I took my daughters cat in for a lump near her eye. They sold me some medicine to see if the swelling would go down. Ut didnt so she required surgery to remove her eye. After surgery the lump returned. I took her back and the docors say that she is in bad shape. They asked if i wanted to put her down. As i thought about it,they asked me if i wanted to do more tests for $350. I asked the doctor that if he suggested that i put here down, why would i want to do more tests? His reply, "for my peace of mind." They charged me an additional $55 to put her down. When i got home, i was thinking about all of the things they told me and all of the expense. I decided to file a claim with State Board of Vetinary Medicine. I called to get their license number, and the receptionist ask me "why?" I replued that i just wanted it. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called back again. Same thing. She flat out refused to give me the number. These guys are crooks. They look to take advantage of peoples emotions when it come to their pets to line their own pockets. Look at the cars these doctors drive. Of course there is nothing wrong with having a $100k car, if you can afford it more power to you. But i dont think their clients should shouls get fanged for the monthly payments. I have 5 dogs who are all idiots and get sick or injured over the stupidest things and Dr. Guirges is ALWAYS AMAZING! They're amazingly fast and surprisingly inexpensive, which is a big relief for Dog Dads in an industry where it's especially easy to gouge heartbroken pet owners like many vets do.Read Less

We have been with baseline animal hospital sense 1988 and we have very pleased with the care they have shown out dogs (5) and will continue. The staff on both sides are courtesy and friendly, u won't find a better place to board you pets or have them groomed. The staff is very knowledgeable and will take the time needed to answer whatever question you may have. Are current dogs just love the staff and doctors.. Read Less

I just love the staff to start off they make you very welcome. I had gotten 2 kittens from a cat rescue who had used a horrible vet that was required to use before you adopt them. They treated my kittens with horrible care. I brought them to Baseline which is my regular vet and they were amazing. Janice who works the front office and has been there for years is amazing. All their staff is very understanding and supportive. If you are looking for a good vet Dr.G is your man. I cant say enough about this hospital. They basically had me pay $900 on a cat that could not be saved and lied about giving him this medicine. I still had to put the cat down because of his suffering. I will never take any animal to this place. Read Less

This place is great. Last Friday I had an appointment with my old vet and waited over an hour only to be told that I would not be seen. I left and came to Baseline Animal Hospital to see if they could see my little guy as his neck wad scratched raw and had a hole in it. I was greeted by a friendly staff and seen right away by a very nice vet. My little guy had to spend the night and have surgery the following morning. I received a call from the hospital checking on Snuffy Monday morning. We go back today to get the tubes out and find out if he had cancer. I will be staying with this animal hospital as they seem much more concerned about my little guy than the old vet does. Thank you to the entire staff for making us feel important and welcome. The most professional staff I've ever met. I drive 25 miles out of my just because they treat both my k9 babies wonderful. They fully explain what's going on and they don't pressure you on things if you can't afford it. Not to mention it is very clean. Read Less

This was unfortunately my first and last time there as our family dog was suffering from in-operable internal bleeding and had to be put down. This was quite a shock and they allowed us as much time as needed for the entire family to say our good byes. All of the staff including the veterinarian were very compassionate and caring for both the family and Freckles. I took my dog to other establishments and then here. At this hospital I had a great experience with scheduling NOW. In other words, I was told to come now as opposed to waiting for appointment and was served within 10 min of arrival. Service was courteous, check in fast and friendly. Hospital is VERY clean and professional looking compared to other establishments. I get updates on vaccines via email and their prices are reasonable. Plenty of parking around the building, easy access from Baseline Avenue. I do not thing I will be looking for any other hospital in the near future. Great experience overall. I give them 10 out of 10 points. And no, I am not their employee nor family member nor friend. Just pretty satisfied customer. Read Less

When my boyfriend brought our puppy home, I fell instantly in love with the little guy just as everyone else does. Only catch was... I had no idea we were getting a puppy, and neither did my boyfriend. He found our puppy running across foothill blvd in Fontana and felt so terrible for the poor thing that he brought our little guy home. The first thing I did after declaring that we were keeping him was take him to the vet. Baseline Animal Hospital got us in right away, set us up with the puppy plan, and even let us pay in two installments since this was such an unexpected event. I love that they are eager to help you with your pet, whether it's during an appointment, answering a question, or calling to see if your dog is doing ok when they see that you had to take them to the animal hospital on a Sunday. I have only taken my dog there for grooming and boarding. They are not our regular vet specifically because my dog has been going to the same vet since she was a pup. However, because our regular vet does not board, I chose Baseline Animal Hospital. They have always been professional, courteous, and friendly to me even though I am not a regular customer. Upon returning to pick up my dog after a week-long stay each time, she was excited to see me, freshly groomed, and overall healthy looking. That's all I can ask for. They followed her routines and especially for her medication, which can be a pain. Overall, I would recommend them and will definitely use them again the next time I need her boarded. Read Less
