 8 miles away, and was there often.  Now that I live further away, and have fewer animals, I don't go all that often, but they are still my vet of choice.A couple weeks ago my older dog had swelling below his eye, on his muzzle.  I thought he had a foxtail up his nose, and was very worried about him.  As soon as Dr. Runde saw him he knew it was more likely an abscessed tooth.  Sure enough, that's what it was.  Dr. Runde also accommodated my work schedule by doing the surgery on a Saturday, rather than during the week, which he prefers.I'm pretty sure it would have cost me 50% if not 100% more had I gone to most any other vet, and my dog did great!  Thank you Dr. Runde and Perris Animal Hospital.  I continue to be a long time loyal customer.
