Always professional, caring, and helpful during appointment. Staff was always nice and helpful, even when they were busy.

I'm glad my wife and I came to this clinic when our Timmy, a 20 year old Siamese, came to the end of his life.
We are from out of state and had no appointment. We were seen immediately and given the privacy of a consulting room without delay. Everything was explained carefully and we were able to be with and comfort our little friend during his final moments.
The kindness, concern and professionalism shown by the Doctors and Assistants helped all of us tremendously. Timmy was shown compassion and respect before, during and after his death. He went peacefully. No pain, no suffering.
I know it is more common to write reviews about situations that have a different outcome, but know too that the people here made an outstanding effort for our little companion and also for us. We could not have asked for better final care.

Excellent place. I just moved to I like that there is a separate entrance for cats/birds and dogs. Keeps things quiet for thé smaller ones so they don't go into a new place with big dog noises coming from behind the door.And the asian Dougie howser dr. Chan is a really good doctor. Very informative, attentive, and talks you through the tests and variables and details -- he doesn't just act like a yes/no machine. All the front staff are super helpful and all seem very well informed on subjects and clients. No "huh?" responses.Overall best place I've found so far in monterey county.

We started bringing our new puppy to Animal Hospital of Salinas and we are very happy with the service. Drs. Chan and Sage are at that sweet spot in their careers where they possess all the current training and knowledge of modern veterinary care, but they also have enough years of practice to appropriately apply their knowledge. They were very gentle with my puppy, listened to my concerns, and offered practical advice. The staff is patient and friendly, and "plugged in" to their clients' needs. Great place! Oh, and there are separate entrances/waiting rooms for cats & dogs, which I am sure is much appreciated by the feline group. :)

Dr. Kennedy has sold the practice to two young Veterinarians who are outstanding, Dr. Al Chan and Dr. Rachel Sage. They treat both animals and their owners with respect and provide helpful information. Their staff is excellent and well trained. I enjoy going there and seeing the high level of care pets receive. This Vet hospital is worth checking out with these new and professional doctors.

I called to discuss a surgical procedure and the ""head nurse"" as she identified herself was completely unhelpful and hung up without even completing a conversation. I had asked to send them a photo of my pets injury before taking a half day off work to do an examination, but clearly they are only interested in CASH, not your pet's well being. Avoid them like the plague.

We have been to this vet one time too many. We have a friendly corgi golden retriever who has never bitten anyone (except an unfriendly mailman). On our first visit the vet tech was rude and not professional. We figured he had a bad day. The second visit was for a cut toe. A different vet tech took our pup, looked at his paw, called it a scratch and literally dropped him on the floor. It may have been a scratch, but our pup was limping and in discomfort. Then the same vet tech that was rude during our first visit, took the pup back to ""weigh"" him, and brought him back out with a muzzle. When we questioned him about the muzzle, he promptly turned around, went back into back room with our dog, and muttered something vulgar under his breathe. About 10 minutes later we recieved our pup back. The vet was very nice, but his staff was HORRIBLE! All of this of course happened in front of our 8 yr old daughter, who is almost as traumatized as the dog.

I'm glad my wife and I came to this clinic when our Timmy, a 20 year old Siamese, came to the end of his life.
We are from out of state and had no appointment. We were seen immediately and given the privacy of a consulting room without delay. Everything was explained carefully and we were able to be with and comfort our little friend during his final moments.

We started bringing our new puppy to Animal Hospital of Salinas and we are very happy with the service. Drs. Chan and Sage are at that sweet spot in their careers where they possess all the current training and knowledge of modern veterinary care, but they also have enough years of practice to appropriately apply their knowledge.
