I am new to the area but chose Adobe based on reviews I'd read and wasn't disappointed. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and take the necessary time to deal with whatever you pet is there for. Recently our puppy was spayed but didn't like the solid "funnel" collar and so they suggested an inflatable one and when the puppy was still able to chew out some sutures we took her back and the "glued" the incision all at no charge. Brought my dog here for an deep ear cleaning and he came back with now a broken Canine which is going to cost an arm and a leg , they stated it's my dogs fault for trying to chew out of the cage they had him in, he was suppose to be sedated.. when I inquired on how they planned on helping me out with this expensive situation that occurred under their care, I got no where ... I brought Jameson, my German Shepherd for neuter and hernia repair. I was very nervous, however I was welcomed with open arms. I was greeted by Stephanie who re assured me everything was going to be ok. Dr Aulakh was very kind and understanding. Explained the procedure in detail and answered any questions or concerns I had. Jameson warmed up to him quickly.Adobe animal hospital /Stephanie kept me updated through out his procedure. I felt very comfortable leaving my pet under their care. I was very pleased with how they called for initial confirmation of the appointment and followed us closely till the suture removal (2 weeks later). I live very close to this Vet and my neighbor recommended it. Looked on Yelp and I see 4 stars. I am a huge animal lover and I have had many animal over the years. So visit to a vet is something I've done a lot in my lifetime. I have rescued many animal along the way too. Since I moved here recently I was looking for a good vet. My other one in the area retired. I took my dog there first for her ear being swollen. They said it was from her shaking her head and it needed to be drained. It was blood build up in her ear. This cost me over 800 dollars. I thought it was definitely over charged. But did it anyway. Thought I would give them another try. I had to put my other dog down. Again the highest price in town but didn't want my dog to suffer and they where close. I think it's stupid when your bringing in a dog that is obviously dying that your charges for a vet check. Well time went by. I needed to get my dog fixed and I had rescued some puppies from the trash. I asked if they could give me any deal on the rescue puppies. Since I was not planing on keeping them. Just trying to foster them until I found homes for them. They would give me no break or deal. So I took the puppies to a clinic that's a lot cheaper. I just needed shots and worming. But again for convenience I had my dog fixed there. Again there price was high. I took my dog with the ear problem back in. Because she had a rash. They did lots of test and gave me meds... 350 dollars later I still don't know what's wrong with my dog and the meds made it worse. When I called them they said stop using the meds and bring her back in. I asked if I would be charged they said yes! I asked why did I pay 350 for last week? Now the meds I paid for not only didn't work. But she still has the rash. I declined going back figured I would find a new vet. Well my cat got sick and I didn't know if she could make it far. I took her in and they said she was in pain and had a tumor. 220 dollars to put her down! This was it. I think you look at only the money your making and not really caring about the animal. You are by far the highest price around. And I don't think the care is superior to justify the price. Why the one star? Because when you fixed my dog was the only time I was satisfied with service. People love there pets. I think you prey on the fact people will pay then see there animal suffer. If you charged a reasonable charge you would have the business you needed without needing to rip people off. Read Less

This place has a 4.7 rating for a reason! I called this morning and spoke with a Marissa, who was very nice and answered all of my questions with the kindest of words. I am excited to be bringing my eight week old Siberian Husky, and one year old Bombay to this facility. *This is important to know! this facility accepts Pet Assure.* Time for review numba 2! So... February 10th 2017, My little 8 week old pup MELLOW had an appointment with Dr.A. the doctor was awesome! enough said. The nursing staff, however, was not good!!! THEY WERE GREAT!!! like tony the tiger. Never, have I ever, felt the was I did when I got the this place. I felt VIP! Marissa was not only the lady that I spoke with on the phone, but the nurse that help mellow too. she loved him, as I'm sure he loved her. she was polite, sweet, and so carrying. I recently brought my dog here because he was having quite a few health issues. The nurses were very kind and attentive. I also felt that the place as a whole genuinely has my dogs best interest at heart. Though I did think that it is pricey, you can also choose which plans to take or decline which will help to temper the bill. Overall, I would recommend this place. It is homely and personal. staff is great and friendly, being going for months especially since i got a new dog. I had dogs before. But it comes to the vet, just some of the things they've done I believe is too much. i understand that some of the stuff is to help our pets but they really just "recommend it" which for me, I know whats need and not needed at times. For example, there's been many times my dog throws up and I'm still new to having a dog despite my previous experience. So yes I try to make my dog is ok and healthy. Rodolfo (my dog) has his shots yet still having digestion problems. Yet when there was blood work (which was $145 and a lot for me and i didnt have a job at the time) they say he's fine and to fix something with his glands, it was $75. (Mind you this was also a day I was going to disneyland with my boyfriend that paid for me since it was my birthday.) We were upset because the doctor just did something to my dogs butt for a few seconds (literally) and we were being charged altogether with the office visit (another $40) we're at $250. My boyfriend only had $300 for the disneyland tickets. so he ended up paying the whole thing and still went to disneyland. One of the people that i know told me that i could just bring Rodolfo to his wife and she couldve done the butt thing since she was an assistant in an animal hospital before. Read Less

