Have been going to this vet for over 5 years. Such a disappointment to see that the compassion for the animals is not true, but subject to schedule and payment. I think new front desk people represent the vets and back office terribly. Suggest calling around and finding caring staff! Read Less

I called over to this clinic when their other two were totally booked until next week (Always a good sign in my opinion though!) because my baby boy has the start of an ear infection. The gal that answered also said they were totally booked, but put me on hold for a minute so she could ask the vet if there was anyway she could squeeze us in. She did!! Same day. Appointment was at 3:45; we were seen at exactly that time! It was also  SO nice to have a vet who recommended only what was needed to make our baby boy feel better, not what was going to run our bill up! Officially found our new veterinarian! :) Read Less

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at the LA Sierra office. They have cared for all our animals for years. Today we picked up the ashes of our precious dog "Oreo". They went over and beyond what we were expecting. His urn is so beautiful with a gold name plate and lock n key. They made an ornament of his paw print and a certificate and a beautiful poem picture to frame. Also the entire staff signed a card and the day we took him in they all loved on him and comforted us. This place is ridiculously overpriced. Diagnoses seem very skeptical, and I wasn't informed of all pricing until everything already happened. I came in for general shots and came out with fees for examinations and prescribed medication, which I don't think my fur babies even needed. I didn't even get a chance to say, "No, I don't need that." I've gone to other places that charge 1/4 of what they are charging and have gone to Vets that show me an invoice of what they will be performing or prescribing before they even do it. I highly advise that you seek out your options elsewhere. Read Less

Excellent care was given to our dog when a tumor was found in his liver. Dr. Munson and her assistants went above and beyond for my family, doing everything they could (and more) for the amount we could spend. My Bullmastiff was near death..... :( but it was by the Grace of God.... that we were blessed with the best staff here at LA Sierra.... These ladies ROCK!!!!! they really know their stuff and their caring attitudes helped us out in such a trying time... I bring all 4 of my dogs to this place! And let me just star by saying what a really sweet staff they have here! One of the doctors (Hes the only male) Doctor i have seen working here. He is SO amazing with my dogs! It really shows how much he loves his job because even right when he came through the door he introduced himself and laid right on the floor with my dogs! I really enjoyed seeing that he doesn't mind getting down to their level (Especially because we all know how stressful vet visits can be)They have helped me get my Pug into a weightless program and i also really loved that they dont force products on you AT ALL even if you dont have enough for the weigh loss kibble they give you the right portions for your dog if you wanna keep them on their current food. And one last thing, my mom is dominant Spanish speaking, and i really loved that the girls in the front really broke everything down and was patient with her. Thank you so much guys!! Read Less

The few times I've been here I've made an appointment. I end up waiting in the waiting room for 45 mins before being seen by a veterinary assistant. After waiting in the patient room for another 10 mins the vet comes in. She gives me a dx and doesn't bother asking me if I have any questions before leaving. Then I am dismissed once again to the waiting room to wait for meds while I listen to the receptionists trash talk other employees. After a week of being on meds, my dog is not showing improvement so I call in and they tell me it will cost more money for a revisit. Not gonna happen.Read Less

Great Place with Caring Staff. I have taken a couple of my pet rats here and the Vet and staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Recently, I brought in one of my rats who had a lump - they were able to diagnose him that day and they were willing to change their schedule so he could get the tumor removed before the holiday break. I highly recommend La Sierra vet - they are great about following up after a procedure and seem like they always have space in their schedule to see your pet. Read Less
