This place is the most unprofessional and horrible animal hospital I have ever brought my pet too. The wait is over 2 hours long, so be prepared for that. They do not even speak with you regarding your pet even when you check in. Then after an hour and 1/2 of waiting, I asked if my 2 young boys could use the bathroom and they said No. They stated “it is not a public restroom” and I had to take them all the way across the street to Ralph’s. Dr. Jezbera is great and has a wealth of knowledge in treating dogs and cats.  His ear cropping is the best around...been going to him since the 1970s.  His prices are very reasonable and will not gouge you in the end.  The wait is long...so be prepared, and he is not always available.  The other practitioner is Debbie Estrada..she is NOT a vet!  She has the title of BVMS(look at her business card), which is Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine...even though she and the staff represent her as a Doctor.  Wait a little bit of extra time and get Dr. J..he really is a great vet and does have the best interest of your pet in mind!  However, for ear crops..look no further..he is the BEST! We just bought a Doberman Pinscher and the breeder set us up with an appointment to get her ears cropped from Riverside Animal Hospital which is kind of a drive for us because we live in San Diego but we took it anyways when we got there we didn't really know what to expect but they were very friendly very informative about the procedure the doctor was very nice and explain exactly what he was going to do just a few hours later we pick our puppy up and she wasn't in any pain her ears were cropped perfectly and we were so happy they also answered any we had. We definitely recommend Riverside Animal Hospital for anybody that is looking to get their puppies ears cropped the doctor is super knowledgeable and the staff is awesome. A+ Read Less

This is a great Amimal hospital. This is the only Clinic I'll bring my dogs to, they are always taken care of and it's in a timely manner. & they are always quick to give my dogs refills when needed. I've never gotten a run around with this place like I have with others. Very disappointed at this hospital I brought my dog in because he ate something that gave him the runs..and he had a little blood in his stool from pooping so much...so I checked I. And it's 100 degrees out here and they told me to wait In the car in case it's parvo..i told them its not..tjey said we will hurry...well I have been in my car for 45 min..so I go inside and tell them my dog can't handle the heated car...they said WE DONT KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU it's gonna be another 30 min...what happened to NO ANIMAL IN HOT CARS...how unprofessional is that...what you don't have a room for sickly dogs??? 100 percent honesty the only thing that is appealing about this place is the fact that they are CHEAP. Working in a veterinary office myself, I would never treat any of my clients like they treated my sister and I at this hospital. However, I assume that's the price you pay when you want something done at a lower price. Yes, my sisters dog is doing great. He got all the services we needed for him done. The customer service up front is a total fail. The doctor(Debbie Estrada) is plain out harsh, rude, and emotionless. She was clearly annoyed when we asked to add other services to our dogs bill. I'm assuming most of the employees are here as a start to their careers. (I could definitely be wrong) The interior of the office is out dated and dirty. No appointments walk in service only. They put the wrong tape for torettos ears and look at them! They got horribly irritated!the other dobes got posted ears and they said was the wrong tape but they put it on the dogs anyways! It was very nasty and look uncomfortable for the dogs they said the tape is on back order! Had an ear crop performed here within 12hrs i was at the vet er for uncontrolled pain, they sent my lil guy home on doggy advil, vet er gave us tramadol, 24 hrs later im back because he has pus leaking from the surgical sight and needs antibiotics....if he were a human the hospital could be sued for the pt acquiring an infection in their care, the floors were dirty rooms looked unkempt..i should have listened to my gut but instead i followed the 4.5 star review, i regret that now. The staff was nice but not knowledgeable..im sure every day check ups are fine here but avoid any surgical procedures Read Less

THIS PLACE KILLED MY DOG, DO NOT COME HERE! Some ugly blonde chick, with a mustache, basically gave my dog the wrong dosage of medicine which later on gave my dog back to back seizures. I called and spoke to the evil bitch that looks like a man, she told me there's nothing that she could do, and that I need to just put my dog down. That evil lady deserves to be fired! The staff is very unprofessional, and has no sympathy for those in need of help. How the fuck do you give an animal the wrong dosage of medicine? That's your fucking job! I took my dog there a few months ago for vaccinations and for a bump that she had on the top of her head. I told them that she has had it for a while and that it had a liquid discharge and the Veterinarian said that it was not a big deal and that it would go away on its own. Well today my dog woke up with her head full of blood and in a lot of pain. I had to rush her to a ER vet clinic and paid $900$ dollars for something that according to them was not a big deal. I will be calling to get her medical records and will definitely be looking into it. I don't  understand how they could be so careless, if they don't care about pets then maybe they shouldn't be working there!!!! All this could have been avoided if they would have took the time to look into more closely.Well never take any of my pets there!!! Read Less

This is my second time here. It was recommended by a co-worker. I see they have mixed reviews, but for me they have been amazing. They are very reasonably priced and will let you know what they think should be done and then, what else could be done if you wanted to take extra precautions. The vet techs and doctors have been nice, professional and compassionate with my pups. It could probably use a little redecorating, but it's clean and that doesn't affect the service you get. Today I took my dog to get updated vaccinations. I waited an hour they do not take appointments. The people were nice and friendly. When it came time for my puppy to go the lady asked if she could just take her to do the vaccines. I said OK. She came back within 3 to 5 minutes I paid my bill. When I got to the car I noticed she had a little smaller than a dime size of blood on her. I took her quite a few times to get vaccines never has she bled. I will not go back! Read Less

I've been coming here with my 3 cats for awhile and overall they are awesome but they certainly have pros and cons. I could tell you lots of stories but i'll cut to the chase.Pros - Back office techs and vets are very kind and knowledgable - Inexpensive prices (Don't feel like i'm being ripped off) - Walk in only - No appointment needed (You can't make one if you wanted)Cons - Front office staff are boarderline rude (Just expect it, but know the back techs are awesome) - Waiting room could use a touch up (Doesn't affect service) - Hours can sometimes be difficult. They Close from 12-1:30 for lunch, but often stop taking patients at 11am. Close at 6pm but often stop taking patients at 5pm. They should change their hours to reflect this. After doing a ton of research on the minimal places that did ear croppings, we ended up choosing this place. I ended up making an appointment about 6 weeks out because they were so booked. Every staff member that we interacted with was pretty nice. Chris is actually the reason I ended up choosing this place because he was so courteous and helpful on the phone, always giving me undivided attention.We drove up from San Diego and they requested that we arrive between 8:30-9 in the morning. They mentioned that they cannot guarantee the time that they'll be finished but the doctor will usually try to work with those who aren't local. Needless to say, they called us around 12:15pm and said our Chase was done. We got his ears cropped on 1/8/16 and came back up for taping on 1/23/16. They showed us how to do it so we could attempt it at home. We bought the tape there and went to Home Depot to purchase the foam tube. Needless to say, his ears are already standing after the first week of being taped. You can see the pictures :) We just need to tape at least 2 more times since one side seems like it needs a little more healing. Random thought...not sure how they expect or other puppies are able to keep the cup on their head! We had to get a cone from our vet and this helped out so much with the shaking and scratching!
