Let me just say how impressed I am with this place! The hours are outstanding! Waiting room is very spacious and clean. We had our appointment on a Sunday at 8.30 am! I mean who is open on Sundays? Our vet was very friendly, she didn’t want to do any work on my dog that wasn’t necessary, unlike other places… She was sweet to my boy, and they performed all the needed work in a timely manner and were very affordable! What an incredible facility!!! We have been with Rancho Regional since the facility opened and Dr. Berg was the only vet. It has since grown and has added some wonderful doctors. It has also grown to the point that the hours have been extended and it is open seven days a week. This is just awesome. Dr. Berg is an amazing vet and has such compassion for the animals. I have been bringings my dogs to Rancho Regional Veterinary since we moved to this area 12 years ago. They take and took very good care of them . Two of our dogs have passed , they were 14 & 15 years old. The staff are very supporting and thoughtful. Last year my husband was emitted to the hospital on Nov 1, our lab Buddy ruptured 2 disks on Nov 2. I brought Buddy in and basically said can you fix this. I got my husband and Buddy back in about a week. Buddy recovered quicker that my husband. I think Rancho Regional is a bit higher priced, however, but if you can't afford a treatment they will tell you what they can do within your budget. I've worked with 4 of the veterinarians there and they are all good. Read Less

Dr Berg and his staff are some of the most amazing people I’ve had the privilege of meeting and working with. My dog has been seen at Rancho regional since she was rescued and has had everything done from routine care to more intense surgical procedures and each time I know she is in great hands Recently we got the bad news that she had a rare form of cancer and immediately I was given all the information I needed to make an educated opinion on how to proceed and the necessary referrals. I found them after a bad experience at another local veterinarian's location when my pet, which I lost, was not accurately diagnosed. Our Golden Retriever's have been patients of Dr. Berg's for seven years. We have received excellent care. Easy to get an appointment. He listens to our concerns and always gives us options for out pet's care. He is great with our dog's, getting down on their level and petting them. They enjoy visiting the vet. This vet's office is literally the best in the inland empire. They always provide me with treatment options and prices. The front desk staff are friendly and respectful. This facility and the whole staff have proven beyond words to be a super clean environment and highly caring of pet needs. They were there for our Willow when she needed removal of a cancerous tumor on her leg, allowing her to go on to live a long and happy life. I visited here for the first time with my Chorkie yesterday. I was very up front with my financial situations but was desperate to find out what was wrong with my little girl. They were very understanding and didnt turn us away. As a matter of fact they did whatever they could to help us out. They were very caring, helpful and wonderful ppl. I highly recommend them. Yesterday I made a frantic call to the office because our dog had been run over. We were able to bring him in right away and was taken in to be examined immediately. Luckily after X-rays and blood tests he only had a fracture in his leg. Everyone in the office made it a very good experience. Everything including cost and results were explained completely. Took my Lab puppy in for an emergency. Ryan met me at the front door to rush her to the back. The entire time I was there that day the staff was very informative and attentive to all my questions. Someone would periodically let me know what was happening and in my case the progress my puppy was making. It was very reassuring the amount of information I received throughout the day. The doctor I met with explained everything in detail and what needed to happen next. They were efficient in the handling of the follow-up visits. If I ever have another emergency, I will head straight to Rancho Cucamonga Regional Hospital, however I sincerely hope I never do..!!! I have been bringing my English bulldog here for almost 6 years. They are amazing. They know the breed well and all the doctors take the time to listen to you and get to know your pet. My bulldog has been through a lot and they have been there with me every step of the way. They have gone above and beyond on several occasions to make sure my boy has been given the best care possible, doing things for me I can't imagine any other vets office doing in regards to follow up and being available to answer questions and give advise during off hours. Great experience; although circumstances were not. Had an emergency with my pup, called ahead 30mins prior to arrival, and we were seen as soon as we walked in the door. Not too much paper work and my pup was back to normal by the same night. Loved the employees and Dr.White was especially great! Not to mention their prices were very reasonable. We brought our dog Ted in on a Sunday morning after he was viciously attacked by another dog. The staff was very kind and informative the entire visit. We had such a great 1st time visit with Dr. Berg. We had adopted our dog through a rescue last August and it was time for his annual visit. I wasn't completely happy with the vet we had been using for our cats. We chose this place because of all that this facility has to offer in one place and all the positive reviews. We went in with a number of concerns we wanted discussed about Linc, our 2 yr old border collie mix. Dr. Berg spent so much time going over each issue I was afraid other patients were going to start backing up. He gave us assurances and directions all the while sitting on the floor petting and calming Linc, who was a bit hyper at the start. At one point Dr. Berg was told another doctor was on hold -- he STILL stayed with us for what felt like at least another 5-7 minutes making sure we had all of our questions answered. Hands down by far -The Best Vet- we've gone to with all of our "kids" we've had throughout the entire 26 years since moving into the area! Read Less

