The Doctor who owns the practice is amazing with all his patients! He took such good care of both my dogs. My yellow lab had surgery twice and my black lab also, Which went very well. The vet is very caring and has amazing bed side manner. Dogs are family members and you want them in good hands, and with this vet they are! You can't find very many caring doctors these days. I refer everyone I know to All Creatures. We make the drive from Tulare, but completely worth it. Another reason why All Creatures is our vet of choice, they have very reasonable prices for all animals needs. I referred my mom over and she is so happy! This is a review for the boarding services.My dogs are happy and clean, which deserves a 4-5 star rating, BUT....I've been here twice.  Both times the receptionist (2 different ones) says nada to me and hands me "quotes" for my 2 dogs.  BOTH times they included fees for vaccinations and my dogs don't need vaccines!  I initially provided the vaccination records and I shouldn't have to keep having a conversation about it.  When I mention the quote is wrong, I get an attitude and it takes quite awhile for the adjustment to made.  I feel like this is a PUSH to make more money off of people who aren't paying attention.  The second, and final visit, my 2 small dogs were quoted at $20 and $21 a night.  I didn't pay attention to those rates until I did the manual calculation after I got home.  The website CLEARLY shows rates of $17 to $20 a night, with the higher rate for large dogs, so is no one maintaining the website?  Also, something very strange to me is that they switch out the dogs collars and leashes for a generic one of their own.  Ok.  Makes sense, kind of.  What I don't like is when I pick them up, the dogs are handed off to me with the generic leashes and I have to get my collars back on the dogs and no one gives any type of assistance.  I have 2 dogs and one is very anxious.  This whole process is frustrating and not very "customer friendly". Outstanding Veterinary care! We had moved and not found a new Vet yet for our dogs when one suffered an emergency dental issue. Staff was very professional, friendly and caring. Dr. Imbach was great! Super clean and modern facility. Took care of my little buddy and sent us home. Cost wise our visit was way less than I had thought it would be from previous experiences, especially with all vaccines brought up to date as well. Yesterday, I took Bronco is this place and explained the situation. I am willing to pay for the vet bill and mediation for him even though this dog doesn't belong to me. This veterinary understood that my passion for this dog's needs is that he needs medical attention. I am willing to take the responsibility to get Bronco whatever he needs to get him well. Plus whatever up to date vaccinations and rabies that Bronco needs. I was told that this dog has all his vaccinations and up to date rabies. However, there is no records on file according to All Creatures. I said ok, let's get this dog up to date vaccinations and rabies that I can file it through Porterville animal controls for me to get licensed for Bronco. Thank you Veterinary Geffory for your help for getting Bronco medication for him. The rest is my responsibility to get him back to ideal weight and on the road to recovery. Plus this veterinary knows that I take care of Scout and Rottie. They also know about an emergency situation on kitten right hind leg was broken and I took care of it. Paid for it and she's doing fine. Still being the ninja attack kitten when you walk by her. That's her way to play with you or the dogs.Read Less

My fiance and I recently had a wonderful experience! We took in our rescued kitten to be examined and Dr Gaffery was so very kind and patient with all of our questions and concerns. Dr. Imbach is an excellent vet. I trust him with all my beloved Furbabies. He is caring and calls clients back personally. The girls upfront are not the friendliest and if your animal has an emergency, don't call them! I had a Great Dane in bloat, I was told for a $50 fee I could come and wait, they might be able to work her in! My baby died by the time I found a vet that would see her. We took our Bubba in about two weeks ago to see Dr Gaffrey. Unfortunately the prognosis was not good. Dr Gaffrey was very helpful in helping us understand the illness that Bubba had, which was FIP. Today we brought Bubba in to be euthanized. Dr Gaffrey and his staff, showed so much compassion and understanding, they walked us through the process, we were able to stay with him until he went to sleep. My husband and I have loved many "clients" of All Creatures Pet care".  We've boarded our baby's there, just a couple times , they've had numerous immunizations there, couple surgeries , of course spay/neuter, etc.. This has been over a period of 20 years, as well as many, many babies (ok pets ). Honestly I can't think of any time I felt disrespected by any of the staff or Drs. One of the coldest veterinarian offices I have ever unfortunately had to take one of my dogs to. The office staff has to be one of the rudest all powerful groups that decides if a animal lives or dies. Example - I personally called after a weekend informing the staff that my sisters dog had been ill over the weekend and had been vomiting and not able to keep any fluids or solids down. Mind you that we had just had the dog in a matter of 4 days before to have his initial series of vaccination along with his parvovirus shot. I informed the front office of the animals condition and if they had any openings to have the animal seen. I was quickly shot down as if it wasn't serious and these things happen. I informed them that I was genuinely concerned about the animal having lost a previous puppy to parvovirus and recognizing the symptoms. I was casually dismissed and informed if I wanted to make a appointment they maybe could see the dog the following Monday but reassured that there wasn't anything to worry about. I pushed the issue and eventually did get informed I could bring the dog down as a walk in. The vet examines the dog and informs us that it must have been something that he ate. We take the dog home and continue to watch the animal slip farther to end up passed away the next morning. Well unfortunately because this is a small town there really isn't too many options to choose from for vets. So today I call and inform the front office when they first open that my 7 year old Lab has been regurgitating for the past 14 hours over night. They quickly inform me that all appointments for Saturday are filled, so I ask about any walk in appointments. I'm told I could but I'm gonna be charged a walk in fee of $60, a emergency fee of $100, on top of the normal exam fee and any additional fees for exams and medication. I informed the quick toned lady that we have had probably 14 dogs over the past 20 years with them and asked if there was anything that they could do to be able to see my dog today. I was informed over time isn't cheap and the doctor has to call it a day eventually, they have stuff they have to do to. So there may or may not be the fees discussed and possibly more if I do choose to bring my dog in...if the vet chooses to see him. I look at my dog as a member of the family, but I am not open to extortion because of that. If this office had any sense of compassion then maybe they could make a exception for the fees on top of fees before you even start to pay the normal fees. Shame on you All Creatures for taking advantage of people when members of their family are at their weakest. Read Less

I will never bring my dog back here for vet services or boarding! I picked my dog up from their boarding house and she had gotten a staph infection due to the unsanitary conditions. Prices are decent. They tried charging extra for a spay saying she was in heat at the time...when she hadn't been for over a month. They waived that though after talking to them about it. The doctors are great and will answer any questions you have. Even my dog loves it there, she gets excited to when we get close, and can't wait to get inside to see the girls there. Such great service by a very caring staff. I took my big dog in after she was attacked by another dog. The doctor repaired a very nasty gash above the dogs left eye, and it looks like it was repaired by a plastic surgeon! I have to look to see evidence of a scar. This place is great! They have an up to date practice that offers a multitude of services. I have been taking my animals there for over ten years and would never go anywhere else. I know when I leave my animals for any reason that they are in good, caring, kind hands. My 6 month old dog was ran over and was limping and wimpering so i took him in.I barley spoke to the doctor for 2 minutes at the most! I got no questions or concerns in,The assistants were rude and pushy.The one who took my took my dog back when i dropped him off threw his collar at me and dragged him by one of they're rope collars. He was crying and i told her "he was ran over, he cant walk" and she replied "well he's going to have to".at which point, they entered the next room and i could still hear him cry.i had already paid. and i knew my dog needed to be seen asap or else i would've gotten back my check and took my dog elsewhere.I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING HERE UNLESS THEY WANT THEY'RE PET TO BE SCARED OF PEOPLE!worst vet clinic i have ever been to.. hands down Read Less
