Arden Animal Hospital

Sacramento, California
General Info
Arden Animal Hospital offers veterinary care for Sacramento families and the surrounding California areas. Pets do not remember being hospitalized, but they do recall how they were treated: rushed or listened to. That is where the concept development of the clinic’s design begins. A deliberately created entry experience slows people down. Pets have the option to stay in cars if they prefer, and sensory-sensitive animals can enter the building through designated side entrances. For this to happen, low stimulus rooms within the area ensure that the scent familiarization process and observational settling takes place. The examination procedure starts only after the animal regains basic spatial awareness. Pet owners also provide details about the animal’s morning routine, how they react to visitors and their behavior when uncomfortable at home—information used to plan daily visits. Arden Animal Hospital offers the following services: diagnostics, hydration evaluation, injury monitoring, surgical consultation, cardiopulmonary evaluation and immune health mapping. The medical rhythm is flexible: if the imprint risk is high, treatments can be paused after diagnostics and resumed later in the day or spread over several days. Environmental associations remain intact due to species-specific memory cues among cats, senior dogs and exotic animals. After care targets the home environment. Selection of rest spaces with the techniques to use lighting and odour for calmness together with strategies to adjust routines when appetite or mobility is temporarily lost. Follow-ups are customized by emotional recalibration not just symptom regression. Arden Animal Hospital offers veterinary services to Sacramento families and neighboring Californians that their pets always recollect in their habits and visits forever. The team provides the following specialized services: Anesthesiology, Behavioral Counseling, Blood Pressure Monitoring, Bloodwork, and Boarding. Clients highly commend the practice for its commitment and the way it devotes attention to pets’ needs. Whether it’s regular checkups or intricate surgeries, you can be sure your furry friend will receive the highest quality care in a relaxed atmosphere.

They almost killed my 5 pound cat by prescribing 3x the amount of flea medicine. When I spoke with one of the doctors she admitted to having 2 different weight numbers for my 2 year old rescue. My cat was lethargic, vomiting and would not come out from under the bed. Her skin was exposed from all the irritation. Very scary. My baby almost died. They gave ger steroids to reverse the effects of the poison that was in her system and encourage me to continue giving her the flea medicine. After paying for bloodwork, fecal test and the steroids I am out approximately 400.00 not to mention the stress and fear that she was dying. I will never ever consider going back nor will I recommend this place. Read Less

A little while back, we lost our cat and came in to have her put to sleep. My daughter (12) wanted to be there as this was "her" kitty. GREED. After spending $450 for what turned out to be a cat cold with them last year (tests, tests, TESTS because they are profitable!) Today I called because I have a feral cat in my yard with an infection. I asked if they would work with me on the prices so that I could pay to have the cat treated. They told me to take it to an animal shelter, where it will most likely be euthanized, because they WOULD NOT treat the animal with an antibiotic shot for less than $100. I can't imagine being so heartless, and shamelessly GREEDY that you would refuse to help someone get a cat that isn't even theirs treated and would rather see that cat go to a shelter and be killed than make less of a profit on a half an hour visit. Disgusting. Should be ashamed of themselves. Read Less
