We were able to bring home and were so happy to have time with her before she passed on. They care about there animals and Dr. Robinson is very patient and explained the process thoroughly. Amy and her staff also are great in providing top notch service. We hope to bring our new dogs in thru them when posible.

Dr. Robinson is great, you can tell he really cares about the animals. He spends time explaining everything and never recommends things you don't need. If you have to get your pet in sooner then available appointments they are always very good about squeezing you in as soon as they can. He is so popular and he gives all his patience alot of time so the con is sometimes the wait time can be very long but he is really worth the wait, we have gotten the best care for our dogs.

We have moved into the area the past two months and we had to bring our eight year old Blue Nose Pit mix to her new Vetinarian. Doctor Robinson and his staff really do care for their patients and my dog Millie had to have a heart-worm test as well as have her nails clipped and Dr. Robinson made it look so easy. My only complaint is that it can be very crowded with the pet owners and their pets coming in and the lobby area is not that large. If you are looking for a doctor for your pet I would highly recommend this place. If you do come have Doctor Robinson share the story of the videos of his pit bulls and the deer that help his dogs eat the apples in his backyard. It is hilarious.

We had a very, very ill kitty named Beannie. He had a stone blocking in his urinary track. Dr. Robinson and staff were fantastic and saved Beannie's llife. He was in and out of the hospital for about a week and was literally dying. With Dr. Robinson's immediate care and top notch care for Beannie he is now home and just as honorary as ever. We are for ever grateful to Dr. Robinson and staff for everything they did to save his life.

I have been to many vets in El Dorado county and since coming to the Missouri Flat Pet Clinic 2 years ago I won't go anywhere else. My rescue dog has aggression issues and doesn't like people he doesn't know. But from the very first time I walked in the door this vet has made both myself and my dog feel incredibly comfortable. The bed side manner here is unlike any other.

This was our first time we took our pups to Dr. Robinson's and were blown away with how we were taken care of. It's always heartbreaking to take our fur babies to the vet but Dr. Robinson and his staff soothed all our concerns. His love for animals, especially pitbulls really touched us. He does amazing things for animals not just at his clinic but dedicates his life to saving/helping them. We will absolutely be switching vets after our experience today. I can't thank them enough.

I had taken my 12 year old Akita in to see Dr. Robinson for a second opinion because my vet in Sac indicated he prefer not to do surgery on her due to her age. She had two lumps under her tongue which Dr. Robinson looked at and said if it was his dog he would remove them and send them in for analysis. He was so patient and spent time explaining to me what he thought it could be and why the surgery. He made me feel very comfortable with the procedure and assured me that if she looked like it would be a risk they would not perform it. Everything went well he called when the results came in, explained everything to me in details. He is the best Vet I have seen in a long time and his fees are affordable. He really has a passion for the animals and is such a pleasant person. I would recommend him to all my friends looking for a good vet.

While pet/house sitting for a friend I needed to take her cat to a vet due to her leg swelling. Originally I had an appointment at another clinic, but that place called back and had to cancel due to overbooking/emergency surgeries (props to them though for calling around and getting me an appointment here).From start to finish the care my friends cat received here was five stars all the way! I wish I had known about this clinic when I lived in Placerville!!! They are that good!We were quickly seen, leg was diagnosed and explained, abscess taken care of, follow up care & medication proscribed - start to finish 3 hrs (including surgery to drain abscess).The staff is friendly, the vet ... personable, does not talk to you condescendingly, explains things clearly, is HUMAN, has a great "bed side" manner, and, yay, this clinic is affordable!They even have several rescues wandering around who have great stories and are very sweet. This place is so amazing that I would consider making the drive from Sonoma to have my own cat seen.THANK YOU MISSOURI FLAT PET CLINIC FOR MAKING A SCARY SITUATION OK!!!

We have moved into the area the past two months and we had to bring our eight year old Blue Nose Pit mix to her new Vetinarian. We had a very, very ill kitty named Beannie. He had a stone blocking in his urinary track. Dr. Robinson and staff were fantastic and saved Beannie's llife. He was in and out of the hospital for about a week and was literally dying. With Dr. Robinson's immediate care and top notch care for Beannie he is now home and just as honorary as ever. We are for ever grateful to Dr. Robinson and staff for everything they did to save his life.

I have been to many vets in El Dorado county and since coming to the Missouri Flat Pet Clinic 2 years ago I won't go anywhere else. My rescue dog has aggression issues and doesn't like people he doesn't know. But from the very first time I walked in the door this vet has made both myself and my dog feel incredibly comfortable. The bed side manner here is unlike any other.

Took my dog in to gets shots updated and they squeezed me in the same day I called! Very friendly staff and we were in and out in a jiffy.

This was our first time we took our pups to Dr. Robinson's and were blown away with how we were taken care of. It's always heartbreaking to take our fur babies to the vet but Dr. Robinson and his staff soothed all our concerns. His love for animals, especially pitbulls really touched us. He does amazing things for animals not just at his clinic but dedicates his life to saving/helping them. We will absolutely be switching vets after our experience today. I can't thank them enough.

I had taken my 12 year old Akita in to see Dr. Robinson for a second opinion because my vet in Sac indicated he prefer not to do surgery on her due to her age. She had two lumps under her tongue which Dr. Robinson looked at and said if it was his dog he would remove them and send them in for analysis. He was so patient and spent time explaining to me what he thought it could be and why the surgery. He made me feel very comfortable with the procedure and assured me that if she looked like it would be a risk they would not perform it. Everything went well he called when the results came in, explained everything to me in details. He is the best Vet I have seen in a long time and his fees are affordable. He really has a passion for the animals and is such a pleasant person. I would recommend him to all my friends looking for a good vet.

Dr Robinson is an excellent vet, with a real empathy and affinity with animals. He also keeps costs reasonable, I have not had him recommend of do unnecessary tests

While pet/house sitting for a friend I needed to take her cat to a vet due to her leg swelling. Originally I had an appointment at another clinic, but that place called back and had to cancel due to overbooking/emergency surgeries (props to them though for calling around and getting me an appointment here).From start to finish the care my friends cat received here was five stars all the way! I wish I had known about this clinic when I lived in Placerville!!! They are that good!We were quickly seen, leg was diagnosed and explained, abscess taken care of, follow up care & medication proscribed - start to finish 3 hrs (including surgery to drain abscess).The staff is friendly, the vet ... personable, does not talk to you condescendingly, explains things clearly, is HUMAN, has a great "bed side" manner, and, yay, this clinic is affordable!They even have several rescues wandering around who have great stories and are very sweet. This place is so amazing that I would consider making the drive from Sonoma to have my own cat seen.THANK YOU MISSOURI FLAT PET CLINIC FOR MAKING A SCARY SITUATION OK!!!
