Dr Perry has been taking excellent care of my 18 year old cat, Darwin. I feel like Darwin is genuinely cared about and my healthcare choices for him are respected. I had my first experience with the staff at Adobe when I had to make the sudden decision to euthanize my beloved cat. After calling another vet I had taken her to where I was told that I could bring in my cat (who was having seizures due to last stage renal failure) and wait to see if they could "fit us in", I called Adobe and they told me I could bring her in as soon as I could get there and they would take of us... and they did. The staff was warm and understanding, and the vet went over my pets status and what her future could possibly look like with certain treatments, and then was very supportive when I chose to euthanize because the treatments would be expensive, painful, and risky and her quality of life would be low. Instead of pushing me to spend more money, they took care of me and my furbaby. We have since taken our 11 year old lab and they have taken excellent care of him as well. They me be slightly more expensive than a few others, but they don't overbooked like the others where I have always been seen half and gour to an hour after my appointment time. Read Less

Becca, the manager of this hospital is such a delight. She is very knowledgeable and was extremely helpful with all the questions I had. She seems to really care about the clients and their beloved pets that they bring in. I had a rabbit that needed surgery, and even though the adobe animal hospital does not treat rabbits, she recommended me to a phenomenal vet that specialized in rabbits and assured me that he would do a good job. Love this crew! Our sweet Baby Carlos, a Chihuahua with Addison's Disease, needs a shot every month and they are always kind and very gentle with him. He can be a cranky little bugger. We recently added Crowley Bear, a Shepherd mix, to our family. We adopted him from Helen Woodward and when we brought him home found out he had a horrible bacterial infection and needed antibiotics to stop his bellyache. The wonderful doctors called everyday to check on his progress until he was feeling better. What people need to understand is that veterinarian aren't a non-profit business :) Read Less

Even customer service people are human, sometimes you get what you give. 3. Payment terms are clearly noted, you wouldn't take kindly to your boss being in a difficult situation and asking you to accept a payment plan for your paycheck. Extremely happy with how they took care of my old man Doxie, Nik!! He needed extensive dental work done and the doctor and his staff did such a great job he was back at it the next day like nothing happened. I will continue to take my animals there for their health needs. People complain they are "very pricey", well, hate to break it to ya, they all are about the same in pricing... Very bad experience our family pet a small dog. Do not allow payment options, very rude woman at the front desk . Lack of empathy in times of need. Feel as if just a number to them. After my family and I moved to Ramona we had a medical emergency for our " baby girl" pitbull Bella. Not only did they see her right away but the pricing was Apples to Apples from what we were paying at her old vet in Santee.