I been bringing my fur babies Fievel and Sophie for the past 5yrs, and I absolutely love how Dr. Aulakh and the staff take care of my babies. I love how attentive they were with my fur babies. I have recommended this place to friends and family, and I get a great response, they love it as well. I recently took both my babies and I met Marissa for the first time. She was fantastic! She was very helpful with my boy Fievel, who was very scared and she helped keep him calm. She also answer all my questions and helped me understand some concerns I had. Came in September to have them give my cat an antibiotic shot for her upper respiratory infection, once we came in the doctor said she wouldn't administer the shot and and said to give her pills instead . The pills ended up not working and now all of my cats have the same thing . I feel that she on purposely didn't give her the shot so we would come back again so she can make more money . Not only that but they are almost like car salesman , they try to push expensive probiotics and special food and act like your animal needs it to fix the underlying problem when you can buy these products on amazon way cheaper . They have over 15 local competitors so i would recommend going somewhere else or price check . I will be going to my local vet that doesn't try to make as much money off somebody's sick animal as possible . In my opinion they are not here to help , they're there for you money ! Read Less

I have used Adobe animal for over 20 yrs ... they did surgery on my dogs ear and when I got him back his whole chest and tummy was bruised and they said they don't know what happened ... My dog was in your care for 8 hrs and his poor body gets bruised !!!!! His ear is great but now  he has sores on his chest because he scratched the bruised and the skin being tender he has open sores on his chest .... AFAIRD  to go back !!!!! Read Less

I brought my 8 week old German Shepard puppy Shadow  here about 2 weeks ago to have a check up and his first set of shot and I so glad I did. They were so friendly and helpful. He had just got worms and we were really worried about parvo but Stephanie and our Doctor answered all the questions and we felt at ease that he would be perfectly fine. They were so loving and caring to Shadow. Plus prices here are so reasonable. I was very impressed. We will be bringing our other puppy here soon. I had a horrible experience with the male vet at my dog was coughing horribly and four years ago she was diagnosed with chronic bronchitis she has a regular medicine that she has been on all these years that works excellent I brought the medication to the vet and told him how wonderful it has always helped her so much and he had an attit and told me know that he would not give her the medicine and insisted on a more expensive medicine and insisted on blood tests and x-rays when I told him that I am on a fixed income and can barely afford the office visit he refused to give my dog a medicine that has worked for years and he didn't have a good enough explanation other than his holier-than-thou attitude because he was the boss they called the next day to see how my dog was doing and I told them she's worse off then before the doctor gave me the message that he would not try the medicine that she had been on. End of story my dog now remains coughing and hacking away until I can afford the next vet visit so he didn't want to work with the patient it was basically what he said goes I was recommended there and I'm sure they are good for little small things but something more serious I don't have any trust in them once I told them my dad was not doing well they never called me again and that is just fine with me I do not recommend Adobe Animal HospitalRead Less

I took my dog shosi in for an exam and a micro chip and had a wondeful experience. The environment was very nice and my dog and i felt very comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful, particularly Stephanie. She took great care of shoshi and I, and gave us very helpful information. My family took our cats to Adobe as long as we were in the area.  I had good experiences there and so did my mom.  My mom does not have a Yelp account but wanted me to post this on her behalf:"I have had four cats, each of them beloved and long lived. I owe their long lives to the wonderful staff at Adobe Pet Hospital. I have one incredible cat left, Bula, and she had her 19th birthday in March of 2016. I now administer subcutaneous fluids to Bula on my own --but it took me such a long time to be able to administer them myself! I owe my expertise to Marissa Parra, the technician who gave Bula her fluids many times with such compassion and expertise. Marissa had such patience and love for my old cat and even gave Bula-at her own expense--a very comfortable cat carrier for Christmas. Marissa felt my old carrier was not comfortable. Every time I put Bula in that comfy cat carrier, I think of Marissa's love and sweetness. Every time I give Bula her fluids I think of how Marissa encouraged me to trust myself and keep trying. When we got our Yorkie, Cody, this was where the previous owners had taken him so we continued to bring him here.The staff is friendly and gentle with my Cody. Dr Aulakh works quickly and I don't have to spend forever here. They have the shot clinic on Wednesdays and Saturdays and make it affordable to keep your pets vaccinated! That's definitely one of the main reasons what had me coming back. Now, I haven't lived in Rancho Cucamonga for over 3 years but I still continue to bring my Cody here twice a year to get his vaccinations. I haven't even bothered to look for a vet in Pasadena. I must say I've been to several animal hospitals and met a lot of staff who say they care and are attentive to you and your pet. But... my experience at Adobe was second to none. I went and experienced a staff who were concerned, and showed genuine care for me and my best buddy Einstein. The facility is clean and up to date. I grew up in the area and can say it should be the hospital of choice for anyone who lives close by. I, sadly, didn't find that out until having numerous horrible experiences with other places. Adobe has been caring for my dogs for three years now. They are fast, efficient, patient and understanding (we have pits) and always seem to be open when I most need them. Adobe Animal Hospital is a great place to take your pets. They helped my dog, Cocoa for the last two years of his life. Cocoa eventually became too sick and we had to make the decision to put him down. The staff was so supportive and sympathetic to my husband and I when we brought him in. They let me stay by his side the whole time and made the whole process so much easier. I even got a card from them a few weeks later. Prices vary on the size or dog and if they have medications.    Vet Aulakh is very professional and kind. He had to come to my house for a home visit once because my 100 pound boxer was too sick to move and I couldn't lift him . I finally found a phenomenal Veterinarian and staff at Adobe Animal Hospital. They set the bar above everyone else. I would not take my fur babies anywhere else. It is worth knowing my babies are being well taken care of and loved too. One of my dogs had surgery there last month and loves going back for her check ups because Dr. and staff have treated her so well. Dr. Aulakh and his staff have been caring for us since 2001. Over the years we have had surgeries, lab work, teeth cleaning, vaccinations, and the care we have received here is always first rate. When one of us goes in for a procedure, Dr. Aulakh will frequently call on the following day to see how we are feeling.
