Dr. Caylor and Evans are great it got hard to get an appointment with them and we just kept getting passed off to other doctors that we didn't like as much and it just felt like they were trying to run up the bill as much as possible. We've been taking our dog here for more than 6 years, and when we rescued one from the shelter two years ago, they honored the free physical voucher given by the shelter.We LOVE Dr Evans and I couldn't imagine taking our two little spoiled dogs anywhere else. All Pets is a full service vet center with talented vets, especially Dr. Lisette Evans, who is an excellent diagnostician, great with cats especially. A scientist first and foremost, she is genuinely caring about our cats and has helped us out in good times and bad over 18 years. I don't know that they are more expensive than other places, but for us, we feel very confident with Dr. Evans. The place is very busy and appointments are required so patience and planning are required. In my opinion, they're the best in the South Bay. Highly recommend. Read Less

I had some pretty good vets at Plaza Del Amo since about 2003. On the recommendation of my father in law, we paid our first visit to All Pets around 2014 for a second opinion about tumors on our Labrador. All Pets is actually closer to our house. We were instantly impressed by Dr. Caylor. He is genuine, kind and probably the most thorough heath care professional I've ever known, pet or human. From Bobbie Herroz This Hospital came recommended by my boyfriend who has been bringing his previous and present dog to this facility for care for apparently several years and has been happy with their service. Would I recommend anyone I know to this Hospital....."no". Why? Because I trusted their facility with my 6 month old Kitten who was to undergo a simple procedure (neutering) and died while being given the Anesthetic. I wonder first of all who administered the kitten and why I was not given a consent form nor any sort of consultation prior to the surgery ...Information that the kitten could die would have given me the sense to say "no" and move on. I personally feel neutering isn't a necessary operation but an elective one. Yes it controls the population and yes it sort of prevents male cats from spraying but when your cat is an indoor one and watched carefully this to me was not a necessary procedure that needed to be performed. I've been told that even neutered cats can spray so what the heck. I really feel I should have followed my instincts since I felt something was wrong when they came to get the cat without so much as a word of what could happen, and no doctor bothered to even explain the procedure to me or us...We were not even given a form to sign whereby, it would at least state, (doing this at your own risk because the animal could die). Receiving a call from the doctor telling us my Kitten had passed away was such a shock and to make matters worse, saying it was the kittens heart...My cat had been to at least two visits in the 4 months that I had him and I was always told he was growing nicely, his blood and stool test were perfect and that he was a healthy little guy. He even took his shots well and didn't get sick... I know there was human error and I know that human error exists everywhere including Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Vet Hospitals. What really bothers me is how they brush it off with the explanation that it was the cats heart...yet, every exam my cat was involved in I was told his heart sounded fine. Now, after the death of the Kitten, we are told it was his heart and that it could not be detected unless he would have had a Cat-Scan....because the problem was within or inside the heart... Again, if I had been told that there was the slightest chance that he could die I would have taken my kitten home and been done with it. Now he's gone and we get a call from the facility asking whether I want his Paw Print in a Plaque. Great huh? I'm heartbroken and all I get is a kid calling and asking if we want such a service.... Would I recommend this Hospital to anyone else...."no"...why? Because I honestly feel this facility needs major help with it's Internal Staffing. Policies, Procedures and they are extremely expensive ....There location warrants high prices but it does not warrant incompetency ...to the degree of thinking I'm gonna buy that my Kitten had a bad heart...I could care less what they say the Autopsy reveals....They should have given me the opportunity prior to surgery to say yes or no with respect to the chance of something like this happening. Apparently, the doctors are too busy doing their thing and not taking the time to explain to an owner what could happen in the worst case scenario. If they took that position I'm sure many an owners would walk out saying, "no thanks"....and that would mean loss of revenue....that's my opinion for whatever it's worth. Ask questions if you entrust your animal to this or any facility...don't just hand them over as if they are God and nothing could happen. Read Less

This is the best place to take your pet. I have had the pleasure of taking my dog to Dr. Caylor from the time she was a puppy until the end, and every time we visited Dr. Caylor was very professional, informative, and compassionate with every aspect of care. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of (over billed) due to my pet being sick, and Dr. Caylor would make sure to explain all of our options on how to most effectively treat the situation. Additionally, all of the staff are as attentive and professional as the doctor. Very nice grooming by Suzie. This is our first time with her. We arrived at 7:15 as she suggested , so Cocoa was finished by 10:00 thereby minimizing Cocoa's stress.. That was very considerate of Suzie to suggest an early arrival. We will definitely go with her again and as time goes by we will be able to suggest changes that we might like to try. I come here regularly for my two male black labs. The Dr's here are great. I recently decided to let my babies get their hair done, and i instantly regret it. The small hispanic woman groomed my boys and i refused to pay. The groomer ruined my dogs' hair, they are trembling in fear. I will NEVER return to this location for grooming. Our beloved baby cat had an accident last night and spilled melted wax all over his tummy. His hair is very thick so thank goodness he wasn't hurt but what a mess he was. I called All Pets this morning and explained what had happened and even though she was all booked up with appointments Suzie the groomer said she would work him in. Well, let me just say she is straight from heaven not just because she did an absolutely fabulous job and he looks gorgeous but for being so kind and working him in her busy schedule. I know why she is booked up, I will NEVER take him or our little dog anywhere else to be groomed!! Read Less

I have been bringing my dogs to All Pets since before they moved to their current facility, starting with Dr. Moore. I've always had fantastic treatment from the front office to the tech to the vets. Drs Evans and Caylor saw my first dog through peritonitis to a stroke which he survived for over a year. I'm a firm believer that the only reason my JRT is still here is because of Dr. Evans. He's a challenge (broken teeth, scratched cornea, allergies, systemic skin issue, auto inmune problem, to name a few). Her approach to traditional and alternative medicinces are the reason that he's still here pushing 14 years old. Now we're exploring acupuncture and cold laser therapy for his bad hip and knee. Heather, the tech performing the laser therapy, is great. She's knowledgeable and friendly. I've added two new dogs to my menagarie and wouldn't dream of taking them to any vet but All Pets. Sure, we all have our favorite vet, but its really good to know that if they're not in or available, there is always one of the other doctors in the practice available if needed. AFTER VISITING ALL PETS FOR 12 YEARS DR. EVANS AND BEANY ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST! I HAVE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE FRONT OFFICE GIRLS AND HOSPITAL ""DIRECTOR"". AFTER DRIVING FROM LAKEWOOD AND PAYING SUPER HIGH FEES TO VISIT ALL PETS, ONE WOULD THINK THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WOULD BE SUPERB! WRONG! ITS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! NOT SURE WHAT THE JOB DESCRIPTIONS ARE REALLY??? DR EVANS, DR MOORE AN DR CAYLOR ARE THE ONLY REASONS MY 16 YEAR OLD CAT COMES TO ALL PETS.