We were drawn to this vet clinic after reading all the good reviews on the Internet. We moved cross country and took our young puppy there to receive his care. We felt there was little communication between the staff and vets. When asking questions we felt like we were bothering them rather then them helping us. We never saw the same vet and all the vets had different opinions when we asked for advice. Our puppy had an eye infection this past winter that was very minor, they prescribed him eye drops and extremely strong pain killers. The pain killers made him extremely ill and I called the vet several times and they kept saying he was fine. No one was taking my questions or concerns seriously. Finally after bringing him and paying the emergency fee because my dog was refusing food and fluids did they actually realize something was wrong. We have asked several vets since then if they would prescribe those pain killers for the type of infection our dog had and they all strongly disagree with the choice this vet made. The painkillers were not even a kind that would help with the inflammation or anything. One vet said they only give that type of pain killer to animals who have been hit by cars or attacked. Now we have moved again and needed our dogs medical records faxed. They failed to fax the entire record and it made it look like our dog was not fully vaccinated. It was refreshing to attend the new clinic we are bringing our pet to and not feel rushed out of the room to the vet. I am not one to write but we have never been so frustrated with a facility until we brought our dog here.Read Less

Then the nurse asked me if I had any questions. We have had to come back for a few check up visits before my Tucker bear gets his stitches removed. "The sins of the father shall be visited upon the sons." Nurse deviously injected fluid into my dogs anus while pretending to take a temperature. Afterwards Dr. Berg came in and stalled while pinning my dog down until she was in discomfort as if to provoke her. Can't say what happened when they took her in the back, I heard whelps and the sudden sound as if she was jerked, but I won't make assumptions. Read Less

My family takes all of their animals (6 total spread across 4 households here). The doctors and staff are trustworthy and knowledgeable. Everyone is open to answering our questions, even if we have lots of them. The services are pricier here than at other vets, but I feel Rancho Regional really does care about our animals, and I'll pay a bit more for that peace of mind.Read Less

Lost two dogs in one week over something that was preventable. They just keep sending me home with medicine. And no diagnosis >=[] they thought my dog had parvo Even though she tested negative TWICE. I wish someone would do more explaining then just throwing medicine in my face. Now I have $500 worth of meds and no dogs:/ I took their bodies to the humane society and they said they had parasites in their tummy and one had an infected anal sack too. It was 14 years ago when I first met Dr. Berg. My cat had eaten some old dead thing and had a 90 degree bone stuck inside with a lot of other bones etc. backed up. He could not eat and was barely holding on. Within three days of seeing Dr. Berg, Casey was running around like nothing ever happened. It was truly like a miracle. Then my dog Mojo decided that foxtails make a perfect salad and ate so many she was pooping them out. Enough said about that, but for her and Dr. Berg the nightmare had just begun. Once again he came to the rescue and somehow removed all of them. Mojo has crossed the rainbow bridge now but I know she is wagging her tail and smiling as I write this. My Cat Smokie also has a lot of thanks and praises as well. I will spare you all the details but in his 14+ years more than nine lives have been lived. And lastly my new baby, Honey Cat was just seen by Dr. Bohrer who surely saved her day. Quick and skilled like Dr. Berg, Dr. Bohrer also takes the extra time to explain everything in a clear concise professional manner so even I can understand! ;-) So it is with great Thanks and Praise to the dedicated and skilled staff at Rancho Regional Veterinary Hospital that I write this review.
