As, for the veterinarians' knowledge and interactions with their patients and owners... I have nothing to complain about. As for a front office staff member named Chelsea (if I remember correctly), she gives the Vet office itself a bad name, she is completely unprofessional and does to have the personal skills needed to interact with the customers. They were unable to see my very sick rabbit who is and established patients and I called EVERYWHERE and couldn't find anyone to see him... later that day he died in my arms writhing in pain. I tried calling the vet office back to try to understand why they couldn't at least give him pain meds so he would die peacefully and she began to become argumentative with me, wouldn't listen, and hung up. I thought it was an accident so I called back and she said it was no accident.
I tried to explain to her that she could have at least told me she was hanging up, so she said goodbye and hung up again. The next day I tried to contact her again to maybe work things out and explain from a grieving pet owner's perspective what she could have done differently. Instead of listening she argued again, said the vet would NEVER see my pets again, and hung up. I will be trying to reach out to her supervisor or even the vet to inform them of her actions. It is not her business that she is giving abad name. Her actions came across as unprofessional, argumentative and worst of all unsympathetic. I hope she learns how to interact with grieving pet owners in a healthier way.

I have several rescues and they've treated them all for several years I love the staff they're very sensitive when it comes to putting your pets to sleep and handle them respectfully 4 of my cats are in they're 20's I really appreciate that Vets are very good at diagnosing problems. Much love for them

Excellent, affordable pet care. Dr Karlton is gentle and attentive with my chihuahua and thoroughly answers all my questions. Treatment plans are reasonable and I never feel pressured into unnecessary procedures. The well-being of my pet is clearly the priority at Brander.

I have been so pleased with every visit I've had at Bradner. Everyone I've interacted with is kind and highly skilled. It is beyond worth the 30+ minute drive I take to get there. 100% would recommend.
When I got rabbits, I started taking them to Dr. Pfann. We hadn't transitioned our dogs, but when one of them became very ill and his previous vet was unable to assist us, the staff at Bradner worked with me to get my dog in as soon as possible. Throughout his treatment they have been amazing. Dr. Pfann explains things clearly and has helped guide us through decisions about our dog's care without being pressuring. He's been compassionate and professional. We appreciate Bradner so very much!

My family has been taking our cats and dogs to Brandner's for over 2 decades, and every single time, we have felt that our pets have been taken care of with highest level of care! Most recently, my 19-year-old cat was in kidney failure and at the end of her life. The staff at Brandner's could not have been more helpful and supportive! Dr. Pfann is THE vet to see at the office...he has taken care of every single one of our pets, and he was especially great with my cat. He advocated for trying everything we could for her...from diet changes, to medications, to me administering fluids to her at home on a regular basis. I could not be more thankful to Dr. Pfann and the staff for doing everything they could to help me through this difficult process.As for my other pets, they are always treated kindly and examined thoroughly. I am a client for life with Brandner's, and if you are looking for a vet for your pets..you really can't go wrong here!

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with their performance!!!!!! They claim to be a pet hospital that is supposed to help and assist not only the "patients" but the "owners" as well!! They seem to be more interested in keeping a good allegiance with FIT N FURRY PET RESORT then answering any questions and concerns that I have about my animal that was treated there while under the care of FIT N FURRY!!!!I spoke with "practicing manager" AMANDA and she advised that DR. JACKIE and herself could NOT answer ANY questions that I have regarding my animaL which is outrageous and illegal!!!I would advise anyone who is currently taking their animal here to rethink, because if they're doing this to me you can only imagine what they're doing to their patients!!!!!!!!! I have attached pictures below of my dogs neck!

Since Dr. Santero retired, it all seems to be about the business end of things. I told the female vet. what Dr. Santero had prescribed for for my dog's chronic ear problem. She refused to prescribe that same medicine, but was happy to charge $125 (+ the office visit) to examine his ear under anesthesia. Then she prescribed another medicine (not the one that had worked in the past. It didn't work. She stiffened up when I brought him back and told her what she did was ineffective. She wanted to put him out again! I said no so I had to sign a release, etc. Not going here again.

We have been going to Brandner since we moved to Petaluma in 2001. Drs Pfann and Santero have taken such great care of our pets over the years. Dr Pfann even returned our call on Christmas Day when our cat was ill. Once we took our kitty to an emergency hospital and it was so stark and cold we couldn't wait to get out of there and go to Brandner. The staff is helpful and caring. They will be our vet clinic forever.

Brought our dog in because of swollen and bloodshot eyes. Without even actually examining his eyes, the vet diagnosed it as either allergies or kennel cough. Within a couple days our dog could barely see anything. Took him to another clinic for a second opinion and he was diagnosed with Rocky Mountain spotted fever, which can be deadly if not treated quickly. Shame on me for excepting the bogus diagnosis when I knew it was odd to be able to diagnose the cause of his eye problems without actually examining his eyes. But that is what I trust veterinarians for. To be able to identify and provide assistance to my pets since obviously I am not a veterinarian. I will not be trusting my pets health to Brandner any longer.

Was the best place for pets until Dr. Santero retired. He was amazing. Now that Dr.Santero is retired Dr. Pfhan and the other newbies just care about money. After 28 years you would think it would have been hard to leave, but after miss diagnosis, bad medicine and no return phone calls when one of our pets was sick. We didnt look back. Office visits are outrageous. Dr.Santero gave discounts if we brought 2-3 pets at once. The new Dr's frown upon bringing more than one at a time and I firmly believe because they want to charge the $65.00 office visit for each pet. After we basically begged to bring them in together we still got charged the $65.00 x three dogs plus shots and meds. It was over $500.00 for that visit.The next day our dog was in the e.r. vet because the Dr. Had squeezed a "cyct" so much that it burst and got infected on the inside costing us over $2000.00 and they never called or checked in when they got the report from the emergency care or after I called. Very uncaring unemotional and all about the money! So sad!

I highly recommend Dr. Santero and Dr. Pfann. They are both exceptionally caring and I trust them both with my dog implicitly and that is saying a lot. I only want the very best for him. The receptionists are also very warm with Johnny and he actually likes going there.

Since Dr. Santero retired, it all seems to be about the business end of things. I told the female vet. what Dr. Santero had prescribed for for my dog's chronic ear problem. We have been going to Brandner since we moved to Petaluma in 2001. Drs Pfann and Santero have taken such great care of our pets over the years. Dr Pfann even returned our call on Christmas Day when our cat was ill. Once we took our kitty to an emergency hospital and it was so stark and cold we couldn't wait to get out of there and go to Brandner. The staff is helpful and caring.
