We started with Dr. Gardner in 1974. The staff has celebrated with us thru the lives of a number of beloved dogs and more than a few stray-take in cats. They cared for us as well as our pets thru health, sicknesses, and death's sorrow. We continue to trust in their loving care and our adult children now continue that trust too. Thanks to all!!!

My family has been going to Dr. Gardner and Town and Country since we moved to Pleasanton in 1977!! The service is exceptional and the staff goes above and beyond to truly give your pet the utmost care and compassion. As a surgeon Dr. Gardner is phenomenal and precise. Dr. Dossey is wonderful as well I wouldn't dare take my four legged children anywhere else.

I have been going to T&C Vet Hospital for over 40 years, covering 5 dogs. The service is exceptional, the caring, passionate doctors, the friendly knowledgeable staff make it very inviting. So inviting that when we go for an appointment, my "now" dog thinks she is at home and starts to explore her "home" and say hi to everybody. For this she gets a treat from one of the staff. Also, the hospital is always very clean and sanitized. I also recommend the "hotel" along with it. Thanks Doctors Don and Colleen.

It's always hard to leave your dog when you travel but Town & Country is like a home away from home for Buddy. They have all his records in the same spot which is great. Buddy does not like anyone touching his nails and clipping them is a nightmare that despite the muzzle involves biting. The team bravely decided to tackle the job knowing my dude would leave casualties in his wake for 16 goofy nails. One scratch (thanks Doc!) and 3 minutes later he had short nails and was happy to boot. Thanks for taking on the hard jobs too and making Buddy welcome.

The folks at Town and Country have been taking excellent care of my furry family members for 30 years now, maybe longer. I have complete faith and confidence that my pets will be well cared for. A recent visit indicated that my dog had a mild ear infection. I received 2 or 3 follow up calls during the following week just to make sure that Wilbur was doing better. I love that they care!

I take 3 cats and my dog to T&C for primary vet care. I appreciate that the doctors offer both holistic and Western options. Recently, I was able to pursue a holistic treatment for my dog that I felt was a better option for her overall health. When it didn't work, we were able to change to more modern approach and fixed the issue. It's great to have multiple options that fit both the vet recommendations and owner preferences. This vet is easy to work with; I always can get an appt when needed and their online tools are very helpful.
